I'm currently using version 6.5 of Mik_os.
Whenever I use the headset the sound of my phone seems to be amplified and the sound is too loud cracks and has constant white noise present in the media files.
Whenever I stop playing the white noise disappears after a few seconds.
It seems that the kernel seems to be boosting the media sound.
Is there a way to disable this boost?
alreasy at the lowest volume the next is mute.
Lower the volume.

Same question here. Any solutions?
Is there any way to control audio amplifier? Inc/dec sound changes nothing.
@comduk92 & A.Shaferov:
Following this thread might help you solve the problem (at least the white noise part).
Hi I was wondering what is the noise suppression option for in the call setting under additional setting? Would it make my in call volume louder if i turned it off?
It helps reduce the amount of background noise on the other persons end so they can hear you clearer. It has nothing to do with the audio that comes thru your end ;-)

Not sure if theres any way to increase volume in the handset, mine has always been loud enough
You only see the icon when its enabled, so if you don't see it when your on a call you're either on speaker or its disabled.

When Turned ON, the phone will use the secondary mic to capture background noise and therefore suppress it ,not allowing it to get into your current call, it has nothing to do with the volume of the call.
To surpress noise. I that that was already pretty self explainitory?
Ok THANKS FOR THE INFO

Actually a very nice option for those like myself who uses a case that covers this second/noise cancellation mic...
I am currently running tasks ROM And for some reason with Vince's from the volume for notifications is lower than most other ones that I have tried it's hard to hear in my warehouse, is there a way I can make them louder?

I want to make my phone call volume higher -- it's pretty noisy in my neighborhood!
I've tried adjusting the phone's position (suggested in another thread), and Volume+ by Meltus but neither working.
Volume+ did help make the ring louder but not call volume.
I'm on the latest Unofficial ROM, maybe it doesn't play well with Volume+?
Any suggestions -- has anyone gotten Volume+ to work on another ROM or kernel?
I am having the same problem and would like to see a solution to this problem

Hey. So I have flashes cm7 but the sound from the speakers seems low. I'm into ringtones and music from my phone. I have volume + and I have tried dsp manager for my infuse. But everything makes the speakers distorted as hell. I'm really wanting some volume but also bass. But not something In that order that'll make my speakers distorted. Any suggestions? Thanks -
