Awesome news from HTC !!!
EVO 3D european version confirmed from HTC france ! even with its same name , no release date yet.
this got me very excited, how about you guys ?
check this out , the original article with HTC france twitter link

What 3g bands do the euro phones normally work on, 850/1900?
they added it to gsmarena , here is a comparision btween the gsm and the cdma version
http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=3901&idPhone2=3895
900/2100 is the standard for phones for Europe/Asia.
Apparently when the GSM version of the phone was first posted on the HTC website it had the 900/AWS/2100 bands listed but that information was removed a couple of days before all the specs were taken down. Probably because of the AT&T/T-Mobile acquisition, which looks like it will end in AWS going away in the USA.

Good news!!!
I found in the european version only 1 GB of internal storage... why in the hell such a lame amount of memory instead 4GB of usa version????
I can't understand this policy of htc, and why on 2011 only 1GB of storage, I think al teast 4Gb of rom is the minimum requirement....
I don't want to experience again the lack of space for installing apps like my actual htc desire with only 120 Mb of space...
Yes, the specs for the European/Asian version listed only 1GB of storage BUT I am hoping that that may change before release since HTC have now pulled all the specifications from their worldwide website and not just the 3G frequency bands, which they pulled before.

I don't know what's that, i tried google translate with no results.
Anyway for me 1Gb of space is a shame in2011 for a high end phone
I hope there is a simple mistake into the specs.
It's quite illogical to have same phones with different ram size.
I like that there will be a gsm version, this way the community will expand.

This is storage, not RAM and we do often see US versions of the phones with different storage, different batteries and sometimes different designs. It depends on what the carrier asks for.
Also in some phones the built in storage is actually a microSD card, which is perfect for different configurations for different markets.

Hey people,
First here is my question : I am a rom flashing addict! I really like to flash different roms on my phone, now considering this, should I buy the international version (quad core and 1gb ram) or I can buy the Canadian version (dual core and 2gb ram)? I know that Canadian is the same than American version (And i THINK Japanese). The problem, once again I THINK, is that the rom of one of the versions wont work on the other.
So knowing I like to flash roms which version should I buy? (also buying the Canadian version will cost me less and it will be easier to repair the phone if I have a problem)
Thanks a lot for your help.
Actually, it isnt necessary to have 100 diff roms that arent good, but at least of couple of them that have good support (no matter what is the version).
Also, i really dont care abt the specs of the phone (hardware speaking).
Thanks again
Go for the North American version. The processor in it (the S4) currently smokes every dual core processor. The North American version will probably see more development support as all the major US carriers are getting the same version, plus Canada.

Why does everyone think the us has more devs what on xda maybe but no there is more devs in.Eu and most Asia than in us I can't understand that lol how about you look at the thread about unified development idk wth people will be jealous over anything infact international side is new to me and so far I like what I see being I'm getting the UK s3 not the us version I can get both but why would I .
I have 4 phones on sprint now don't need a 5 but I don't envy having to deal with carrier updates and delays due to apple past that issue they will be great us and non us quad core , dual core or 2 gigs ram to 1 all I care is we have better stuff than apple ..

Yes CPU is on par but what about Mali 400 vs adreno 225 .
I have that same setup in the EVO LTE minus a gig of ram and all I see is quadrant and vellamo which I belive one is based dual core and the other qualcomm I think created but when u look at the one x tegra and s3 quad its noticeably faster .
But who cares on bench marks I agree heavy multi taskers will enjoy the 2 gigs ram but I don't have issues on.my evo LTE especially with more roms coming.
Everyday use they will both be awesome phones but as I said we are awaiting apple's crap end of year because after all the bs this year by them I think most of us are waiting on the ip5 vs sgs3 as trivial it is

As per title, are LG doing to ship the 32GB variant to Europe as every non-imported model appears to be 16GB?
Thanks
My usual German store shows both 16GB and 32GB in pre-order, so I'm assuming yes.
In Norway it seems only the 32GB is on sale, comes in black or white.
Interesting, wonder why LG have decided then not to ship 32GB to UK then, or whether its a supply constraint?
I'll just have to import from the continent.
LG for some reason don't like the UK market! I've had bad experiences with them in the past over a tv and a sound bar

It's 32GB, 24.60 is probably the free space you got for the Virtual SD Card.
I figured as much, but doesn't that seems strange? Would the OS etc really consume 7.4 GB? Hell you could fit a Windows into that! If this is the case, then a 16GB version of the phone would be left with 8-9 GB of space only. This is clearly quite low for todays standards.
Also I suppose this confirms the question if we'll be getting 32 GB in Europe, as I seem to have one.
Delete the boatwares and you will gain some space
I don't believe I can as my phone is unrooted as of so far, is there a root for my version of the phone? (Swedish Tele2)
The price difference between the 16 and 32 GB model is no negligible they should just make one version.

