I want to be able to get my xbox to read my phone as a usb drive or media player. How would I do that?

Likely not possible since you need USB drivers for this phone, which you can't install on an Xbox 360.

Why would the xbox need hacking? if it is possible to make our phone read like a flash drive or some other thing xbox recognizes. but I'm not sure if that's a option

Well fir xbox to read it as flash it would need to be partitioned as flash. As for a mod for the phone I ding think.so other then what I said cause that's how xbox would read it is as a fat32 partition. I could be wring tho

How about wifi transfer? I never had any recent game consoles so I don't know if there's such an option...
There is windows media connection which can be setup between xbox and a pc then u can stream videos

Sry to break topic, but. You know I don't think I've ever actually seen a black pot or kettle. Always steel, aluminum, brass, some copper, but never cast. Unless you count dutch ovens . Sorry for that just wondered about that saying.

What u could try to do is put a flash drive, 4gb or less, into the Xbox, let the system do its thing to install the appropriate drivers, then transfer those files to your phone. Change ur phone setting to always connect automatically to mass storage and see if that helps. Also u might have to use a 4gb micro SD for ur phone as well as the Xbox will not recognize anything higher entering through the USB ports.

It is a remote access interface. It allows someone to remotely access and control your phone. It is there for remote technical support and troubleshooting by allowing a T-mobile technician to connect to your phone. I personally despise the fact they put it on my phone and it was promptly removed. I don't need anyone connecting to my phone remotely....ever.

Yeah, thanks for the reply, and to the OP, good question, I also wondered what it was, now I know I'm ready to delete it lol.
The login is only used during Troubleshooting and the pin only is good for 20 minutes. U can see exactly what the technician is doing and can stop it at anytime during interface. its to use on difficult things for the customer or to see stats when phone isn't running correctly similar to a pc tech accessing your pc remotely.

I have been playing it on and off over the last day and have had no problems. i do not have chainfire installed as it was causing my phone to lock up randomly last week. and it still runs fine.

Uninstall it, and make sure you get it from the amazon appstore. It wont work from someone's 3rd party apk.
only problem is i can't use it from amazon because i have no credit card i have my paypal account but it doesn't accept it in no way do i support 3rd party distribution but i thought since i had no amazon account i would do it that way so i tried fakenamegenerator.com just for fake info for amazon but it says doesn't support the region even though i use a us account and fake credit card

I am sure I have read posts re Alien and theme not working but cant find them.
Alien works great for me except that I cant get the theme to install (launch). Actually I run the installer form CWM and finishes OK (last version of CWM). I go by the rules. Unlocked, rooted, depeleated battery and recharging 100 %, install Alien, and reboot before the install the theme, clear data/factory defaults before starting everithing, use the Wipe Installer.... what else.. what can I do.. upon installing and rebooting it goes to the HOME launcher, not even the stock Gingerblur, so I have to get rid of that pice of crap
I swithed to Alien from Ronaldo´s ROM, wich is very straightforward and based on Kenn´s and also uses Alien script installer, so I don't have the slightest idea as to what I am doing wrong, missing, or if I am through a bug,
I would appreciate some good soul to help me.

meaning what you're asking for is old, no longer supported. meaning no one is maintaining it. its a gb based thing. most ppl have moved to ics/jb since its getting closer and closer to being stable. cut your losses and move on in this case means give up on it and find something else. not trying to boss you around with that statement, just saying it as it is

Any way to get whatever version of "blur" the bionic and Droid 3 ported to the photon?
My friend has a bionic and his wife has the Droid 3 and their versions of blur are smoother and faster than the "blur" we have. Id use the stock launcher if it was like theirs. Ours is slow and laggy. Both demo units at my local stores were laggy as well so I know its notmy phone.

Well I'm not sure y every photon I use it has lag on the stock launcher. I use LPP and its smooth as hell, back to stock launcher and it lags...

I read it has something to do with widgets, not sure if its the number of widgets, Motorola widgets or android widgets that cause the issue.

even with this monster of information reading and work to put in, I would love to see what you brought up........ its shady we got the low end of the stick their launcher is way better than ours ud think with nVid gpu we have id be more likely to have some better animations.... but noooo........ id like to see someone port this over... id gladly donate to the dev that can port the bionic launcher over to our mopho....

I don't think we will officially see it because it's really made for the whole DRoid push that verizon has. I saw somewhere that we actually don't have a blur phone so that's why we are not getting it. The verizon phones are running motoblur.

Gb roms are very well built. We don't have them for ics / jb because they were never given to us.
