Do you guys think it would be better (faster) to save pictures to the internal storage and then move them to SD or save them to my 64Gb class 10 microSD card instead? I haven't have a chance to take a bunch yet, just got this thing. Was curious which would be faster or if it would even matter.
Then to copy them from the phone to a computer. Would it matter speed wise which storage memory they were residing on?
Taking pictures, this thing is AWESOME! One thing that I notice happens also happened on my EVO all the time. When taking a picture up close, the AF a lot of times will focus clear and then blur just before taking a picture. Sometimes it does this, sometimes it doesn't. I've tried changing to macro mode, but that doesn't help. What am I doing wrong? That is so annoying.
Please follow the forum rules and post all question threads in the Q&A section. Thank you.

I'm new to this forum, and I am really scared after watching the video about being slaughtered for posting a new thread. I searched for a solid half hour before posting, and I did not find any appropriate existing threads, although some were somewhat similar.
I am about to get my first Android phone. It is a Motorola Flipside (I am on a budget and I need a physical keyboard; hopefully, if you didn't hate me for posting a new thread you will not hate me for buying a Flipside). The phone comes with Eclair, but can be upgraded to Froyo. When I do this, I know that I will have less than 100MB of free space (could be as little as 60MB) on the internal hard drive, but I am not sure how much less, and I don't want to mess around with moving too much bloatware or rooting. In order to get the apps that I have preselected to all fit, I'm going to need to get them in a certain order. I should get the ones that I can move to SD first, and then get the ones that are not able to be moved.
I have heard that App 2 SD is a good program, although Froyo can probably do it on its own. Do I need App 2 SD?
I am wondering which of the following large-ish apps can be moved so that I don't need to install apps only to be forced to delete them because they cannot be moved:
1. Battleheart
2. Battleloot
3. Modern Conflict
4. Plague, Inc.
I e-mailed the support of each company first [except Miniclip for Plague, Inc. because their website nearly forced my PC to poop itself (see, no swearing!)]. None of the companies replied after 3 days, so I am hoping that collectively the users of this forum have these games and can tell me if they can be moved to an SD card without rooting the phone. Sorry if I have done something wrong by posting this here.

Hi, when you have root use titanium backup. Luckypat..( I don't know i can say the name complete). Search for an old version, new one don't go with the patcher( hoppla). Titanium 5.50 or down.

Thanks, but I was hoping to not root this phone. I basically want to leave it as it is (uninstalling only obviously unnecessary apps), and try to move the extra things I want to an SD card.

If u want 2 use ur device as max, u'll find rooting is essentials as well as buying an android device., don't worry about rooting. U can use DTa2sd script to move almost all of /data size into /sd-ext partition of ur sd-card. & then pump ur self with all android apps.
Now, every week I root 2 deviced, more over it's reversable.

It was a heavily asked question several months ago when the phone came out. I even included it in my FAQs thread, which is also linked in my signature.

Not a problem. If there was a mod who was willing to sticky the post, like it's been marked for several months, people would see it.
I saw a old thread similar to this but I wanted to post a new one because:
I have a 32gb class 10 San Disk sd card and it doesn't work with my phone. It doesn't readily read, i have to keep on reinserting it, and at times my phone asks to format it because its broken. I use a custom rom (razo droid latest version).
Which 32GB sd cards are reliable and definitely work with this phone? If people reply with one's that don't, I don't mind editing the first post with a list of SD cards to stay away from with this phone.
Nice development thread you got here. Is it too hard to go to the General section instead of development?
Try to ask it here
You will get more answers

Already Done Bro
I'm terribly sorry for making such a stupid mistake. Really I am, I know I'm a noob, and unfortunately too many people like me are here, sorry.
Going back to the post, from first hand experience should
san disk class 10 32gb micro sd card work on a custom rom of s5830i?
So what he accidentally posted in the wrong section, everyone makes mistakes... what I find funny is the fact that the people who are making fun of him attempt to do so with what they undoubtedly believe are witty comments and comebacks, but half the time they don't make sense and end up failing completely
To those of you who simply reported it to get it moved to the general section you're clearly more mature than most, especially those who simply have to post cocky comments
Back to the question now, I think 32 gig is supported, I had a problem like yours with my brand new 8 gig SD card it turns out there was a problem with it,i got it exchanged and everything works perfectly now, I suggest getting it checked out or exchanged especially if your phone keeps saying to format it because its damaged or unable to read it

You haven't flooded the forum it's meant to be here, this is the place to put questions, as long as it's new and you've searched beforehand, areebjamal and others are only annoyed that noobs post new topics to easy questions without searching and easily finding there answer
No you can't delete it, only moderators can delete stuff

You won't be able to get working apps to sd at this time unless you unroot and take the OTA update. However, from what I understand, the apps to sd doesn't really allow for a ton of extra internal storage.
Sorry about that mate, my mistake.
Yeah, I went back to stock since before I rooted/bootloadered I didn't notice the App2SD already hit US. I was expecting it to take some time to hit but I was mistaken.
I went back to non-rooted by flashing the OTA through Kies. To be honest, I like TouchWIZ, just hate all the space being taken up my phone has less than 1 gb left, and I figured ROMing it would resize the partitions. Is there currently anyway possible to resize the partition to 2 GB OS, 14GB Data? I thought that by now there would be someone that created a GE ROM that would have this working?
Anyway since I got the OTA, App2SD works, however it doesn't work for my largest files -- My games! I am using the GS4 as a mobile gaming device (primarily use the DNA for all else) and I have only 10 games installed (Fruit Ninja, Totemo HD, Montezuma 3, Final Fantasy III, Riptide GP, ShadowGun, Shine Runer, Sonic CD, PAC-MAN) and have others I have purchased over the last 3 years I want to install but don't have any more space. Only a few of the games actually moved their data over when I selected move to SD.
So I was trying to look online for a method of moving over the games in question, however just by searching for the game by nature it brings up too many warez sites and not enough real information. If anyone here knows of an APP that will move the data and change the game build to recognize where the Data is, please I would love some help
