I looked around the forum for a new kernel but the threads I see don't mention kernels for miui. Can someone point me to a faq that explains how to tell if a kernel is safe for the Fascinatemiui-V5 Rom?

So since his thread is dead and the r13 I'm usng isn't even posted on this site I have to make a thread. I noticed on all other ROMs I have my normal 3g at all times but on this ROM it always say H. How can I change it so its 3g. And are lag fixes safe to use on this ROM? Thanks

After you install if you use sydia kernel wifi might not work. That's a personal tip.

CM7 replaces the kernel with its own compatible kernel.
Make sure you read the instructions about double-flashing.
I fond this guide here in xda and there are more if someone wants to give us another miu rom since its locked the other thread....

IMO5.x Sense kernels are superb for that. Their function varies on the main version after the x, so read up on which does what for what you are looking to do, and then flash it.
