Has anyone got DSP Manager from CM7 to work? I'm using it on Overcome 2.0.0 (HC3.2). I'm just getting FCs
I tried on Task's roms. Same thing, FC's.
Have you tried Voodoo sound control?

You need to have a kernel that supports voodoo sound to use that.
Yes but pershoots is rock solid so why not try it? That or enjoy your "stock" sound!

The title not match with your request.
So do you want for ics or non ics? I can attach one.
The apk attached are from ICS cm9, working in ICS beta. Tested by me. Copy it to /system/app & give correct permission. Extract the lib file, copy it to /system/lib/soundfx. Then reboot your phone.

Will try thanks bro!
AOSP 4.0.3 ICS BETA FINAL FIX has working DSP Manager and a lot of other things.

Google have the answer !! Has nobody google in his region?? Damn !
GOOGLE IS GOD!
and by the way this didnt work and the dsp in AOSP beta rom dosent work either. i can defo confirm it not working as i have cm7 on my galaxy ace and i played the same song swaping from phone to phone and ace made sound change but neo did not...... its not a massive problem as my music app "Power Amp" has a built in EQ its just not quite as good as DSP.
I have the same problem.
I flashed a cwm patch of DSP manager which is "work on any ICS roms".
Well it still doesnt work.
DSP manager is a sound enhancing program which universally modifies your device's sound as set by you...it has equalizer, bass enhancer, reverb etc.
^yep i guess if we want dsp in ics we need cm9 from fxp.
Just download 'equalizer' from the Play Store. Works just the same as dsp manager.

Yeah i use poweramp which has built in eq but its not the same.
Equalizer from the market doesn't have preamp...and u will notice the volume becomes low if u change different frequencies..
Dsp manager enhances sound instead of lowering the volume...there is no match for it.

this version has worked for me with official 2.3.4 ver .62 unrooted >>> hope it will work with ics
^Thank You but im looking for a dsp for ICS not GB.
works fine in ICS!!! Thanks!!!

Hi,
I just switched to stock rom ( cause unstability sux ) and I really often listen to music. While I was using CM7 sound was better, not louder but bass was just better. When I played music on stock rom I realised that music plays more quite and doesn't have this bass punch, even Beats Port doesn't make sound as good as on CM7. Is it possible to have sound as great as on CM7?
Hmm. Try a 3rd party music player,

CM7 has additional libs for dspmanager a.k.a equalizer
Ace-ing all tests.

Flash beats audio. Works for stock too. Using it on Stocklite V6 and its working great.
I use PowerAmp, it has an equalizer and it sounds good.
Im already using beats audio and same config in poweramp as in CM7. Im afraid that nothing will help Also Im using StockLite

cause there's internal DSP pack in CM7
Hi all
Is it possible to install beats audio(or srs, just a better sound engine) on a stock based rom (like donut HD). I thought fera had a zip file with beats. But all his recent versions have it build in.
I really like donut, but it just misses the sound enhancement.
Greetzz

What's the solution? I'd like to know the answer as well!
Sorry for answering so late,
But you can use the ferasound.zip from one of his older roms.
After you flashed it you need to remove the sounenhancement app (if you are using an other music player than stock, or an other equalizer app)
There is a beats.zip on the forum as well, but that fera's is better.
If i need to reupload it, please ask

Im using Siyah kernel and I am looking to get the best audio from my S3 as I use it to listen to all my music. Can I use the loudness audio hack together with Siyah kernel, or will one cancel out the other? I have no other expectations, just looking to get best audio possible. Dont care about battery etc....any recommendations as to what are the best hacks, kernels or roms for audio?

I think (personally) that the boeffla sound is the best. There is a free boeffla sound app in play. You would need to flash the boeffla kernel or kernel that supports boeffla sound, if going to boeffla, try the latest 2.11 beta 7, it's rock solid

please post in the correct section
MegaBassBeats mod is all I need
Best kernel to use in my opinion is yanks kernel. It has tons of tweaks for sound and also includes boeffla sound inside aswell.
