Hey I just bought a maxx hd and I noticed that modern combat 3 is preinstalled as a demo, but I have already purchased it. Now heres the dumb part when I try to download the payed version to play it I get the dreaded (device not compatible) what the heck! anyone else have this issue?

I had the same problem with 9mm on my s3. Again with mass effect infiltrator on my nexus. ME:infiltrator is EA though.

Here's my problem with the game... When i use TiBu (i'm rooted) to uninstall the game, it still shows in my app drawer. And after a reboot it fully reinstalls. Even if i didn't save a backup. How the hell do i permanently delete it?
I tried and tried to remove it, even went as far as manually deleting its folders from the system, but seeings as it does not use much space I just disabled it. I have not tried using titanium backup though so maybe try that if you want, besides you'd only reinstall it when JB update is released.

I've settled with just freezing it in TiBu. That's the only way it disappears from my app drawer.
You can always just disable the app. Settings. Apps. Find the app select it and disable it. If it doesn't show the disable button. Uninstall the updates then disable.
I disabled the demo of MC3 but I still can't install the full version of MC3.

Hi just bought a razr couple days ago and tried to install some HD games from gameloft and get a messege that my device is not supported
I have seen some youtube videos with gameloft games on razr so i wonder why my razr is not working on same games?
I have a nordic razr but it should be the same all? Anyone have a clue?

If so, try to enable external APK installation and try to install the game's APK off of the Market. For example, download it on another device and copy/install it on your RAZR, or download it on your PC and copy/install on RAZR.
I hate the new Android Market. For example, apps that can work on my ATRIX / SGS2 are shown as not downloadable (device not supported), but manually installing them works flawlessly 99% of the times.

The messege is not shown on market it shows after i install the game and start it first time. Then the messege pops up "your device is not supported" I also tried to download the games to computer than to dropbox and have tried to install it on the phone that way but it ends the same way..
So you have to use an updated version of the game...
There is a game called riptide, its brand spanking new...try that plz and let us know. Its one of the reasons I will buy this..(or not)

Riptide is working well. PES2011 and Samurai II also work. Shadowgun & most of the Gameloft games are not working.

Maybe its been updated, but Shadowgun is working just fine for me on my Razr

Yes, shadowgun was updated & now can run on Razr. PES2012 is nice & got option to play online.

I have noticed that since the OMAP4 is just the latest in the PowerVR line, many games designed for older PowerVR chipsets work on the RAZR! Backstab HD for the Galaxy S for example works pretty well. Very smooth.

I think that *maybe* there might be a fix, because on other devices when u have issues like this from the market, you need to change your LCD density back to what is normal for your device, however IDK what the density is by default on this device, but try changing it to something else and see what happens?
For instance everytime i want to update 3 ceartain apps i have to chance my LCD density back to normal on my MT4GS and had to on all my other devices, as well as people are reporting this works on the SG2 forums i believe

It's not available for the EVO 3D, but it's possible to get it on your phone by doing something like purchasing it on another (rooted) android, backing it up with titanium backup, and restoring the backup onto your phone (also with titanium backup).
EDIT: You can also trick the market into thinking you have a different phone that GTA is available for using a few free apps available in the market; however, I have tried a few different apps and haven't gotten them to work, but other users have reported it works for them.
I followed a market link when it first came out, the game runs fine, no issues.

I bought gta3 from the market the morning it came out, and I play it frequently. I followed a link from engadget.com . Now gta3 does not show in the market on my 3d to update, it does show that i purchased it in the market on my Acer 100 tablet.

Try pressing home button when you are on black screen then
hold home button and click GTA 3 icon
or
Start it from notifications..........It worked for me.
I see it baked into some Roms but could never get it to play correctly

I have it running flawlessly. However I didn't get it from the Android market on the phone. It installed and downloaded the "required files" without any problems.. Runs in HD, but the controls are a bit annoying, as with most driving games for touchscreen devices.
bought this the morning it came out and works perfectly, cant see why they removed it the next day...

hey guys
i bought S3 two weeks back
it runs smooth but when i play temple run it starts lagging like when i try to turn by swiping it keeps going straight
the game works fine for initial minute or two. even on Google play store, reviews of S3 users for temple run mention this problem
I tried turning power saving mode off , hard reset but no luck
has anybody else having the same problem?
i have played it on my ipod and it irritates me that i cant play like it on my new phone so plz help me resolve the problem,

If you purchased the game I'd simply suggest you upgrade to the latest version (as I've got the game on my s3 and works perfectly).
If you downloaded it from somewhere then either its a dodgy version or the way they've cracked it is effecting game play.

I downloaded it from Google Playstore only and it was free
Other games like Asphalt 7 or Shadowgun are working fine
Oh I was referring to the ''Brave'' version. Are you running any custom rom that could be interfering.

The game Rayman Jungle Run is marked incompatible in the Play Store, but on Amazon Apps it says it is compatible.
When sideloaded the game runs perfect, and it is gorgeous with those hand drawn art assets.
I hope they patch dead zone the game is so badass I even play it with the pink guys but I would like it to work

I haven't had this issue at all, almost all apps on the market work fine for me. I was even able to install the XDA App for Tablets directly from the Market (it works without a hitch). It makes me interested in sideloading some apps from my Prime, given the DNA does have a very high res display. Will post results.
Angry birds star wars HD starts up but when selecting a level it instantly quits.

GTA Vice City works great when side loaded. Bought it on Nexus 7 and used titanium backup then installed on DNA. Works flawless!:laugh:

which app didn't work? I used my backups from my nexus to restore my games to my DNA and I had no issues other than angry birds star wars FC...
ChompSMS - had to install it from their website. Works great.

Yeah, Bluestacks is definitely one way to go at it but still too cumbersome for most people. I've got a page where I have posted common apk files that people need and willing to add more on request. Appreciated the article, got as far as 'bluestacks' only to be told that my Windows needed 'SP2'. Not being massively computer literate this confused me. Does this mean in order for this to work i need to update my software from somewhere or am i going to have to shell out for a new laptop??

Sky Go Struggle on-going
I have followed the instructions on the original link and managed to get Sky + working on my kindle and Sky Go installed on the tablet. However, whenever i try to open a channel the same old 'device not supported' text comes up!?
I thought i was getting somewhere only to grind to a halt. Any ideas from the floor?
Blue stacks is great! I have Play Store installed, and it force closes every time I open it; however, I've the log-on services framework installed. Maybe a few other things. I use blue stacks to access my existing play store apps I paid for, back them up using ES File Explorer, and upload onto google drive. I haven't had a problem installing and using paid for play store apps; play store closes, but it only really needs to be installed. It never lets me get past the terms of service agreement before closing.
Anyone getting past that without rooting? That kinda messes with the stock apps--considering I need those to work, rooting will never happen for my kfhd8.9.

I'm talking about the version you use on a Windows or Mac computer. I was using a copy of Chrome for Android already.

Everything installs except vending.apk so I have no Play store. I am rooted. I don't understand because there is already a vending apk in system/apps but if you click that it won't install either. Writing over t with the new one just leads to not being able to install the new one, re-booting doesn't help. I am stuck.

Chainfire has a issue regarding recovary. We shouldn't use it unless we have another backup option.
