I had posted about this a couple of months ago but decided to put it on a back burner and work on some other things.
Here is my problem. I am connecting to the wifi at work and also have a Creative D100 A2DP speaker that I use for listening to music. I use Pandora and also an app called Gizmo which allows me to stream music from my home computer. I can connect to the speaker and it will play for a while and then drop the bluetooth connection to the speaker. Sometimes it plays one song sometimes many then just disconnects. I can go into settings and reconnect and it will do the same thing.
I have tried this with TNT Lite, Vegan, TTx, and now Calkulins rom. They all do the same thing.
Anyone have any idea how I can keep the bluetooth connection alive? The speaker is A2DP only. It will not autoconnect like a BT headset will, I have to manually connect it. I can do the same with my Iphone and the connection will stay on all day.
Thanks for any tips anyone may have.
Not too sure if this is relevant, but I have been having a similar problem with my Bluetooth but with a different device. I connect up to a BT keyboard (apple), but I get disconnected after a minute or two. Looks like we might have a problem with our BT.
I finally exchanged mine thinking it might be a hardware problem but the new one does the same thing. It annoying as hell!
I have a Verizon s4 running 4.3 (all ota updates, nothing custom), my bluetooth connectivity seems to have suddenly gone...awry. When I connect any bluetooth headset (I have tried with multiple) the phone will register it connecting to phone and media controls. I have it set to automatically start music playback when this occurs, and while this worked before, it spontaneously changed. Instead of playing through the headset, music now plays through the earpiece speaker and the volume buttons control phone audio rather than media (note, audio will still be transmitted out through a jack, but again the buttons will not control media volume). The headsets themselves are fully functional as they still control call functions and voice search, but no longer toggle audio, let alone control playback. This effect continues even after the headset disconnects until the phone is rebooted.
The only thing I can think of having caused this is that I recently downloaded the pebble companion app (I wanted to test it out to see what its like before I decided to buy the thing or not), and the issue started after that. I uninstalled the app and rebooted/removed battery, but still the same issue. Is there any way to fix this other than a full system reboot? I'd really rather avoid that if I can help it.
I appreciate any feedback on this issue, thanks in advance!
I have exactly the same problem, I thought I was crazy or did something stupid! I thought it had to do with my root modifications until I completely wiped it out with an odin restore and redid only the root and SuperSU and it still had the issue. I used to have it stream bluetooth audio to my car and for some reason it once I started playing music and I thought it was really quiet even for my phone speaker until I noticed it coming out of the earpiece as well. I've run out of ideas as far as fixing it at this point though I'm still trying things.
my Bluetooth connection is having the same issue across several LP roms (crDroid and Paranoid Android). When i connect my phone to the car everything works fine until i restart my car. Normally when i restart the car, the Bluetooth automatically reconnects and the audio resumes from where it left off, but all of the LP roms are causing the audio to come out of the phone and not my car speakers. The app is functioning properly, as in i can change stations and pause and play, but the audio comes out of the device. if i restart my phone it will fix it but it gets really aggravating having to restart my phone every time i get out of the car for a second. Has anyone had this problem and does anyone know of a fix?
So I have a Ford Edge with a bluetooth receiver where I can play music, as well as some headphones, and I'm having intermittent issues when using this type of playback. The issue doesn't occur with my partner's Note 5, does anybody have any issues with stereo bluetooth? I'm close to writing to LG about it so they can log with (possibly) other reports for the same issue.

Just today i had issues with mine, i have one the parrot devices on my car and it picks up my iphone right away but i tried for about 2 minutes to play music from my v10 and it wouldn't connect to it, someones it connect right away its very off and on. I didn't try to unpair it and re-pair it though.
Am I reading that right, are both BT devices trying to connect at the same time? If so I had sorta the same problem in my Audi. I sometimes had to toggle Bluetooth on and off to get it to reconnect. But what I did was go into the Bluetooth settings for each device and specifically select the profile I want to use for that device. So for Audi MMI, which handles the phone calls, I selected the profile "Call Audio" only. Then for my headphones I selected the "Media Audio" profile only. I just figured that if two BT devices are fighting for the same profile only one is going to win it. And it seemed like it was a toss up which one got the call or media profile first.

