I can get into Battery Mode, but once there, none of the selection indicators will turn green. They are all greyed out.
If i select Max battery saver or Nighttime saver, it will give me the pop-up Notice, but does not indicate a selection made.
If I select Performance mode, it just goes right back to the main settings menu.
I tried several battery pulls and no luck.

Hi,
i noticed that if i flag the energy saving option and set a value (for example 30%) for activation an icon appears on the taskbar telling me that the energy saving option is active, even if the battery is full charged, and it remains active.
Moreover when battery go under 30% the phone alerts me that the energy saving configuration will be set, and changes some phone settings like screen brightness and screen timreout values (15 seconds).
when the phone is in charge it alerts me that the energy saving confguration will be turned off BUT
- the icon still remains in the taskbar set as active
- the values set (brightness and screen timeout) remains the ones setted by energy saving and do not go back to the values chosen by me.
Anyone has the same problem?
Thank you
I don't know if that option/setting really does something but I have it on at 70% level. But as soon as I plug my AC charger in it says Power Saving Mode Suspended and turns back on when I unplug the charger. But as I set it to 70% battery level it doesn't bother me until the phone reaches 70% or less.
Regards.
i tried the star hash 0 star hash on dial pad, to bring up the test centre. I clicked on every box including dimmer and sleepmode to test it.
Now since then, every time i lock and unlock my phone, the brightness reverts back to some minumum setting. I can still change brightness when i long press the notification bar but it will always change back to the low setting. And i also cannot get into settings/display/brightness...its greyed out.
I have tried turning my phone on and off again
Help what did i do wrong
If your battery level is below 15% i think, the phone will disable the brightness control in the settings, greyed out, and will run at lowest brightness, until you charge the phone.
You can use the power control widget to adjust the brightness, but as soon as the phone goes to standby and you wake it up it will be back to minimum brightness again.
ok thanks, coincidence in timing when doing the lcd test and low battery..got me in a panic because I didn't have power saving mode enabled.
Yeah, it got me worried when it happened to me, as i was not using power saving as well, it`s a bit of a cheek to force low brightness when the battery is below 15% , the camera also does not work as well, great.
I'm bringing this up because I've noticed that as people ask about cell standby using the battery on WiFi only Flyers, this fix hasn't been mentioned as much. Sure, you can pull up the calculator, type in a code to get the tablet info screen and turn off the radio (or use AnyCut to make a shortcut to tablet info), but the radio is back on with the next boot. If you go into settings and choose "Power", you can untick and disable fast boot. Plug the Flyer in, let it fully charge to reset the battery stats, and cell standby doesn't show again in battery use. Ever.
This has been the fix I use, because it is persistent. When you power off and boot up again, the issue doesn't come back.
Can anyone explain how this works?
im curious what code put into the calculator to bring up the Tablet Info
In the calculator, enter: !+!+4636+!+!
and hit = .
Then, click "Turn off radio".
Or, just turn off fast boot, reboot, and let the battery charge and cell standby won't show in battery stats again.
Refer to the above matter, when I turn on power saving mode, my battery icon on status bar didn't change to icon that has lightning icon in it (like charging mode). the power saving itself seem like doesn't work.
when my battery level at 5%, my phone screen didn't deem the screen light.
I notice it when i uninstalling the Easy Battery Saver software.
When my phone on charging mode, the icon show correctly.
no rooting solution please. thanks in advance.
Was wondering if anyone has seen this or has any ideas on what to check.
Basically, the LED indicator on my S6E is blinking red every time I turn off the screen. I do not have any notifications and checked any app i can think of to check if there are any floating around. I then went through and disabled notifications one-by-one for each app and checked. No good. Then i reset all my app preferences and still no good. Tried restarting but that didn't help either.
Only thing that turns it off is turning off LED notifications all-together.
Any ideas?
Thanks

What's your battery level when this happens? Mine blinks red when the phone has low battery. Super annoying because it only uses more battery, but I can't turn it off.
well, think i figured it out. it's based on the power saving mode. i threw mine to 50% because why the hell not.
once you hit that power saving mode threshold, the you start getting the red blinking indicator. and the fun part is, if i'm at 40% but my threshold is at 50% BUT i have power saving mode off, it will still blink. so that threshold is active despite the current status of power saving mode.
and i agree. super annoying.

It works on my Sprint Galaxy S6 Edge if I turn off the LED Indicator all together it will stop the blinking, But I agree if you leave it on whether battery saver off or on it still blinks must be something in he OS code that makes it remind you that the battery is low. Kinda strange but for now I will just turn off the LED indicator.
Thanks again for your input it was very helpful.
