Hello, I was just wondering if anyone had a flashable zip of the official ARC wallpapers. I'm using wolfbreak's cm and i don't really like the cyanogen mod wallpapers. I'd much rather prefer Arc's because they are beautiful.
search the themes&apps section. Theres a whole thread on everything you would want from the arc.
Its called "arcify your x10"

Thanks man. That thread is very useful.
Well... one other thing. How am I supposed to install those files? I mean they come in a rar and not a zip so I'm kinda lost here.
You will have to manually unrar the files into your SD card. You can do so via an app called androzip. Then to apply the wallpaper, you will have to choose it from your gallery.
Hope that helps you out.

Is MM an acronym for something, or is that its name? I used to theme my G1 b4 Android 1.6 came out and never heard of MM.

Nope, don't know how to use MetaMorph. But I bet I can learn it this weekend. hope to have a rough Harley Theme up in a week or so.
Yeah I'm sorry for posting in the wrong place please forgive but I couldn't find the Q and A section. I found an XDA posting about ice cream sandwich themes and wutknot and I noticed that you install the .zip from Cwm recovery. Im wondering if anyone has tried this with their Touchpad. I found the link by Googling "ice cream sandwich adw theme"

I flashed a theme on mine, I believe it was called "Transformerbread" or something to that effect. (It's on xda somewhere. I'll edit with a link if I find it.)
Short answer, yes. BUT... always do a backup first.
EDIT: Here's the one I flashed. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1130271
EDIT 2: Here's an ICS theme that's flashable... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1311339.
Here is the theme op with download links. You install the apk and apply it with theme Chooser. To get the full effect you then flash the zip with cwm recovery.

I flash the zip and installed the apk from joenathane's thread and it works well. But I believe the op is talking about an adw theme.

Yeah I see that now. I posted what I did because it is the only theme that has a flashable zip with it. All adw themes are just apk's.

So what's the difference if you Flash the Zip?
Good question, it probably Just refines it a bit more. I can speak for the .apk, and tell you that it changes all download screens to a blue thin bar and changes the main menu screens to a nice gray color, and your taskbar to that blue shade, and changes your on- screen hardware buttons a bit. Overall I was satisfied enough not to install the zip.

Just saw this over in the Captivate section and thought I'd share it. This apk will allow you to use MIUI lockscreens on all GB ROMs.
Get it here.
Does this replace the stock one or is it like widget locker?
Sent from Tapatalk using my Samsung GT-I9100
It's kind of like GoLocker or WidgetLocker. It's an alternative lockscreen app.
It's nice. Any way to get it in English? It uses all chinese language stuff.

Hi every1.
Can anyone mod default Xperia lockscreen?
Xperia's that get ICS got their lockscreen changed.
There is Unlock on the left and Camera on the right slider.
I found that very usefull.
I can't found any app in /system/app that is lockscreen, so I think that it's part of Home.apk
Help please.

i thing you can found it in framework-res.apk
I have tried to modify it, but couldn't find correct files for the lockscreen. Looked through SystemUI.apk, framework-res.apk and some other files.
My idea was to check the .jar files in /system/framework, but since ICS is around the corner, I better wait for the update.

I have ICS firmwares myself also, but I am too busy to deal with it.
Also, ICS is around the corner, just wait for the update.
If you can't wait, search from Market for other lockscreen apps, like GoLocker, Widgetlocker and some others.
Had them, but they got on my nerves.
Oh well, gonna stick to default until ICS gets released and ported (prerooted and etc...)

How can i flash the rom.. I mean for some reason my can not get into the sd card when i am in recovery mod can i do this via odin
No offense but you are greener than the Chicago river on St. Patricks day. there is an all in one noob guide stickied at the to of this page that includes video. Modding your phone is like riding a motorcycle. You don't do it unless you absolutely know what you're doing because mistakes are very costly.

Once you are rooted and a new rom installed then you can change you're boot animation by using a file manager like root explorer that can mount protected files as r/w, to drop a boot animation zip file into system/media.

That is due to the market updating itself along with gmail and any other apps, when there is an update, you will loss the theme to that app, hard to keep up and if you flash the theme pack to get the icons again, the market will make you update...so other than retheming the new apps...you will lose the themed icons.
I know the feeling i love the themed icons...
