Ultimate Online Theme Kitchen works for ATRIX, with the following understanding:
Kitchen originally was build for HTC Desire, but now it supports most devices with Android OS.
Kitchen takes files from your rom (such as framework-res.apk) and adds modifications you choose.
It works for most custom deodexed roms: Froyo (2.2) and Gingerbead (2.3).
Do not use kitchen with stock odexed roms (if you have .odex files in your rom - kitchen is not for you)
Ultimate Online Kitchen Disclaimer --------> copy and pasted from [MOD][04/12] UOT Kitchen (Ultimate Online Theme Kitchen) version 4.0 thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=12049824&postcount=3
It took a lot of effort and time from us to make this kitchen and it takes a lot more to maintain it .Users should realise this and appreciate the work done.
Bugs and errors (except decompiling error) will be tried to solve but we need the code you receive back when you upload your file. backups of the same will be kept for 12 hours. so if you have an error respond within that time
We are not responsible for any damage that occurs to your device by the use of the themes created here though if such an unfortunate event occurs do tell us we'll be happy to help
There is a lot more to come in the near future like changing the status bar, icons, notification screen, the popups etc etc.
Suggestions are welcomed for future releases.

I am not the creator of the Ultimate Online Kitchen. I'm merely posting it's availability. And after days of answering posts regarding it's flaws, I'm regretting doing so. So please do not attempt unless you are willing to restore your phone, in the unfortunate event, it gets whorked up. There have been successes and a few failures. As any mod to your phone from it's stock state, you and you alone accept the risk.
That's very cool, thanks for this, will be a big help.

No problem. It's been pretty busy today. Night hours get compiled quicker. I was shocked it worked. I'm just not down with all the Gingerbread green. I need color.
Good luck. Any questions just ask. I've banged out about 8 so far trying to find my style.
This isnt working for me
Do you think I can flash this over Gladiatrix? I REALLY wanna try this
Ive been using this to rip icons from. you can use the battery icons if you change the names of a few inside the drawable-hdpi folder. its set up for 100 image for the charge animation but the atrix only uses the first six. so you have to change the names of 20, 40, 60, 80, and 100 to 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. 0 is already correctly named.
Its funny I just pmed you about this lol This seriously is one bad ass thing to do with your phone! I love it! Just for the cool battery mods alone! You know how many people in the forum were trying to figure out how to get a percentage up there?? Alot! This does that and alot more! I've got a cool little android dude as my battery status icon now!!

@Dicksteele You might wanna correct that one statement? as long as you click the generate preview button with the custom battery icon you choose. it does work! If you dont generate the preview then it will be in the red. I have one working on my atrix right now.
I'm very interested in this, but want to see what people have done with their Atrix so far.... post some screen shots of your ATRIX (I've seen the ones for the Desire already from the link)!
heres what ive pieced together so far. renamed the charging icons like i said earlier so they display correctly.

So basically the Atrix still won't be able to use the battery mod to do 1% battery indication on the right side of the notification bar, just in the increments you listed? This isn't worth the exclamation given out here if it isn't anything more than putting a simple percentage in the notification bar, we want 1% data on the right side!
I know you weren't the one to think this is the greatest thing since sliced bread, but man, I read too far into this and thought I would be able to get real battery stats from this.... oh well, still have to wait for the bootloader to be unlocked in able to do it I guess.....

Too cool !! I'll give it a shot. Just created another one. I'll try with custom battery next shot. Site is running kinda slow today.
And I second the post that it'll work over GladAtrix. Just did it also.
Custom battery mod
I don't think I suggested that I had solved the holy grail of 1% increments.
If so, I apologize. Personally I have more important things to worry about in my life that what percentage my battery is at down to the nat's ass. If I'm at 80% still after 17 hrs, I'm good.
Very cool, gonna give this a try in a bit, if all goes well...I think i might be using it often...great find! Thanks!

