Hi,
When i disable the feedback for the keypad, it seems to disable for the 4 keys (menu, home, back and search) as well. I love to have haptic feedback for the four buttons on vibrant. Is there any way to enable the feedback for the buttons only?
thanks

dont know how to fix it but its because the themes you're flashing are made for i9000 and they havent added haptic feedback because the i9000 has a hardkey not a soft key
might be the same sort of way to fix button remapping
Yea cause i get the theme @ i9000.. do u know how to fix it or do the key mapping?

Thanks. I'll dig through that to see what I can see.
Edit: Found it. For anyone's reference it's PhoneWindowManager.smali that needs to be fixed in android.policy.jar.

You need to turn on notifications, when your looking at the news feed press your menu haptic button , the button on the bottom left of your 4 button layout go into settings and turn on vibrate or select an alert tone and the notifications will work. I also recommend setting the refresh interval in the settings to never to save battery. Hope this helps.

I downloaded sik notifications...my setting were as you explained.
I was wondering if there is a way to disable the touch buttons on the bottom of the phone. I'm using the AOKP rom and I would prefer to use the onscreen buttons that you can enable in the rom settings.
I hope so. -__-

Is there anyway that i can turn the jeybiard vibration off but the capacitive buttons vibration are on?
Without flashing a custom rom
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
I believe there is a setting for that. If you go to settings > input and language and select the keyboard you use, there should be a setting to turn off haptic feedback/disable vibration.

Other than pressing the home screen button is there a way to get the s pen to take you back to the home screen? Tried a quick Google search but couldn't find anything.
Only way right now is to buy GMD SPen Control from the market and create your own gesture.

Thanks but I'll wait and see if there might be an update that will allow it before I spend $5 on it.

Im pretty sure you can create your own gestures with out having to buy anything. Plus there is already a way to get to hime. But you have to draw the back button .ill look for it and post it here. With the way to create gestures
Go to settings... s pen..... s pen settings. There you can create a gesture or a function you want the s pen to do. Theres also s help page at the bottom when you scroll all the way down.
