Hello,
I just want if its possible to install portuguese language on cooked rom's.
One example it's possible to install it on Energy Rom's? And how can i make this? Do i need any especific software?
Best compliments
yes! it´s possible.
You have to use Registry editor and go to HKEY current user/MUI and put 816 value instead of 409. It´s done!!!

Thanks for the reply
Already I want to ask some questions, if you accept to help.
What is the Registry Editor that you advice? I just download the "mobile registry editor."
The ROM I use is the latest available from HTC, which I think is a bit slow. Are you aware of any already in Portuguese that I save this job to edit one?
Finally I wonder if to now that the change you indicate, will also allow the dictionary of sms's will also remain in Portuguese?
Thanks

From the problem, it seems you have messed up your system apps. And without no doubt maybe that's the reason for constant reboot. If you are not experienced in Android, then please don't play with root or do so. Rooting has got nothing to do for a normal user.
Anyways I'd suggest you to reflash the stock firmware of Galaxy tab. Firmwares could be found in www.sammobile.com. I guess this is the firmware you're looking for, but not sure, do more research. And instructions on flashing could be also found on that site.
~Cheers.

Yes, I used it for some time (I've used pretty much every ROM from here, save for some of the blurred ROMs, I hate blur since my blurred Motorola Quench)
I personally like the Paranoid Android ROMs, couldn't use any other since I've tried it, and probably will change to the new jellybean version in this weekend, but epinter's CM10 is pretty good, snappy and is very good and stable. I haven't used any of the new MIUI jelly bean builds, but I liked a lot when I tried the ICS builds (was using it before I learned about Paranoid Android). Try them all, just don't apply sbf files and you're set
Another thing, the community don't like much posts in another language, every once in a while I see posts in another language and it sucks to take it to google translate, so, if you're not confident enough with your english, just put it in Google translate and post with both languages.
--
Thanks, I'll look at Max ROM you spoke. This Cell is my wife. I have a Galaxy S and it's the first time I see this MB860 apply ROM's so straight through CWM. Before scraped pacas with FastBoots, and ABD etc. was a bag! Again thanks for the tip! Tiko Abs.
As for the translation, I do not care no, they were paranoid after September 11th!

Valeu, Max.

How to install the TV app
To install the TV app the process is very simple, Fallow the below process #1 to #5
#1 Make sure you have a rooted phone.
#2 Download the zip check the OS version4.4.4 KitKat
Motorola-TV-App-for-any-ROM-V1.0.6-KitKat.zip
5.x.x Lollipop:
Motorola-TV-App-for-any-ROM-V1.0.6-Lollipop.zip
6.0 Marshmallow:
Motorola-TV-App-for-any-ROM-V1.0.7-Marshmallow.zip
7.x Nougat and UP:
Use the Marshmallow .zip above
* Be aware on android Marshmallow and Nougat selinux may block the app from work. Selinux can be simply disable using a app my Mod version of Kernel Adiutor can do that Download the .apk open the app go to Misc and disable Toggle Se Linux if current SElinux Status is set to permissive the TV app must work, enable apply on boot to have it automatic disable after it reboot.
#3 Flash it via recovery (no need to clean dalvik cache or cache after)The zip will auto reboot after it finish the install process.
So if you will flash more then one zip leave this for last, on the queue.
#4 Only for 4.4.4 users (volume Bug)Enable in developer options Disable HW Overlays (first is need to have developer enable if you don't have and don't now how to enable developer check 3 post - help). If you don't do this and try to change the volume while watching TV the phone will force-reboot...
example:
#5 RUN jellyservice before start the TV appTo run But jellyservice is need to have init.d working Most custom ROM have it, but some times it is not working or the Kernel that you are using kill's it.
If you don't have init.d is need to start jellyservice manually, or enable init.d via app on the #3 post a help about init.d.)
Note about jellyservice :
In the stock Motorola ROM there is a file call jellyservice and it is need to be running before you run the tv app.
This zip will install this file and make it run all the time in the background, just like in the stock ROM.
But that file doesn't need to be running all the time on yours device if you don't wanna, but if you stop that service every time you need to run the TV app you will need to started the service before click to open the apk.
How to stop and start ''jellyservice''
1* with a root browser go to folder /system/etc/init.d/ and deleted the file 99jellyservice
After you reboot the jellyservice will not be running on the backgroud
2* Running jellyservice manually
2.1*- Install the app ''Script Manager - SManager''
2.2*- Open and config SManager,
check Do not ask again
click on Browser as root
click ok
go to folder:
/system/bin/
to change folder click on the folder with 2 dots on left up corner
it time you click it will go up one folder, click until only show: /
click on ''jellyservice''
check ''Su'', and ''Is executable''
click on run
closed the app
Now you can open the TV app, but every time you wanna to run it is need to do that, but you don't need to find jellyservice on system/bin folder all the time, you can just open SManager and click on the saved config, click on the arrow on the up right corner and you see jellyservice config, click on it click run and open the tv app.
Some sample images...
to run only once
to run again
click on jellyservice and click run
If the zip don't work for you go to post #3 see the Help, if that don't help let me know.
I have included on the attachments a file Cleaner.zip it will remove all the files flashed by the tv.zip, in case some one have tested it and it doesn't work and wanna to remove the files.

