Hi, 2 questions
First time posting at this great site, have TnT Lite 4.2.4 on right now and was wondering how to tell which build eg.(3381) I currently have installed as I am hoping to update to a newer TnT.
I installed honeycomb theme for adw but now cant remove the theme, how do i remove.
thanks, I hope this was allowed as a first post
I'm still on stock, but you should be able to go into your settings, and find About Tablet and it should tell you what build you have
hi, thanks for the reply, on the ,, about tablet,, page it tells me that it has
android 2.2
tnt lite v4.2.4
kernel 2.6.32.9-00000-10.8.2-dirty
build frf91
again not sure how to know what this means to the things I have been reading on the forums about 3312 or 3366 as an example
TnTLite 4.2.4 is based on TnT 1.1-3588
thanks for the help, is there any site/forum that lists all the roms info
Each ROM has a thread in the development section here. You should be able to find any information you want by searching those threads.
I searched almost every post in the forums but do not understand how the info below is determined.
TnTLite 4.2.4 is based on TnT 1.1-3588
If it is out there then I didnt find it probably because I dont know some of the lingo and procedures.
I am trying to find out if I can just install/boot with a newer TnT like 4.3/4.4 considering the 3588 running now to remove adw honeycomb theme.
I followed a guide that had me first install dproot and then tntlite 4.2.4, everything was working great until i installed honeycomb theme for adw launcher, have had a lot of fc's since then.
ADW is not the stock launcher for TnTLite so it won't be overwritten if you upgrade to a new version. Since I don't use ADW I can't help you but I would imagine that a google search for "remove theme from adw launcher" might be helpful.
To remove an adw theme you can either delete the theme application
menu/settings/applications/manage applications/. Then find the honeycomb adw theme apk click it and select uninstall.
Or,
hit your menu button. Select preferences or adw preferences and click on. then select theme and pick stock or whichever.
thanks for the reply, I did remove per your suggestions and the honeycomb theme is still thereafter reboot, also removed adw and installed launcher pro and tried to use stock theme but it reverts back to the honeycomb, cant find any instance of of the honeycomb theme on the sdcard or sdcardII
How did you get the honeycomb theme on there? Did you install an apk or did you flash it in clockwork recovery
Sent from my Droid using XDA App
+1 the only HC themes I have seen are cwm installs.
Thanks for all suggestions, I installed the honeycomb theme from market it is
Honeycomb ADW Theme by GFX Android
installed the apk and now cant remove it, tried deleting the theme adding new theme and using Launcher pro but the backkground pic stays at the honeycomb theme,
sorry if some of this does not make sense, as I am a new user I am not sure how to word or describe this porperly.
On a different note I have another question but not sure if I start a new thread or not?
Question is I rooted z4root and installed tnt 4.2.4 all is good, can I install clockwork mod on top of these or do i have to go back to stock first
thanks

I had posted this in response to a posting in the Q&A but since this originally had to do with a dark theme thought might get more of a response here.
I have a zip file that is for the darker/black android keyboard. when installing this through CW does it do a fresh install or does it edit any existing android keyboard installation?
Asking becuase am wanting android keybard on the ODIN release of 2.2 that Eugene released. Have seen several people asking for this keyboard but haven't seen any files except the black one that I got a while back.
I am also willing to bump. I am running froyo Odin version and it doest have the default Android keyboard??
Cant it be installed?
Yesterday I flashed Nookie Froyo and nearly the only thing I miss from the stock ROM is it's theme, I really like lite menu colors.
Is there a way to properly extract original theme files from stock ROM(only menu colors, buttons and fonts) and use them Nookie Froyo? I suspect there is a comprehensible guide or FAQ on making Nook themes I just can't find, anyway, any good advice is much appreciated.
Ok, well since you're definitely not the first to ask this question, I've posted a guide on how to theme