LOL nats ass! Alright so maybe I may have made a post in the battery mod thread about how this is better then all the others! LOL How was I to know it skipped a few or 10 numbers in between when the battery is decreasing Its still cool and will interest others. Who are not worried about "nats asses" so to speak like GarciaM25!
On a serious note: so when the battery indicator drops from 100 to 90 is that actually a 1 percent decrease or did it really lose 10 percent of the battery? Cause if so I lost 10 percent in about 10-15 minutes!!
well, you might have just went from 95% to 94.9%.. thats the problem with the 10% increments, you just never know
Works Great!
I can also confirm that this works pretty good...there is only a slight issue, the date shown in the notification header interferes with my custom header text...does anyone know how to remove the date completely or at least edit it to display in another color?
Otherwise, great find once again! I'm really liking the windows animation, transitions are smooth!
Edit:
I think the OP should make it clear that "edify scripting" does not work at the moment with the current version of Tenfar's CWM Recovery..."amend scripting" does work however.
I've used jrummys root tools and another app called anim mod to change transitions and other small things so i guess what I'm wondering is there a way to get a black status bar on a bell atrix... and if there is adb involved is it Macintosh compatible. Until now I've hid the ugly thing.. its the only thing I'm not happy with on this phone.
Sent from my Xoom using XDA App
It seems the only requirent for this to work is to be rooted and deodexed...of course you must have tenfar's cwm recovery installed also, there's no adb involved if you use cwm...should work fine on a bell atrix...

The battery indicator does not work for me. The battery is at 97% and it still shows 100% :-(

Thanks for the info
I forgot to add that the charging animation is a spinning effect, I thought it went with the whole Tron disc thing. I might end up putting in a inner circle spinning the other way and get rid of the plug. Scope creep wewt!
Well I flashed axura cause its usually snappier than nero for me. Then I decided to go ahead and try to port the theme to axura. I thought this was pretty hilarious so I thought I would share.
It's definitely going to take some xml work which I have no idea how to do other than I have to decompile the apk somehow.

None of that should require xml edits. Are you sure all your pngs got transfered properly? In fact, I'm pretty sure you should be able to directly your DialerTabActivity.apk from nero5 to axura2.2.7.1. Prior to 2.2.7, they were different, but now it seems like they're using the same one.

Well the first thing I did was transfer everything over from what I modified, the dialer looked ok but the background(behind the buttons) was still axura's background and I couldn't find anything I thought it would be.
That is when I did something crazy, I transferred all of the xml's from blackfroyo that had button background in the name and put those in the update.zip. The result of that is what you see above.
The xml edit thing was referring to the clock on the notification bar that I was glancing at when I wrote that. Not to mention the notification background didn't change, and the rom doesn't have the accurate battery mod.

The date is actually in the services.jar. I can help you with the smali editing if you need, but Master actually posted a selection of date colors you can just d/l in This Thread.
Notification background is actually backwards in axura (don't ask me why). It's status_bar_background.9.png instead of statusbar_background.9.png
Accurate battery....ya, not sure why he left that out. You can either learn to xml edit, or use my framework when I get a chance to finish up my port.

The only time I've had this happen was when I installed Nero5, ka6, and then this theme all in a row without rebooting. I bet if you look in root explorer at your system/app folder the app will be in there.
Is this what you did? Otherwise you could just have a bad download or flash.

So here it is... the latest update for SenseBionix for TeamWhiskey's latest public rom Bionix NextGen 2.
Remember!
Backup your device and flash by Clockwork Recovery.
I am not responsible for undesired results!!! Use at your own risk!!!
Download by clicking the disclaimer:
"I accept the fact that if I do not know what I am doing or how to apply this theme modification then I will research first before asking any questions and will in no way shape or form hold anyone with the exception of myself liable for any damages that which may occur. I understand that I should do a backup prior to clicking and downloading any links and files within this post. I also understand that I am chosing on my own will to continue at my own risk."
IF you get caught in a bootloop then flash this file from recovery:
NG2SuperRevert2Stock.zip
It's the same concept as in the first post but with more apps and files pulled direct from the latest rom itself.
It might be wise to download everything first then start flashing. After making your backups of course.

For the noobs:
Trouble? Bootloop? Force closes? Hope you made backups! Because this is where you'll need them. Until I can figure out what is causing it here is a workaround:
BACKUP YOUR DATA! (In case you haven't done so already)
Download this NG2Revert2Stock.zip file and flash it. Then boot and you should be back to stock Bionix NextGen 2. Then try the theme again.
Still didn't work? Download Bionix NextGen 1 again and let it boot and make sure it's stable. YOU MAY LOSE YOUR DATA!
Reboot back into recovery and install the theme like before.
Let it boot and make sure it's stable.
Restore your backups from Titanium or MyBackup Pro OR you can do it the easy way by doing Advanced Restore through recovery and restore Data (doesn't always work though).
Allow it to boot and you should be good to go!