Help...:
In 4.4.4 KitKat user, if a function is not enable on developer options, the TV app have a major problem that makes the app crash and the phone reboot if you change the volume wen watching tv.
To not have this problem enable:
Disable HW Overlays - PT-BR Desativar sobreposição de HW
example:
How to enable Developer:
Developer is show in setting, but it need to be enable first, to do that go to about phone and click over Build number a fill times, click until the message appears that it is enabled.
example:
I installed the zip but it doesn't work?
you need to know exactly what doesn't work...
So check if all the file of the zip are you or device after it reboot.
If no let me know exactly what you did. Your ROM, device and recovery version.
I installed the zip all good, but wen i click to open the TV app don't run? (Black screen, FC)
If you open the app and received a message "fail to initialize TV" you may using a device that don't have DTV hardware, if know you do keep reading.
If you not in KK, and have a device with DTV hardware you may have a problem to start jellyservice , check if the file system/etc/bin/99jellyservice
is present.
If not the flash not work or something deleted it. try the flash again if no luck tell me.
If yes the file is present, you may not have init.d support on yours rom check the how to enable it.
How To Enable Init.d on any ROM:
1 - you need to check if you really don't have it:
I have put in the zip a simple file that writes ( init.d works / init.d funciona) on a .txt every boot, but it will only work if init.d is fine, to check it the simple way is to delete this file and reboot after a reboot if init.d rewrites that file and its content init.d is working perfectly.
To check that go to folder system/etc/bin/ check if the file 99testinit is present.
If yes, go to /data/local/tmp/ and open the file init.d_log_test.txt
if you open the file and it content is init.d works / init.d funciona all is good, deleted the file init.d_log_test.txt reboot and check again to see if the file is there and it content( init.d works / init.d funciona), if all good let me know
If the file init.d_log_test.txt doesn't exist or is in blank you do not have init.d suport.
2 - How to install it
Is possible and simple to implemented init.d via app use the app Universal Init.d to enable it, the app is very simple and self explain.
1 - Install the App open
2 - Allow superuser permission
3 - Simply toggle OFF button to ON.
4 - Reboot.
5 - Done.
6 - check if you can open the TV app now, if not check the file /data/local/tmp/init.d_log_test.txt
example image:
If you can use init.d go to OP and look for How to stop and start ''jellyservice'' and manually started the jellyservice.
If any of this help let me know.

Abra SManager,
Marque Do not ask again
click em Browser as root
click em ok
vá na pasta:
/system/bin/
marque ''Su'', e ''Is executable''
click em run
Encerre o app SManager
Marque ''Su'', '' Boot'' and ''Is executable''
click em run
Encerre o app SManager.
Abra o SManager,
click nos 3 pontinhos
click em Advanced
click em configration
Desmarque Show running in background
Algumas imagens de exemplo
Dúvidas, problemas me avisa, que faço o possível pra ajudar :good:

The service to run need to have root access, the only way to run something like that as root on a stock rom is run it on boot after the phone boot noting have root access in the apk/service side of course, some things have but the apk cant have, otherwise if it have, open's a door to someone creating a working around and have a root access without the bootloader unlocked.
But in a custom ROM we already have everything necessary to run a app as root.
The problem is how to do it?
I'm studying it, i don't have much time, but i will try.
In the time maybe some one can help. :good:
Maybe to do a moded apk which starts jellybean service before starts mobile TV apk itself