O2 exclusive I hear
Sent from my Nexus 4 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I asked an O2 rep instore. They confirmed they will have it (but not yet) - couldn't give me a time frame or anything.
The 32gb one is not on their website and the 16gb one isn't even on their front page. For someone who has exclusivity they really don't look like they care. And their contract deals are insanely expensive on this phone. This is not looking good
Because nobody wants 16gb if non expandable storage with 12gb user availability. This with a camera that shoots 13mp 1080p at 60fps. I mean how much can you record? Like 10min before disk space is low?
Couple of apps, couple of pics, few cd's aaaaand diskspace is gone.
They should have never made a 16gb model. It should have been 32/64.
I am from Belgium and eagerly looking for a new phone cuz the screen is broken from my s3. But I refuse to buy the 16gb model and they do not (yet? ) sell the 32gb version.
Just got word from lg Belgium/Netherlands/Luxemburg that the 32gb variant will never be sold here.
So we can only get 16gb, big marketing mistake.
So I will not buy an LG G2 then... shame, I definitely would have liked the g2.
32 GB only in Denmark.
I am about to buy a motherboard of ebay and want to know if it compatible..
LGg3 d850 Board going in to an LGG3 d851
Yes, the frames are the same so the motherboard will fit in the same way.
Thanks for the reply
After doing some research I found that the D851 is exclusive to T-Mobile and the D850 is At&T's. The 851 also has more Ram and internal storage. The difference being 32G for the 851 and 16G for the 850. How much different will this be? Is it a night and day difference in responsiveness or will I not even really notice? Well my chief concern is compatibility. I need to know if all other components will work correctly after the switch.
Thanks for any responce

Not sure where you are getting the info that the ATT version has less RAM and storage. They are the same between the 2. http://www.lg.com/us/cell-phones/lg-D850-Metallic-Black-g3 The LCD assembly and frame are the same between them as well so all the components will fit in the same spots when swapping the board.
Hmmmmmmmmmmm
Is this a bad site or is there something I'm missing. The link you provided also has the AT&T logo next to the phone I noticed.. It appears they conflict or am I still missing something????
LOL this site will not let me post a link to the site I found the information because I'm a new member. but if you do a Google search ( Difference between D850 and D851 . you should see a site called PHONEMORE. that's where I got the info
D850 is ATT and D851 is Tmo. They have the same specs. I'm not sure where you are seeing a conflict. All the American carriers got the 3 GB RAM / 32 GB storage versions. The 2 / 16 was only for some of the international versions. D855 I think.

I doubt it'll appear—it's a classic Samsung tune, with every model since Note 2 they've been promising a “Luxury” of whatever version of the same model, always with double the storage. They've never materialized…

A 128GB Note 8 would be brilliant but I'm just happy we're getting 64GB as a base option even if Micro SD is included.
It may be because the 128gb and 256 GB versions in Korea might not have the expandable memory option. Idk

In my opinion the reason Samsung does this is the higher storage options also happen to be the "dual SIM" version. Same goes with the 128gb version of the HTC U11.
I believe they expect you to use both slots for SIM cards and therefor give you more storage space to make up for it.
I personally think this sucks. Yes, the SD is fine for "media" (photos, videos, books, documents etc) but the default "download" folder is internal, most apps place cache on internal, and Games, did I mention Games yet? I would Love to own a 256gb note AND have an SD card for media, but Samsung and HTC disagree with me and think 64gb for apps and games is more than enough.
This when Apple offers 32gb, 128gb, and 256gb Iphones (and the rumors for the soon to be released point to 64,256,512!!!)
Seriously, Android is always about compromises and the manufacturers lecturing us that they know best (region specific storage, RAM, colours, in LG's case DACs, etc) Yes, Android is about choice, just not our choices.

Yes I agree. I could care less about expandable memory if you give me 256gb or more of internal storage. Especially when like you said I have a limited amount of apps I can actually move to my sd card. But I feel like alot of U.S customers actually care about that which is why Samsung justifies keeping it in the U.S market and can get away with the 64gb version. Even though manufacturing wise it probably would have been easier for them to just crank out just a 128gb and 256gb internal storage version