I know that some are off. I have the icons but unfortunately I don't have 125+ of them. LOL! Not sure about CM7 but Bionix has 125+ png files just for the battery for each battery level percentage. The 3G connection images are different than the link that you provided though. Back in the G1 days, I took the original images and I removed the black from it and made it transparent so I can always change the status bar background later without having to re-theme the connection images. And some of the icons are of course off because I only themed the browser, gallery3d and framework. So technically the browser is the only one with the Sense icon so far.

yeah Bionix has a battery mod with a percent by percent go down, you would really only have to modify the sys_battery and sys_battery_charging (I think those are right names).
Also Sense doesn't have zzzz so there are way more for the vibrant.
Also the signal icons arent stock, but everything else is sense.

I've never even tried Axura rom so I'll have to look at it.
If assuming it isn't too much different then it should be fairly simple to do.
Perhaps a metamorph would be more ideal?
In any case... this isn't anywhere near completed yet. As I said in my first post, this is just a proof of concept. If anyone is familiar with my Community Hero Mix, they would tell you that I put a lot of detail in the work. In fact, I actually like to theme right from the source using Ubuntu and GIMP. This way I can add xml edits and modify jar files as necessary for best results. However... that was based off Cyanogen's roms. I don't see myself going back to those roms for a while since they aren't 100% stable, efficiant and/or complete as of yet. Perhaps later though.
Back to the topic... I don't want to jump into supporting several different roms off the bat because I don't even know where this is going. To be honest, I made it for myself because I'm just not satisfied with the options available. Then I share my work with the community. That's all there is to it actually. If I get enough support, ideas and suggestions and this gets to the point where the popularity seems to be growing then I'll look into expanding to additional roms. I guess time will tell.
Binary100100, I used to love your themes on the G1, I'm glad to see you on the Vibrant forums.

Agreed. I hate the all black dialer! I just need to figure out what file(s) are needing the modifications.
Where is that from?

There really aren't any 'issues' at all. The battery is segmented so I can't really use the standard Sense UI battery images. So I used the ones from this thread: [MOD] Battery Mods because it was the closest I could get to the SenseUI stock images.
And you can't change the icons of other apps such as Camera, Calendar, SMS, Dialer, etc without adding those specific apps to the theme. I wanted to keep this below 8mb because that's the attachment limit. I could always use the Google Code service but I want to wait to see how popular this gets first. You gotta start somewhere, ya know?
Make a backup and give it a try. If you have suggestions for improvement then let me know here (please not by pm) and I'll give it some consideration. It also helps if you post references. If you want an icon that you found in a picture or something and you post the picture... great! It helps.... but it helps more if you can provide additional references such as to the dev so I can request usage of such modifications. Such as the previous post above. I like the look and feel of that dialer... but what theme is that from? Is it stock? I have no idea. You get the idea.
Just so you all know... the name of the theme "SenseBionix" was just a quick random name just so I can post this. It's almost definitely going to change. I would like to call it Community Hero Mix based off my previous work. But in order to call it that I think that I need to get the Community involved in it. Just a thought.
I came up with SenseBionix because it's ONLY for the latest Bionix rom and it has several bits and pieces of a SenseUI rom in it.
I did notice the button pushing distortion. I'll be trying to work on that if it bothers some of you. Not a big deal really. Just a matter of figuring out what button it is in framework and replacing it. I might play around with it some time next week since I work alot (5 days a week, 12 hours a day). And then I have my moderation duties. So with that in mind, you can see what I ask for help.
Binary: as a (slightly pain in the ass) work around for the battery issue, if you take the 5 or 6 stock battery images from Sense and just make a bunch of copies, renaming each one stat_sys_battery*, where * is 1-100, you can still use the original icons. For example I took the full battery icon (stat_sys_battery_100 or whatever) and copied it 5 times and used it for stat_sys_battery_95 through 100.
I worded this weird because I'm tired but that's what I did here.

I actually love you for making this. I was looking for something like this for ages, stock 2.3 but blue. Seriously man thanks!
The only things I might change would be the drop down arrow button in the settings (more like the stock one?) and maybe remove the logo from the bottom of the pulldown? Kinda spoils the super-clean look of the theme ^_^
I think changing the pulldown is a bigger "issue" for me, just looks a wee bit out of place I think :/
Just my opinion though, looks great Hope you keep supporting and developing this.

