It's not officially supported, but one can get it to install by changing the build.prop file to show a different device so that the installation goes through!
I installed it but it lags...a lot...I'm on a stock rom with no overclocking...that might be the reason
It seems to run fine on mine but I usually run @ 1ghz, not played it much though but what I have seen its good

didn't work for me...
some flickering video, a then when I tried to start a new game, black screen, and had to power+vol-up to be able to shut down.
luckily I was able to make it back to the market in time for a refund
..just discoverd same issue

GTA 3 has been updated. Since the update, I can not find the game for the razr on the android market !!!
My phone is root.
Cause the developers are n00b. develop to qualcom gpus... i cant try it on razr, cause i cant buy it..... next night i find some warez version and chech whit it, with chainfire and qualcom driver. in lot of game, the correct gpu driver is correct the graphic and other bugs.. not in all.. but lot of.
there is an update now available and it now works i have just checked and gta3 re-appeared on my app list with an update,downloaded and installed and all is working fine.

Somebody played that gfame on RAZR XT910 withou chainfire3d? On my RAZR (rooted) without chainfire it's not working!
Hey I just bought a maxx hd and I noticed that modern combat 3 is preinstalled as a demo, but I have already purchased it. Now heres the dumb part when I try to download the payed version to play it I get the dreaded (device not compatible) what the heck! anyone else have this issue?

I had the same problem with 9mm on my s3. Again with mass effect infiltrator on my nexus. ME:infiltrator is EA though.

Here's my problem with the game... When i use TiBu (i'm rooted) to uninstall the game, it still shows in my app drawer. And after a reboot it fully reinstalls. Even if i didn't save a backup. How the hell do i permanently delete it?
I tried and tried to remove it, even went as far as manually deleting its folders from the system, but seeings as it does not use much space I just disabled it. I have not tried using titanium backup though so maybe try that if you want, besides you'd only reinstall it when JB update is released.

I've settled with just freezing it in TiBu. That's the only way it disappears from my app drawer.
You can always just disable the app. Settings. Apps. Find the app select it and disable it. If it doesn't show the disable button. Uninstall the updates then disable.
I disabled the demo of MC3 but I still can't install the full version of MC3.

ok I am sure allot of us are getting frustrated with the lack of market support for apps due to the Screen resolution, or whatever reason... but what are some apps that are not supported by the play store that work fine... and also ones that crash or dont function properly

The game Rayman Jungle Run is marked incompatible in the Play Store, but on Amazon Apps it says it is compatible.
When sideloaded the game runs perfect, and it is gorgeous with those hand drawn art assets.
I hope they patch dead zone the game is so badass I even play it with the pink guys but I would like it to work

I haven't had this issue at all, almost all apps on the market work fine for me. I was even able to install the XDA App for Tablets directly from the Market (it works without a hitch). It makes me interested in sideloading some apps from my Prime, given the DNA does have a very high res display. Will post results.
Angry birds star wars HD starts up but when selecting a level it instantly quits.
Shawdowgun Thd is for Tegra chipsets only.

GTA Vice City works great when side loaded. Bought it on Nexus 7 and used titanium backup then installed on DNA. Works flawless!:laugh:

which app didn't work? I used my backups from my nexus to restore my games to my DNA and I had no issues other than angry birds star wars FC...
ChompSMS - had to install it from their website. Works great.

I have bought on Google Play.
It can be installed and worked well on my mom's XPERIA P.
But on Google Play of my Desire X.
It tell me the game doesn't support your device...
How could be?

The graphics of the games are very low I have tried to replace files in obb.
But when I open the game it will update and cover what I had replace.

I found it from independent source, installed it and it works flawless.
Install Android Assistant app from Play Store on your mother's Xperia, go to tab Tools, choose tool App Backup & Restore, make a backup of the app, copy it to your phone, install, download additional data and play it.
IMO it's not piracy if he paid for the app and uses it on both phones.

See, I think that all of us, who bought Desire X hurryed (not sure if I wrote that correct). Need for Speed Most Wanted (as the very best Gameloft games) is not available on Google Play for us because of the "480x800" pixels, instead of the "480x854" pixels...it is quite an unsignificant difference but it still exists.

It works for me
bought it also via galaxy nexus, cant install it on my dx via playstore.
just get the apk from somewhere else (if you already bought it, of course), and install it on your dx.
f*ck this google compatibility-sh*t, cant play asphalt 6 on my dx anymore, what the heck, it even worked fine on my xperia ray (1ghz singlecore), even if i install it from other source i get the message from gameloft, that its not compatible. FU gameloft....
Stop talking warez here on xda.
And don't come with the story you bought for another phone. Maybe, but talking about downloading from warez sites still is prohibited on xda...
