this is extracted from stock froyo rom - P500
move the content of the zip to the system folder exactly as it is there in the zip...
then change the permission of the aime.apk file so that it can be initialized...and then reboot
the user defined dictionary is not functional (don't know why)

I'd developed a pack of scripts who help to :
root (X10Mini methode)
Batch install (put all APK in a directory, my script will install all)
Clean (delete some constructor's packages)
Install a Theme (same method than my batch install)
Install a Boot Screen (same method than my batch install)
Its really good for 026 users... (un secured shell)..
It's in french, if you are interested, i'll translate it..
Install Theme and BootScreen is very easyer with my method...
WHo understood french see my work here :
http://forum.frandroid.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=21558
A translation will of course be of interest.
Most of us here at XDA-dev aren't of french origin.
i Know, but if it interest only a few (0-10) i don't want to loose my time..
If it look insterest many, i'll do it ...
Translate the script is fast... but it's longer for my Tutorial...
translate !^^
use google chrome it can translate it for us.., works awesome for me
i'll try to release a tranlated version in 1 or 2 days...
I hope i'll have more feedback than the french forum..
I'll try to test your "Theme install" script tonight or tomorrow.
Which theme did you use to test?

NONE, it's just for the install...
You fill the apps APK theme in a folder (pop up)
The framework in an other folder (2d pop up)
continue the script... it push all APK to SD (in// it generate a shell script )
it launch a adb shell
you MUST to type all my script said... (4-5 lines)
wait a moment, your X10 will reboot... with the new theme..
if you want to test it, you must to at less le step 0_.. there adb in a directory where my other script come to check adb...
it to decompress on drive C:\

(assuming that /system can be mounted as folder)?
Which files/folders have this information?

+1
1- extract the Framework-res.apk
2- decompile the " framework-res.apk "
3- goto decompiled folder and check this folders.
for example:
framework-res.apk/res
/values-en-rAU
/values-de
/values-it
/values-pl
/values-nl
/Values-GB
/Values-Fa
/Values-Ar
, for example when you add " Values-Fa " to framework-res.apk, the Farsi language will add to locale settings.
if you add "values-it" , the Italian language will add to system and so on.
all languages are defined on android, you need just to create right folders.
this is for system language.
-------------------
for every application you need to create the folder same as framework-res.apk folders, and translate "Strings.xml" file.
every application have a different parameters, and you must know for keyboards some information will defines on lib files.
thanks, now i got it.
but what does it mean if this 3 system files have different sets of languages :
framework-res.apk
twframework-res.apk
Settings.apk
first file will be most accurate source ?

Use the file-explorer in root-mode (If it doesn't have root-access you can change that in the settings) and copy the .apk into the system/app folder and set permissions to 644 (xx-x--x--)

Hi
I want to bring you the fix permission script , t exactly same as the one in cwm/twrp ! The whole codes are written by cwm and cyanogen mod developers . I did some changes and modification to make it run on android enviroment .
How to use ?
You have two ways to use this script :
1- Using Script Manager :
Just change it names from fp.txt to fp.sh and run it in root mode
2- Using terminal emulator :
rename it to fp.sh . move it to /system/bin . change permissions to rwxrwxrwx ( 777 ) . open terminal and type :
Code:
su
fp.sh

It shall be done via kernel re-compilation from sources, ramdisk tweak and build.prop entry. This is the only way till now. As I can tell, there's also a feature in "wanam exposed" - security but I don't think it will work (still in beta). So, watch for a "custom touchwiz kernel" in Android Development section....
EDIT: or flash Eudemony ROM

Insecure Stock Kernel with Init.d Support"

try this content as init.d script; I have-it on a rooted tablet (not alpha) and it works. name of the script - 01disable_selinux.
Before trying, please be sure (mandatory) that:
- the paths for the files are correct (/sys/fs/selinux/enforce) - (I have-it on my unrooted Alpha)
- busybox is installed in /system/xbin
- 01disable_selinux file must be created in Notepad++ ( UNIX Mode)
- proper init.d permissions are applied
- you use a "SELinux disable" Kernel
#!/system/bin/sh
/system/xbin/busybox chmod 777 /sys/fs/selinux/enforce
/system/xbin/echo "0" > /sys/fs/selinux/enforce
Attached you'll find my init.d script (pls remove .txt extension); if you agree with the content  just put it in your init.d folder and set proper permission for it (777). Reboot & report back.

Hi, I did your advice but do not work. 00test init.d ok, 01disable_selinux not work, "getenforce" always "enforcing". I wait a good person makes a kernel with SELinux permissive and KNOX desactived. Thank you very much for your advice and excuse me for my english.
