I was wondering if anybody could maybe make a bootanimation simiiliar to the likes of the picture below? This would be a great bootanimation IMO.

I know I was just trying to post so that people that dont know can see it. The description of that vid has the .zip file. Vibrant users should donwload the 800 file.

I wasnt able to find a video but if anybody out there knows how to make animations it would be great if they would make one. Also Nice avatar ro33zy. It's just frustrating to not see a vid of this out there.

hmmm no video..but you can test out the NS in a best buy...kinda hard to explain the animation in words..u have see it for yourself
think of a tv screen shutting off and the white light recedes twds the middle creating a horizontal line until it completely goes away...

That looks like the puzzle-lock screen with moddified pngs. In other words, I'd say he made it himself.
Yep, its puzzle lock, but the guy either made or downloaded it off of a rom, ask this in the fascinate section
Hey guys , if you look at my thread history , you can probably tell that im on the quest for the perfect WP7 (metro) UI setup. This led me tonight to whip together a flashable .zip for the stock WP7 sounds . These are just the notifications and ringtones. If there is any interest at all , i might do the actual system sounds as well . I know a lot of people hate on bringing elements from other UIs over .... this is for the people that dont .
As always , not responsible for anything that happens to your phone , blah , blah. Always backup before you flash. Flash in recovery . Voodoo/NonVoodoo , doesnt matter.
Been tested by several as working fine, let me know if there are any issues .

I'd like to download this for my Incredible, but since I'm running CWM 3, it doesn't support the old update.zip, and now can only flash zip files using updateR.zip

I didn't put them on my phone yet, just listened to them after downloading. I think it was Ring8 or Ring9 though.
Yeah Im using a ring and notification from it . Ring 26 and alert 4 .

Just extract the notifications from the zip and paste them where your ringtones are in root explorer. Reboot and profit. That's how I got them to work.

Yes I've tried it. It looks ok kinda stretched and blurry but it's ok for the most part. The logo at the end looks pretty sweet.

Why does my phone not play the complete video and not play sound?
i have not put in sound.... and the boot animation is LONG.... i might have to trim it down more and make it higher quality.... or up the frame rate... i have to experiment.. but i dont have another android phone to test it out on... so this takes time...
oh and thanks for you guys actually taking an interest and giving feedback on this... hopefully i will be able to make quality bootanimations in the near future....

lol.. yea it would be cool. But unless u can format the video to one which the phone understands. It probably wouldn't even boot past the splash screen. So no, i don't think u can just use a u tube video.
Check the desire z/g2 forum themes and apps section there's a good tut on it and very easy. I can't wait till the game gets released next week either
