Is there any App that compatible with Dell streak in call recording for both sides?
Like in evo4g
I use google voice. I forward the google voice number to my cell phone. It only will record incoming calls. Once you recieve a call from someone who is forwarded through google voice, you hit 4 on the keypad and the call starts recording.
Needs some call recorder too.
Can't wait for google voice to come to the uk

Is there specific option?
There is a great app works great only in outgoing call it doesn't only incoming calls
app = Ultimate Voice Recorder it been removed from the market now
I use total recall (Market App)... Works perfect.

Im using sanity with the default settings and it works fine.

I wanted to try total recall call recorder, but it doesn't show up in the market because the market thinks it isn't compatible with my device (dell streak 2.2.2) even though the description lists the streak as compatible.
I have just installed and tested sanity, with the source set to 'Phone Call', and it seems to work correctly. In that mode the other side of the call if anything is recorded better than my side of the call.
I'm going to see if I can get total recall working before paying for sanity though because I like the autobackup to your gmail account that total recall has.
May I ask which record strategy are you using in total recall?
MIUI 2.4.20 has built in call recorder. It works well.

Its part of rom. Recording option available from the phone UI during a call by default. No need to open any app. To find recordings open system app sound recorder (part of rom).
Trust this helps.

I have seen voice/call recorder app in market but either they just don't work, can recorder my voice only, or I have to put call on speaker to record both sides.
I am coming from Symbian and there were many reliable apps for that.
Is there a single reliable Android app for call recording? I don't mind automatic or manual.
thank you
+1 here... I'm also coming from N82 with Ultimate voice recorder
I just tested Recoroid yesterday and it worked.

Thank you but I was looking for something free and Recoroid is not free. Unless there is place I can download free version?
and it doesn't seem to have any good feedback anyway!

Some Streak users here report issues with Skype. With my Streak it just force closes all the time, cannot even make a call.
hope 2.2 everything will be fine

My friend reported yesterday, that the update for Skype was available. It seems now Skype works okay at least for messaging...
Been using the updated skype on my Streak. I can finally send messages, and make and recieve calls without it force-closing. The only issue I have is that anyone I'm skyping with hears a massive echo when I use my headset.
Hello,
does anybody know if Skype video calling will available on dell streak??
Is there a way to get vvm working? I get bootloops and loss of haptic buttons once restored from TB. Have to reinstall rom after to regain button functionality. Yes, I included the service too. Tried w&w/o data.

I've been wondering about this too. I've got about 25 saved voicemails that are a ***** to go through over the phone.
How difficult is it to port your number over to g voice?

Super easy install gapps.zip or grab it from goggle and the first time you open the app it gives you a phone number to call...it beeps a couple times and hangs up and then a menu pops up to guide you through so other basic setup questions...literally takes about three minutes

I bought g2 the next day it came out, and did not know this vutalk feature existed until yesterday while playing around with both of my and my girlfriend's g2.
Now we doodle around with this thing whenever we get a chance and me like it ;p
But the sad thing is i dont have any other people on my contact list that i can vutalk with except my girlfriend...
Anyone use this at all?

I would check it out but I don't know anyone else who has VuTalk. I think it is LG's version of Apple FaceTime. Right?

It gives you the ability to draw stuff you can share with the person you're talking to. I've personally disabled it, as it uses some RAM

To disable it (and you can do this without root) go into settings - general - apps - all and scroll all the way down to the bottom. You will find vutalk there. Press on it and disable it. And yes it will remain disabled even after reboot.

We are getting off-topic...but, i'll answer
Viber needs only a few KB/s (or MBs for calls) . Other apps need more ( i don't use and don't know about what's up)
It doesn't need an account. (for hangouts you need to have your friends gmail / fb needs ...fb accounts )
And you can do some funny staff. Draw/emoticons/sound clip
Is there any ROM or any app or anything whatsoever that is WORKING to record BOTH SIDES of call?
Thanks for your help!

Records both ways? Doesn't need to be in speaker phone or anything? Is there any settings I need to change? Sorry for all the questions I just want a working one and If I have to buy it I will but I need to be sure first.
There is a few version to trial. Take it for a spin and assess is functionality for yourself then if it works as well as you'd like. . Then buy if you prefer. Works fine for me on stock settings

But it does record both sides of call right?
Yes. .. Yes .. That's what I mean when I say it works fine for me. If it didn't record both sides. .. It would be essentially useless in my opinion.

Try to change the format of audio file of call recording saves...
If you are rooted Wanam xposed has that option. I'm not 100% sure if it works.

The thing is I am running CM ROM.. which is Kit Kat 4.2... I think that is why it isn't working for me.
Check out "RMC: Android Call Recorder"
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.record.my.call Make sure in tweaks you change source to phone call and audio format to wav for best quality. Works on stock rooted mj4.
I use Wanam module for Xposed. There is an option for call recording. However, it's not automatic. While in a call you have to hit MENU then select call record. Saves the files to Voice Recorder app location. It records both sides of the call perfectly
