Hi, I bought two xperia mini's ST15i's for me and my wife.
We can be in conversation with each other when for no reason the call seems to cut off, sometimes only for a few seconds other times longer, in some cases the calls cuts off and doesn't come back.
This has also happened when speaking with people on other phones on other networks.
My wife and I are on different phone networks so I don't think it is a network problem.
Anyone else experienced this problem?
Thanks and great site, I have rooted my phone using the tutorials in here.

Make sure both phones are updated with the latest software. Use PC Companion for this. It can be downloaded from Sony Ericsson official website.
If you have old SIM cards you should ask your operator for new ones too. New phones with old SIM card can sometime cause trouble even though the very same old SIM card works fine with an old phone. Strange, I know but I've seen it a lot.

Hi Markus-SEAnswers, we are both on the latest firmware.
I am on 02 and my wife is with 3, I had a new 02 pay go sim card that i got when I bought the new phones.
I put the 02 payg sim into her phone and phoned her, was on the phone for about 4 minutes and didn't cut out once....just had to listen to her nagging
So it seems that this has done the trick, she is going to get a new sim card from 3 and see if that is the fix.
Thanks for your reply.

If CPW do what they normally do and supply unlocked handsets, you can get one from them on a price match against O2 for £200.
Mine arrives next week, will confirm if it is unlocked.
Can confirm that the Ray I got from CPW was unbranded and unlocked
Sim unlock
Does this unlock SIM block ? also on x10 mini?
regards
I have a Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo on O2 in the UK. They are the only carrier that has said they will not update the phone to Android 4.0 because of bugs. I would like to update the phone and have found that the only way I could do it would be by debranding it and then updating it OTA. I have found some sellers on eBay offering this service for £10, is there a cheaper or even free way to do this?
Thanks

Hi there, I've just got a SE Xperia U and a SE Xperia Ion from Yoigo (a Spanish phone operator) but I can't use it with my other operator since the phones seem to be SIM locked.
I've googleing for a solution but with little luck so far. Anyone can help me to unlock it?
I had unlocked by code. 15€ and was delivered in 2 days. As far as I know a free solution isn't available yet.
Hi guys,
I have an Xperia X10 which was purchased with an Orange contract but would like to give it to my younger brother since I've now got a new phone. The problem is my X10 is locked onto Orange and my brother is on Tesco. Is there a way to unlock the phone? I assume I can take the phone to Orange and they will unlock it for me but I'm sure they will charge for this. Is there a way to unlock it for free?
Any help would be very much appreciated

this thread might help you... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1978693&highlight=sim+unlock
They made it illegal in the us without asking your carrier
So try to call your carrier and ask for sim unlock code
Sent from my X10 using xda app-developers app

You can make a unlock code request to orange by calling their customer care executive. But i don't know how much they are charge to unlock your Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 phone. But they will ask you to wait for some days or even some months to provide unlock code. Also they won't
give the code at free of cost.So better you can get the code from online provider like Theunlockarena.com .

This type of post is frustrating. If you want to promote a site, just be upfront about it.
Our name on here is mobileunlocked and if we ever link to ourselves, it's to be useful for people who are actually still looking for help. Not threads were the person clearly doesn't need advice any more.
Stop trying to destroy a good thing on XDA.
