IMO5.x Sense kernels are superb for that. Their function varies on the main version after the x, so read up on which does what for what you are looking to do, and then flash it.

After you install if you use sydia kernel wifi might not work. That's a personal tip.

CM7 replaces the kernel with its own compatible kernel.
Make sure you read the instructions about double-flashing.
Ok after googling all night I have come to realize I can't fund no kernel downloads for bcblend, rcmix or anyothers.I have anthrax.can anyone help out and shoot them my way if you have any
