I've read the marketing fluff and they seem to suggest quicker connections and better battery life. But has anyone actually tried a BT v2.0- EDR headset? Right now my moto HS850 is only BT 1.2 and battery life is a lot shorter when I have I am actively using it.
I've got my eye on a snazzy new Moto H670 because it has an off switch and uses a usb charger. But it's new and a lot more expensive compared to the old hat v1.2 headsets. Will it make a difference?
I have Nokia BH-900 that is BT 2.0.
So far the only difference I have noticed is the faster connection time to the phone.
With my older headsets (Nokia HDW-3, HDW-4, SonyEricsson HBH-300) it took about 5-8secs to connect but with this one it's 2secs.
Dunno about the battery life. Nokia has promised up to 8hrs of talk time with this one and up to 180hrs stand by. I can't verify this since I usually end up recharging it every day. So far the longest time I've been on the phone non-stop has been 3hrs and had no problems.
There are no REAL improvements that I have noticed. Sound quality is moderate with this ear piece.
I had Sony Ericsson HBH-IV835 (also BT 2.0) and it connected in 2 secs to the phone, but I returned it for its poor sound quality and short range ('bout 5 meters).
What stereo blue tooth HEADSET do you recommend for Wizard? I am interested into a head set not very expensive ...but I want also to be able to listen music or to speak at the phone with it.
Bluetooth headset of my choice

I'm using Sony Ericson HBH-DS970
Pretty good sound but battrry life is little bit doubtfull about 4 hours of nonstop listening but on stand by waiting for call battery last much more.
Plantronics have similar model but with no display, - if I remember well.
I'm using a Motorola HT820 headset. Pretty good sound and a longlife battery. You can make phonecalls and hear music.
But bevor you can hear music you have to upgrade the software to AKU 3.3.
I bought it at EBAY Germany for 20 Euros.
Guys can anyone tells me ? who have been using Jabra BT3030 .. How long should i charge it ? Also how often ?
hey guys, im looking for some bluetooth headphones or earphones to use withe S tab, I know that the tab uses 2.1+EDR bluetooth... so any ideas?

I've tried using a pair I had already (sony dr-bt21g). The sound cuts out all the time on them.So just to advise really, if it's possible it would be a good idea to try a pair out with them connected to yout tablet.
Using Motorola s9-hds, work fine. When they're turned on all sound gets muted on the tablet and redirected to the headphones, when turned off it goes back to normal on the tablet again. Would recommend.
25-30 foot range which is better than I need it to be. Supposed to work with my PS3 too, haven't tried. The new s10-hds are supposed to be worse for range and sound but better for battery life.
Sennheiser MM400s no issues
Works good with Logitech Wireless Speaker Adapter for Bluetooth
I just paired it with my MW600 that I use with my Xperia ARC S.
Will get back with a little bit more detailed info when I have tested them a bit more.
but sync went ok and it sound good so far.
if you dont mind in-ear type earbuds id HIGHLY suggest lg tones-700.

UPDATE - range is good, so is battery life but frequent sync/drop issues make these no good. Even with the tablet held up in front of my face I get drops in audio. Upgraded to the s10-hds, and although the sound isn't as good (or loud) the connection is pristine. No drops at all. Battery life is even better, easily beating the tablet itself.
I kid of didn't use much BT before, but somehow, because of good sound characteristics that will come out of SGS3 with the APT-X i'm thinking of using it for wireless listening to music.
I have read about a few BT headsets, so they usually use 6-10 hours of use between charges.
How much does the Bluetooth usage drain batteries of phones? Could you say your experience with SGS2 or other device? Can you use SGS2 for a day and then listen like 5 hours of music ove BT?
