[Q] Would I lose my App2SD if I upgrade? - Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini

Hello,
I love this community It helped me get the best out of my X10 mini pro.
I worked hard till I got App2SD work on my phone, and now I'm getting a notification for a new upgrade to be done using my computer. So would I lose the App2SD customization? And what about the Apps and other data?

You will lose everything in internal mem.so make a data backup before you do the update.

Back-up app?

I am new to this android world, but I love it. I recently did the no PC needed root (which is working great) and the lag fix (2200 quadrant score).
I was wondering what is a good app to use to back-up my Vibrant? Also, will rooting stop me from being able to getting Froyo?
Thanks for the answers!

Help. No Sim Card message

Help. I seen to have managed to stop my x10 mini from seeing the Sim card. I was trying a code I found from Orange claiming to get account info. #123#. The phone beeped and now I get a "no Sim card" message. I there any way of fixing it? The Sim is ok in other phones and no Sim works in my Mini.

If I were you, I would repair my device with Sony Ericsson Companion. This is the best way I know, but first backup everything! (apps, contacts, etc. Use Titanium Backup)
I don't know exactly what were you trying to do or what is done, but I believe that this will fix all problems! Good luck and try some custom roms!

[Q] Help would be good...

Hii i just purchased the LG optimus G E970 and i was wondering that how do u move Apps and games to sd card in it??
i have the 4.0 android version...
Welcome and congratulations on your new top of the line device. To move apps around you can use a program called apps 2 SD. Or better yet rom toolbox. It let's you configure shlt on your phone precisely although you need to be rooted.

You're out of luck without root.

To root your phone look for an app called 'Framaroot' here on XDA.
Try the options in the app, one of them will root the phone! :good:
If you do root your phone DO NOT REMOVE BLOATWARE WITHOUT UNLOCKING BOOTLOADER, otherwise you will get security error softbrick and need to restore with lgnpst program.

Which app you use for Backup and Restore?

Hey all,
I have been planning and preparing to root my phone for the past couple of days.
Now I need to know which app works best for backing up your app data and then restore it.. There is no problem for me if the app requires root since I am going to do that..
Also is it possible to restore the Lollipop app data backup on kitkat rom..
Regards

Titanium Backup. Using it for years and works great. Can be used on multiple versions of android. If the app isn't compatible with the new os it won't restore (will work forever).
