Is there a flashable cache2cache like the xtr one for froyo/Ginger but for 2.1 roms non xtr based?

I haven't seen one yet, except if you flash 2.1 Apps2SD then you can turn C2C on from there. I used to do that under Froyo before zach's flashable script.

Wouldn't happen to have a link to that, it's probably in roll up if not and can I use the c2c feature without partitioning

Second, no you don't have to use any of the other Apps2SD features that you don't want to including you don't have to partition.
First, here's where you can find the Apps2SD flashable file:
[Script][A2SD] Darktremor Apps2SD 2.7.5.3 Beta 02 (01/22/2011)

Thanks very much!

[Q] Wireless tether

Is this supported on CELB froyo with the stock kernal? Or the CFS kernel? I'm on CfS

Should work on either. If its not already in the rom then grab it from the market, but as long as your rooted it should work.

[Q] blinkertab - can someone port this for the vibrant?

is there any way we can get this kind of program going for the vibrant?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=830782
i already know about flash notify, but this would make great use of the light up capacitive touch buttons underneath the screen.
Flash a kernel with BLN support and search for BLN control in market

i flashed bionix v twiz w/ voodoo....does this have bln support? and if not, what good kernels are compatible with bionix v?
i don't really wanna flash a new rom until a stable GB one comes out
bionix doesn't include a bln kernel. keep an eye in the dead horse kernel thread in development. Eugene may have a final version in the next few days
Sent from my SGH-T959 using Tapatalk
I'm waiting for ttabbal's. Test version 1 is over in team whiskey forums and for testing purposes it's pretty solid. Voodoo ext4/sound/bln/oc/uv/color...ULF seems to cause problems for most.
Haha guys just use eugene new kernel, it has it and works perfectly
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
Does eugene's new kernel run bionix v?

And how's the battery life?

Eugene's dead horse kernel then search "blinky" in the market.
I'm kind of noob, how do I flash a kernel, and can I do out without interrupting my framework and apps on my bionix v rom?

Download the kernel, then flash over whatever your using. I flashed over voodoo no problem

I have the original bionix v, not 1.2. Does this matter? And do I flash it through odin? Or can I do it via cwm?

Doesn't matter as far as bionix... Flash through cwm. You can leave voodoo, I did. No problem since

ran into some problems...i flashed both test34 kernel by eugene(supports bln) and the kb1 modem.....lost all my apps, and data wipe.....first, had a boot loop problem, fixed, then came up with no application storage space....just recently fixed it, i think the lagfix interfered with something......but its working now.
and i use bnl control....i actually think that blinky was the problem.

Yeah, just had to redownload my apps....seems to run fine now.....let's hope that's the case.....
Plus, having to re download my apps lets me get some memory back...

How to root EA28?

Having trouble rooting EA28 for a friend. Tried super one click, adb, and z4, all do not work. Is there an odin package or maybe something I can flash through CWM (that can be installed at the least). We want to be able to run titanium backup BEFORE going to froyo, so flashing ahead isn't an option untill we gain root on stock EA28. Thanks for any help!!!

If you got to adroidcentral, there is an all in one pack for eb01 froyo that is prerooted and comes with cwr. It is used with odin and pushed through pda. Has sc 2.6 packed in as well. Then you can backup if you'd like.
Don't know if that's what your lookin for, but it avoids having to take more steps to get you to froyo.

I want to backup everything through titanium backup first, then go forward, that won't work just yet (next step though ) but thanks for that fast reply!

If you want to backup your apps, try app monster. Workes for unrooted phones. Then you can flashed and root reatore with app monster then test, reflash to unroot, then restore again with app monter. Not sure what your tryin to test tho...best of luck.

Wait. Lol thought I was in the other post! Lol you can still use apl monster to back up your apps, then flash froyo then restore

[Q] is it possible to have a 2.3 kernel that supports 2.2 and 2.2.1 roms?

Just wondering if a backwards compatible gb kernel is even possible.
Thanks!

no, but why would you want one?
So i could flash one, but still use a 2.2 rom until a more stable gb one is released...

what's wrong with froyo kernelsl? there are plenty of good ones...

Can you go back to a rom on cm7?

Can you?
Or do you have to go to stock.
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
You have to flash jfd first for 2 reasons. The first major one being how cwm for gingerbread recovery works, the roms here on xda for the vibrant don't use the new script type required.
The second is the way the partitions are. The cm7/miui uses mtd blocks while the vibrant uses bml blocks, they are not cross compatible.
