[Q] HTC Mozart Debrand + Sim Unlock - 7 Mozart General

Can someone help me out please? Basically my htc mozart was debranded on a nodo htc europe rom. After this i decided to sim unlock the phone so i did this via an unlock code which was accepted. Now when ever i try to make a call using another sim it just goes call ended with 3 beeps. I have also tried to go back to the orignal rom but had no luck. Is there a way of fixing this or like sim locking the phone again so i can unlock again.
Thanks in advance.

Just to let you know the battery cover must be on as it has a metal bit which gives the signal/

Battery Cover
It's nothing to do with the cover doesnt work with the cover either. I think its to do with the nodo rom.

I think it unlocked but no Signal

A little help for the dumb guy...
I ran lokwizzzzz and it gave me a lock code. Is that the unlock code? I entered it and the phone seemed to accept it. My phone now hunts for a signal but will never acquire one. Have any of you guys ever herd of this? It's a Cingular phone that I am trying to unlock for t-mobile...
Thanks
Timmy
Erm, not sure of this one. Usually, you downgrade to buttons 1.05 ROM then the lokiwiz will actually unlock it and CID unlock it directly from your computer. Then you can flash a new rom straight to it.
I think the OP refers to a SIM unlock ..
Does it works if you use the Cingular SIM card?
I don't have a Cingular SIM. My partner does and I will try it when he gets in. I am also going to try unlocking it with the Cingular SIM in, then put the T-mobile SIM in....
It's weird though, it appears to be unlocked. It just never finds a signal. I did not down grade the rom before the unlock attempt either. I will try to read up some more on it. This is all new to me, seems to be a little bit of a learning curve...
Thanks,
Timmy

[Q] HTC EVO 3D Sim Unlock

Hello ppl,
I have Evo 3D locked to country network and im just wondering is there any solution to sim unlock it. Solution with codes sites not giving right code for it because of lack codes for my country carrier. Any other solution jet?
Please use the Q&A Forum for questions Thanks
Moving to Q&A
Maybe solution?
What I have tryed. I have Turbo Sim I used on my previous HTC HD2 to unlock it from same country carrier. HD2 was working on my network without any problems. Only problem i have got is when i tryed Phone 7 NoDo rom. On any other Win Mo 6,5, Android and even previous Phone 7 Rom all was right and phone was working like it never been locked on diferent network. That Turbo Sim now i tryed with my Evo 3D. Phone found network and got connected to my network but with R on signal notification. Simulated like its in Roaming. I could make cals and sens SMS but for others i was unavaible. ( same problems like HD2 on that NoDo Phone 7 Rom ). What i have noticed is that Evo turn off itself few times when Turbo Sim was in.
Is it posible that maybe with other ROM everything get working? But then i didnt do anything to keep waranty and Originaly Locked bootloader. Does anybody know something more about this, is there any instalation could help? or software? because phone bugged and got off when i used to look at Sim Tolkit icon what we get when Turbo Sim is in the phone..... If i get this working without boot unlocking or changing software then i sure have solution to sim unlock device and keep waranty....

Some questions about my new HTC Hero

Hi Guys,
So i just bought a HTC Hero from a friend. It is on Telus network and I am on Bell. So i bought this unlock code form ebay. Now I go into
menu>settings>location and security>set up sim lock(its checked)> then press it and it tell me to put a pin, I put the unlock code I got from ebay and it does not work.
Am I putting the pin in the right place? what is a sim pin? if this is something else then how do I retrive a sim pin. I have never put any kind of pin on my sim so unless my phone provider did.
Also I am reading through a lot of forums and people are talking about ROM and Flash what are all these? When I go into Settings I see a Tasty OC on my phone, what is that? does it come with all HTC Hero phones?
Thanks a lot in advance

To unlock, I think you need to power on the phone with your bell sim card. It'll ask you to enter the code then.
As for Tasty OC, think that is from the custom ROM Tasty Froyo.
ROMs are custom operating systems. You'll find sense based ones and non sense ones. How you apply a ROM is by flashing. Go read the sticky in the development thread its pretty good. **edit: this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=797740

Is This even possible. Mozart Locked to One sim??

Hi
Just a quick question. I have a company work phone HTC Mozart. When I take the sim out and stick in another sim from the same operator I get sim locked. It seems to only work with the one sim it came with.
Is this even possible??
How would I go about unlocking the phone. Have we gotton to the stage where any of the custom roms are operator unlocked.
Thanks

No Simcard....

Hello,
since I have flashed a custom ROM on my German T-Mobile HTC One w/o simlock (T-Mob_101), I can't use any SIM-Cards anymore nor can they be read. I also tried with the tape trick but neither that does help. I tried to install other ROMs (such as Google Edition and Android Revolution) but still no luck. I'm out of ideas and gonna throw that phone out of the window any time soon.
Please help me this is extremely frustrating, it's a quite new phone I don't want to send it to HTC for repairs.
My HTC didn't read Sim at all, I changed sim at operator office for brand new one - since then no problems