Currently I have a VS G-Tablet running VegANtab 7.0.0. It's a miracle that I was somehow able to install that rom without significant problems. I like VegANtab, but I find myself longing for the old stock interface (dashboard launcher) and the old apps which I cannot duplicate through the app store or at least I cannot find any self-contained calendar or contacts apps that do not sync to a google account. (I hate that syncing.)
So I'm looking for a way to run the old interface on a more current rom. I understand that this is TnT which is not VegANtab. I've searched the internet for ways to do this, and the results I received have left my head spinning.
Apparently, it is possible to do so with something called a Caulkin rom. What is a Caulkin rom? Something like TnT or CyanogenMod? I've never come across it before. Is the Caulkin rom just a kernel, and I have to install another rom together with it?
Can anyone point me to some info about this rom and to where I can download it?
Thanks.
There is a thread for Caulkulin's rom in the development section. It's just a seperate Rom, like the Vegan that you're using, or the original TNT was. Basically, you just flash it like you did the Vegan 7 Rom that you've already flashed.
It's called Caulkulin/Clemysn because it also comes with a custom kernel developed by Clemsyn. For instance, with you're vegantab 7 rom, you could always also flash a kernel, Clemysn, Pershoot, etc...but with the Caulkulin one, it comes packaged with the Rom.
There are many, many roms out there, now..it's basically up to you ot find one that makes you happy. some are ports of other systems roms, while others are more built from scratch using information that is available.

Start here if you want to go back to a stock-based ROM

Hello. Is there any way to acquire the stock Gingerbread launcher, such as the one included with the new OMFGB ROM so that it can be used as the default in CM7? I absolutely hate ADW and Launcher Pro because they are slow and have always been troublesome to use (at least they have been for me). I loved ROMs like CommRom and Evil Fascination because of their launchers which I assume are stock Gingerbread but I can't possibly go back after CM7 and OMFGB is a step backwards from CM7 at this point (i.e. the sensors are broken and deep sleep seems to be an issue again).
I believe what you're looking for is Launcher2. IIRC there's a link to an apk in the CM7 thread in the development section.
Ok so Launcher2 was not located in the CM7 thread but I did find a flashable zip file and it works perfectly! Thank you for the help!

Hello guys! Just like your video said, I'm a noob and I'm proud of it. xD
I search'ed a bit the forum, but I couldn't find what I was looking for.
OK, so I just updated my ROM to the latest version, Revolution ROM 2.5. I restored my apps with Titanium Back-Up, all good. I choose a theme from the "Revolution" soft and installed the ninphetamine 2.0.2 kernel.
Here's some questions that I have:
1. This ROM comes with ~10 widgets. How can I get all the stock ones back? I couldn't find anything.
2. Another thing, can I modify the theme how I want? I mean, I like the Gingerbread Edition theme (with all that green), but on the top-bar I would like the battery icon from the Revolution ROM, the one with some good-looking circles, but on green color. Also the bottle icons I would like to change too (too much green on them).
3. Does anyone know what is the 'process' where the today screens (all 7) are saved? I restored all my data with TBU, and my today was also how it was before updating, but w/o the widgets that are missing. After I reinstall those widgets I'd like to restore that process, where all the layouts are saved.
Thank you very much! Maybe some answers are already on this forum, but don't be hard on me because I didn't find them. Anyone how can help me is welcome and I thank him very much!
You can download the Kitchen app from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1171523
With that you can download stock app, widgets etc
Regarding the green ones, you can download a stock theme then try to flash the other themes from kitchen app. This is what i did
All the download etc can be done via the Kitchen app provided by LEO
Thank you very much for your support!
I managed to get my widgets + some transparent one.
About the themes, I can't do anything. If I download the stock one and then move to another, it will stay to the new one completely.
Isn't there an app that let me customize my theme? Just like Kitchen is, but they have only for general theme/dialer/market. I would want one more complex, to let me choose my style for battery, icons and so on.
Thanks again!