No, you are not . However, allow me to clarify that the devices I mentioned are having issues on their own when using the V10. One incident is with my car's stereo, if I'm lucky, the audio will hold or it will decide to be a douche and start getting choppy with 1 second gaps.
Also, I'm noticing with the WiFi that my signal is horrible, but my partner's Note5 is perfect and super quick. I really really like this phone, but these issues are a bit annoying.
I have problems with my car stereo too. When I get in the car, it will connect automatically and start playing like normal but only for a minute or two. Then bluetooth will disconnect. So, I turn bluetooth off and on and, it will stay connected after that.
I also have a bose bluetooth speaker which doesnt have any problems.
I just found this thread after posting to the rom thread I am using...
I am having a minor annoyance with Bluetooth and media streaming.
When the phone auto pairs to my cars stereo head unit (Kenwood KDC-BT762HD), system sounds/calls etc come through the car fine, but not Media like music, videos etc.
Phones says it is paired to Media and the head unit does show the song info and I can control the app via hardware buttons on the unit, the phone acts as if it is playing, but no sound is heard. I have to turn bluetooth off then on or re-pair and then it works fine. I thought it was just the music app I use, but its any apps that play media like music or videos, including Pandora and Youtube.
I have 4 varying bluetooth headphones and they auto- reconnect to the phone just fine with no issues.
Anyone else having a an issue like this with any of their car stereos? My G3 never did this.
Known issue

This is a fairly known issue to specific cars.
check here http://forums.androidcentral.com/lg-v10/664713-lg-v10-bluetooth-audio-not-working-2.html
Also, I have a gmc canyon 2015. I have the same issue. I stopped using my car's bluetooth , I now only use aux cable. Amazing in 2016 and I still have to use aux cable. I am looking to moving to one plus 3 because of this issue. marshmallow also brought gps bugs on top of the bluetooth one.

I don't think its a MM issue or a vehicle specific issue (and i have an aftermarket stereo head unit) I have not had this issue with any of my other MM (or LP)devices I have tried with the radio. I have a spare LG G3 and a Moto X Pure that is running MM that is running MM and many of the mods and same apps I use on my G3 and now V10, again, no BT issues.
I am not having any disconnect or not pairing issues at all....just the odd thing that the media sounds don't work unless i disconnect/then connect the phone to the head unit when I get back into the car and power up and it auto pairs.
My folks have a much more serious issue with their 2015 Ford Escape and Ford Sync and their Samsung S4's they both have. Phone pairs and works fine once, but then the mic acts like its muted, no one can hear u, even if u un-pair the phone from the car, the phone itslef no longer outputs sound at all. You have to reboot the phone in order to get it to work again. It did it when the phones were on Android L and still after the MM update. Web search finds many folks with same issues in regards to that issue. (which is not the issue i am having at all, infact, their phones work fine on my car).
I found a work around for my issue. Since i simply just needed to disconnect and reconnect the BT to my car's head unit, found a widget that does just that. A2DP Connect2. Car auto pairs, i tap widget once, disconnects, wait a few sec, tap again, connects, my media streaming now works fine.
Still a annoyance, but much better than having to navigate menus and such.
BT issues fixed with update to 20j.
I can confirm that the annoying Bluetooth media stream issue in 20e, where you had to re-connect the phone or no media stream....is fixed in 20j. Auto connect works perfectly every time now on my Kenwood head unit.
Hi, I've been connecting my mate 10 .128 to the car, audio works fine, calls are working fine, only issue i have is that I'm unable to control the tracks from the car. I have to manually do it in the phone. Is this a software issue? Can anyone help?
I have the same issue with a pair of Sony on ear headphones with controls built in. Volume works but nothing else does.
Same here. I have 2 cars, one of them is a Sony deck and I'm able to control the tracks and display the track information just fine. My other car has a Kenwood deck, it doesn't display the track information and I'm not able to control the tracks with the stereo. Also, both decks have bad Bluetooth audio quality compared to other phones I've used in the past. Huawei really needs to address the Bluetooth issues. If I knew how bad it was, I might second guess my purchase.
Same problem here, it happens in my personal car and with my plantronics Bluetooth headset, in my job car music is not even streaming... I've contacted huawei support and they told me to factory reset my phone, I've not tried it yet

Try clearing the cache and app data of the Bluetooth system app.

Done, it bugged and didn't turned on Bluetooth at first, then it started and music started playing on my job's car, then suddenly stopped playing from car speakers but from the phone ones but still controllable from car's touchscreen... Set Bluetooth off/on again and now it seems to work nicely but for how long? It's pretty buggy in my opinion!

I agree, it's the worst part of this phone. Don't be surprised if you have to clear cache and data everytime you need to connect Bluetooth.
i had exact the same problems with two different car audio systems.
solution:
i deleted all BT devices on my car navigation AND on my phone. i also cleared the cache of the bluetooth system app. after that i paired my mate 10 pro with my car again. that's it...no problems anymore (since 3 weeks).
users with other phone brands reported the same problems and similar solutions. so i think it's a generic oreo-problem.