It would be freakin awesome if it was the stock theme! I have been looking for the stock theme for arc...but can't find it =) anybody has found something? Thanks for the great work!
Aaah man looks even more amazing now!
I know you might get sick of all my little silly suggestions BUT, I found this (similar) theme for the ZTE Blade (my old phone) and it has some resources in it you may find useful.
One thing that stood out is the battery meter glows like stock GB in this theme, but in yours it doesnt currently.
Anyway the framework is here, you have to unzip the file, find the framework in the system directory and extract it from there, sorry >.<

Edit: Oh also, is the drop down image you attached above different to the one in the OP? It looks nicer than the updated OP haha

I had a look at the .Zip file,
Yeah they have got a little but of a blur trouble is, in ZTE blade zip the battery icon jumps in 20% increments
Where the one we have now each percent has its own image file.
i know it does not use every icon on the phone, but might matter to the .xml and may cause bootloop. something i dont really want.
Also the drop down bottom bar i attached in the post, kept crashing the systemui.apk but i know why, so i might work on fixing that.
Its the annoying patch 9 image.
Want to try to get the arc to use all the battery icons for each % rather in jumps or 20% thats what im working on.
EDIT: i actually think it does use every 1% icons taking a look at the .xml files.
Thanks for the great build! I'm loving it!!!!
May I have one little request that is it possible to have the % battery icon included of your build? Thanks and I look forward to it, thanks!!!!!!

Thanks a lot! Just to confirm that .181 firmware can change all the apk/ framework without boot loop! Just follow the step and reboot!
I was going to wait until I was completely finished to release this but it seems a red theme is in high demand and with ICS leaks starting I didn't know how long until it would be outdated.
This is my first released theme for android so go easy on me. Another reason I'm posting this is to get some feedback from the community as to what they are looking for in a theme. I realize there are some things that could use polishing so let me know what you think. I'm open to feedback so long as it's constructive!

Tons of Framework images-new
SystemUI
Mail
Browser
Music
Contacts
Settings
MMS
Dialer
Camera
Flashlight
BootAnimation
ICS window animations
Roboto Font
Animated Notifications - (Turn off by setting notifications to transparent in mik settings )
Clock is not themed it is Beautiful Widgets "brackated_Red" skin
Rosie and a lot of other HTC things are not able to be themed at the moment. (to my knowledge anyways)
Bugs:
I have not come across any major flaws or bugs. But then again I don't use everything on the phone so please post with as much detail as possible of the location of bad icons and text strings if you find any.
To Do List:
Version v1.0 will more than likely be the final update.
As for porting this to ICS.... I"m going to wait until there is a official ICS release or as close to official as the devs can get
plus I need a little break this theme has consumed a lot of my time lately!!!!!
Download in 2nd post
I do have 2 small requests for anyone reading this or downloading this theme.
1) If you want to use or port this theme as your own ask me first. I spent a lot of time editing these images and want to know where it's going and that proper credit is given.
2) I recently realized the lack of real feedback in the android community. I see tons of mods and themes with over 1,000's of downloads and only 10 people where able to take the second to hit the thanks button. Also multiple apps on the market with millions of downloads and only 10,000 comments that's a pretty low percentage!! I hate to sound demanding but come on people!!!! It only takes seconds to do this and it's gives us themers, modders, and hackers something to go off of and keep doing what we do.
Lastly I wanted to give thanks to all the members of the various Android forums that wrote guides for people like me to learn stuff like this. With out the community I would not be able to do the things I'm learning to do. And also a quick thanks to UOT kitchen for the battery icons and the animated background. I hate making those crazy xmls lol.

Warning. Possible n00b question ahead (first smartphone so first time geeking out over my phone)...
Do you need root for this? I just grabbed a skin but it was an app I downloaded from the market. I've installed apps using adb before but based on the instructions it sounds like root is required.
I will be rooting but am studying up on Android OS and flashing ROMs/kernels before I do.
Also, once this is flashed, is it added to the skin/theme options on the phone so that it can be selected and deselected (blasphemy I know)? And is it all or nothing or can certain elements be changed, such as wallpaper or something like that.

Wait, you're a noob? You seem so seasoned in all your posts!
To answer your questions... yes you need to be rooted to flash this. This will not be a skin as it is a theme that you have to flash from recovery. It will not be added anywhere like the HTC skins. This will simply be applied to your phone. That means that you can continue to use that skin if you want to in order to add a little more to it. I'll be running this in a second and using one of the skins that was just released recently. And most of this should be all or nothing, in a sense. You will still be able to change things just like you could with the stock theme. Meaning that you will be able to change the wallpaper and stuff.
EDIT: You also need to realize that this is a theme for Ineffabilis. That means that you need to be running that ROM to use this theme. If you try to flash this theme on top of a different ROM or the stock ROM, you could have serious issues. Still can't get over that you're a noob haha
EDIT 2: You also don't need to use adb for this. You can just download it, put it on your sd card, boot into recovery, wipe your cache and dalvik, then select flash zip menu. You can then select it off your sd card. Much easier than doing it through adb, imo.
EDIT 3: Seriously, you're a noob????? Like, I hope you don't take this as an insult, but I just can't get over it. I consider you one of the select few who know what you're doing! I'm impressed

Haha, no problem. I am thoroughly impressed. If only more would read everything before posting I would definitely recommend Ineffabilis, though it will be dead soon. It is the best ROM right now, imo, but there will be better to come with the ICS leak out. I would suggest using that ROM for now, though. I like Ziggy's kernel, too, but others have had their issues with it. I've been running it since I rooted and haven't had an issue yet. (Well, it does bootloop when I'm charging it and it hits a full charge). But it's pretty stable for me. I'm flashing this theme right now, but I'll be using the Red Beats Skin on top of it.
Edit: This is to the OP... I didn't want to flash this because I thought it kind of looked meh in the pictures. Just flashed it and holy crap it's gorgeous! Big props and hope you keep adding themes for all the ICS ROMs.
Thanks wasabi! I'll try and to add some better screenshots tomorrow.

Yeah, the only thing I was still unsure of after flashing it was the font. I read too much on my phone and it was starting to bother me. I just installed the Roboto font, though, and I love it again You should make other colors like blue and green You know, if you have time haha
A very simple mod I threw together to replace the stock Sense 6 battery images with ones that have a numeric percentage embedded. This module will most likely only work on HTC devices running Sense 6 (m7, m8, etc), but might work on older devices running Sense 5/5.5 as HTC hasn't changed their battery image resource names in a while.

Remove any prior installs of Sense 6 Battery Percent
Make sure you have a working install of Xposed Framework (XposedBridge v61) and Xposed Installer v3.0 Alpha 1. If you have not figured out how to do this, please see the official Xposed for Lollipop thread
Install the Sense6BatteryPercent_v1.5.0.apk, but do not reboot yet
Once the notification of a new module has shown up, go to Xposed Installer->Modules and enable Sense 6 Battery Percent
Tap on the Sense 6 Battery Percent list entry to open the "preferences" activity. There aren't actually any preferences, but I'm using that activity to unpack the images
Tap on the Unpack and Hide Launcher button, which will unpack the battery images and hide this specific launcher
Go back to Xposed Installer->Framework and either pick Soft Reboot or Reboot
I had issues forwarding resources from my module's assets, so I worked around it by creating a scaled-down version of XSBM for just the battery images in this module. It seems to work ok, but definitely not the cleanest approach. If/when this gets resolved in the framework (or I figure out how to do it correctly), I'll rewrite this module. Also, I tested the module with SElinux both enforcing and permissive, and it seems to function regardless.
Hi is it possible to make the percentage size a bit bigger as i find it quite small and difficult to make out what it says?

Don't have the time to hand-edit 100+ images to change the font size. I use the BatteryIconMaker utility to do the numbers and battery background generation, and then combine them with ImageMagick scripts. It takes a few minutes this way, instead of hours/days the other way.
New version on OP has larger (and easier to read) numbers now.
Hey op thank you for this mod. I thought I was never gonna get to have percent stock battery on stock rom lol...also thanks for the update enlarging percentage. Anyway you could change the percent color to something besides black? Maybe grey. Reason is once any app is launched and battery is below certain percent and status bar is no longer transparent you can only see one of the two digits if that makes any sense lol. Made much better sense in my head

Hmm, that is a problem. I'll play around with the colors and see if I can come up with something that looks ok on both light and dark backgrounds.
Updated version on OP. Let me know if that helps with number visibility.
Bro thanks a lot but the text is too smallà if bigger then would be very nice! Also inverted batt would be good too!

Still too small? How high should the numbers be on the inside of the battery outline? Should they extend past the fill bar and into the gap?
Last attempt for the day at making the numbers more legible. OP updated.
Last version is perfection
Sent from my HTC One_M8
This is exactly what I was looking for. Just putting percentage numbers inside the stock battery.
Any chance you could just make the numbers an alpha knockout with a white outline instead of solid black? Solid black looks so harsh compared to the rest of the Sense 6 statusbar icon theme.
Here's a quick Photoshop sample of what I mean:

Not unless someone can provide me with all the battery images that are premade with the alpha knockout. I use the BatteryIconMaker utility to generate the numbers and background fill. It can't do what you're asking though.

If I make the custom images would you do it? Wouldn't take me too long to make them.

Does it need to be PNG-8 or can it be PNG-24?

It can be either.
