Whichever you like better, the default is 120. Changing it to 110 will make things
smaller as if you have increased the resolution of the display.

set 110 and installed. Didn't really see any improvement, and the cache settings didn't change. Icons got a little smaller and some text in menus looked slightly cut off. Restored untweaked rc 2 for now.

You didn't see any improvement? I never said that you will see your device faster, just SD, and wifi, and no cache settings, on cyanogenmod menu, but on system it's changed, so if you dont like it dont use it, but if you dont really know if something is working, dont talk about that

What do you mean?, this tweak don't include overclock, so you dont need to change overclock, put it like it is stable for you

I don't know about you, and but the new market looks good but is very slow. I downloaded an app and it started downloading half an hour later.
I'm sure if you want it you can find it in themes and apps section as many people still prefer old market.
Cheers alzbac!

Attitude, buddy.
Its a ROM with three different launchers (and others)
He is a developer/cook, and he deserves the same respect you pay for, lets say Zdzihu.
You cannot ask him very ironic (sarcastic) questions and expect answers, seems to me that you aren't very respectful of him.

Just saying. He claimed to have 'sorted' the ARC Rom, turned out it wasn't Arc Rom at all. Was X10i 2.3.3 ROM. Well basically rebadged wolfbrekas ROM.

I understand but did you actually use it?
No offense, but we need to appreciate any form of development available.
The more we get, the better we are, isn't it?
By the looks of it, he wholly edited the framework, and buttons e.tc, so even if it is a 'copy', which is most likely not-- it has a reason to be legit.
hey!!!

[test] ui gpu acceleration

Hi guys, i was watching Arc's forum and i found an interesting flashable zip for improve arc's performances and stabily; Here the link to the original thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1249387
When i saw "Render UI with GPU", i was surprised cause i know that gingerbread does not support GPU acceleration. So, i took a look at the content of the package and i found an interesting line added in build.prop:
video.accelerate.hw=1
So, I tried to add this line to my build.prop (wolf v5 rom) and after reboot seems that my touch responsiveness is changed..touch quality is not better but seems that scrolling speed is increased!! Maybe it is just a placebo effect but i notice some improvment expecially in:
-SE home menu scrolling
-SE home widgets overview (try to shake the phone and watch widgets movement)
So..Seems very strange that a so simple modify can be increase performance and nobody here ( great devs and modder) find it yet!! So this is just a test..so who want can try and report if this tweak work or not!!
Procedure:
-Open your build.prop with an explorer (rot explorer for ex.) (root required)
-Add this line:
video.accelerate.hw=1
-Save and close
-Reboot
Let's know me what do you think.
All credits and thanks to W1000i that share this files in Arc forum
Cheers
Francesco
Its already included in my ROM So i found it^^
I put that line in my build.prop and see no difference.
This tweak did the job in removing homescreen lag in Erenz's MIUI
Thanks for sharing!

Is there anything not included in your rom?
Do I insert that line at the bottom of the build prop.
Because mine last line = ro.ril.disable.power.collapse=1
Can I put it under there?

That only works after honeycomb....
any effect is placebo
I feel like it actually work.. scrolling was never so smooth.. maybe a little difference but that line certainly really does something..
Thank you for the tweak/tip will give it a try...
I did some research, the os has to support it and it was implemented in honeycomb
Thank you for sharing this djkekko89, Im using EWJet's rom and notice everything seems much more responsive, screen transitions are quicker, pinch-zooming in the browser seems much smoother and so on.

Yes mate..i know that..infact i wrote that in the OP..honeycomb are the first android version that use RenderScript to accelerate the UI..so this is the reason why this is only a test..we must figure out if there are really improves or not..anyway i'm searching in other forum and seems that other devs/modder are using this tweak..thanks to all for testing!

Low-end device support may take a very long time to implement as Themer uses a lot of resources to perform its tasks.
