[APP] X8 Stock Chinese Keyboard - XPERIA X8 Themes and Apps

I've been seeing a lot of people asking about the stock keyboard of Xperia X8
well, here it is!
http://hotfile.com/dl/114428116/e75d76a/X8Chinese_Keyboard.rar.html
install it using Titanium Backup and paste it inside the folder in your sdcard.
then reboot, open titanium backup look for the Chinese keyboad app and restore.
hope you like it. enjoy!

thanks for this stock keyboard hehe

you're welcome!

thanks so much

welcome sir

just chinese or it have another languages too

Thanks, the best t9 keyboard imo.
But you don't really to do all that just to install this.
1. Extract the rar file
2. There will be 3 files. (1 porperties and 2 GZ)
3. Find this GZ file ---> com.cootek.touchpal-a45961d1e4c4d083c46f1cd670ac3cca.apk.GZ and extract it.
4. There will be a apk file for it. No need for tb.

There is english. This is the stock keyboard for the x8, what do you expect?

OR you can search the Market for TouchPal input of COOTEK. They are the dev of the stock Chinese input on the X8. The latest version is so much better than the stock one tho.

thanks a lot. i have been looking for this.

Wouldn't it be eaiser if you backed up all your stuff and flashed 1.6? It would give you all those keyboards.
Or you could find a 1.6 rom and just look through it till you found the keyboards

Swype for ICS 4.0

Hi, I'm using the MIUI v4 port I found here on XDA. Problem is, when I installed it I cannot use Swype, the install.apk crashes. Why is this?
I also wonder, if I can't get Swype, is there anyway to get more languages for input? I need Swedish letters.
There's ALOT of bugs with ICS at the moment buttt if you download "Android 2.3 Gingerbread Keyboard" here's some language packs.

Thank you for your reply! Yes I've noticed some bugs, the most annoying is that I cant mount storage, and therefore not remove the “Couldn’t install on USB storage or SD card” bug.
However, the link says it's for Galaxy S, will it work for Galaxy S2 or will I crash something if I try?
When I open the .apk it says "Application not installed - An existing pacakge by the same name with a conflicting signature is already installed."
Did you try installing the keyboard from the Market? If so it should work. Then download the swedish language pack (Direct Download: http://cloud.addictivetips.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/SVGingerBreadLatinIME.zip) put it on your /sdcard, flash it like normal and your alllllllll gooood!

I can't find the app called Gingerbread Keyboard on Market, and I guess Ice Cream Sandwich Keyboard is something else? Sorry for being stupid.
Your not being stupid its okay haha everyone was once a newbie. Let's make this easy for you, download go keyboard from the market, install it, then search swedish for go keyboard on the market, download, install, and your good to go!

Need Keyboard Zip

Hi All,
Can anyone provide me update.zip for changing keyboard. I am on MiniCM7 with nAa kernel. I need any keyboard or Sony Ericsson keyboard so that on-screen as well as physical keyboard should work fine. With android keyboard selected...one can not access special characters on physical keyboard with bottom right key named "Sym". Every time one has to change the default input for accessing symbols and special characters with physical keyboard.
There may be some thread regarding this but I am not able to get what to do.
Please help.
Thanks.

Needed things to make working original SE keyboard:
in /system/apps: textinput-tng.apk
in /system/libs: libXT9.so and maybe libtouchpal.so (not sure)
in /system/usr: xt9 folder what contains dictionary files (a lot of SEMC_????????_xt9.ldb file)
No need framework I'm on the road now, cant make .zip, but this is not hard, everybody can copy these files from SDE rom.

All credit to it's owner

[REQUEST] wt19i stock keyboard apk

can someone upload the stock ICS keyboard apk for wt19i??
i've flashed my phone with real ICS r5.2 and i love it.. but i dont like the keyboard..
i want to use old stock wt19i stock keyboard..
no one can help me??
up for
You can make a nandroid backup, flash the stock rom (in .ftf format) that has the keyboard that you are looking for (if you don't have it, look it up in XDA, I downloaded it some while ago), take the apk out of it and recover your nandroid backup (remember to change the kernel first to be able to enter into recovery).
I'd do it myself but I don't see a reason why you couldn't do it yourself, it's a fairly simple task
Let me know how it went :good:
