[Q] Iradar & Twisted Sense 1.5.1 - Thunderbolt Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys, I am having some issues with one specific app. The “iradar” by cobra, after installing Twisted Sense 1.5.1 I keep getting FCs. I did not have this issue with any other Rom I had tried before. The app requires Bluetooth and GPS for full functionality, but they are not required. The actual error message is as follows “The application Cobra iRadar (process com.cobra.iradar) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again”. I have tried fixing permission, clearing cache and removing and reinstalling the app, no change. Any suggestions?
I m sorry i can not post a link of the website due to my noob status but you can find background info about the product with a google search "cobrairadar"
Thanks in advance!

Sorry for the question. As soon as I was done posting the question, the company came out /w a new update aimed specifically for FCs on the Thunderbolt. Thanks anyways....

[Q] Bionix V from Team Whiskey

Hey everyone so I just loaded both Bionix V/TW and Bionix V and i am having trouble downloading and installing apps from the market.
Is there anyone else that is having this same problem or is it me?
A few apps i tried to install were; Facebook for android, angry birds, smooth calander, the weather channel, twitter, and a few others....
If there is anyway to get it to the developers that would be cool too! Thanks everyone!
has nothing to do with the ROM, I think a lot of people (if not everyone) can't do anything with the market ATM
Another thread on the General Android section about this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=938115
I have this issue aswell,I've flashed several times and sometimes no issue then other times...issue.
Try flashing back to stock and then reflash back....or just keep trying to dl from market, usually after a few tries it will dl

This one might be ROM related: the past few days, I'd get some strange behavior. Either:
I'd click Install and nothing would happen, or
I'd click Install, and it would download, but never install.
If I go back to the market later, I see the progress bar, but it's not actually doing anything. Usually on the second or third try it will download and install correctly.
Wipe out davik cache.
Go into setting application, manage application, all, find market clean cache and data if that doesn't work odin back and reflash.

Same issue
I have had Bionix V running since its release and the same thing has been happening to me. the Download progress bar would complete, but then there would be no notification of completion of download, it took me a couple of downloads to actually get the App. I would think it is a Market issue because it has only been acting up like this for the past day and a half, but before then Bionix has been awesome.
Running bionix V. Don't have this issue. But I think the market is really slow these past couple of days.

go to settings - applications - manage applications - all tab or running apps - look for market - clear data - done

Click to collapse
Yup, what I did. I also had to recalibrate the compass/gps to get that to work correctly.
Thanks for the help! Im reflashing right now!
I had trouble after flashing Bionix V, too.
I found a thread on another site that suggested the gTalk login was somehow linked to Market. I killed the Market process, logged into gTalk, started Market, canceled my downloads -- and from that point forward it has worked normally.
Weird, but it worked for me.

I am having the same problem where I try to download something and it stops right after I press ok. I have tried clearing market data, dalkiv cache and also tried re flashing.

[Q] Cannot add contacts after flashing Batista70 foxhound 2.4

i searched the q&a forums but nobody seems to have this problem.so i made a new thread.
i flashed the batista70 foxhound 2.4 on my galaxy s2 international edition few days back and since then i cant add telephone contacts to my phone. whenever i click the plus button the screen goes blank and returns to the previous screen again and sometimes this message pops up "process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly" force close.
thanx in advance for your help.
Not sure if you have Google+ installed but pretty sure I've read of people having the same issue on other roms. Deleting Google+ fixed it for them.

[Q] Serendipity 8.2 Market Issue

so i am having problems with the serendipity 8.2 rom. just did a fresh install about 2 hours ago and spent most of that time trying to find a solution on the dev forum's actual serendipity thread, but i am a new member and cannot post there yet apparently.
so... that being said, every time i try to access the android market i get " error retrieving information from the server". what i picked up from what i read is that its an issue fixed easily by removing your info from google wallet. well my problem is that this is a fresh install and i havent even been to the market at all on this rom yet. any help is appreciated.
thanks
Have you tried going into Menu, Settings, Applications, All, clicking on Market and then clearing cache? That should clear all Market settings and start you back over again.
I really appreciate your help. I ended up going to a few other roms because i became frustrated with S 8.2. After those roms, i decided to give serendipity one more try and everything seems to be working perfectly. Once again i really appre iate all the help

Foursquare app crashing on The End 3.0

Today I've downloaded the foursquare app on my SGA with The End 3.0 and my Foursquare doesn't open, just appear "force close" error. Someone have the same problem?
Can anyone help me? '-'
I noticed some people saying they have trouble with some apps, I don't have time right now to check but I recommend either using vo-1's new rom or the end 2.5 until then since those don't seem to have any problems.
I've installed cm7.2 FAT and solved this problem. And please, take your time and resolve when you can and enjoy to make a new rom.
Sorry for my english

[Q] Unfortunately Maps Has Stopped on CM9

I'm running the latest 9/16 build of CM9 on my Note with AT&T and for the last 4 weeks or so have had NO problems. Starting yesterday I was getting "unfortunately, maps has stopped" messages. Got a couple of them, then all was good, today it started again. I reverted back to 9.1 stable but am still getting the same message. I found a thread in the Nexus 7 forum regarding the same issue but no resolution. I have the latest maps version 6.12.0 and have my GNex and Xoom at my desk with me (GNex running on T-Mobile and the Xoom on Verizon) with no issue whatsoever. I did clear cache and data in the map app and rebooted as was one possible solution in the Nexus 7 thread but that didn't seem like it was a permanent fix based on the other comments.
*AT&T is currently converting my area to LTE (outside of Philadelphia) as we speak though I can't imagine that impacting the maps app but I figured I would mention it just in case.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
This may be wildly coincidental, but I experienced the same messages after trying to install Google Now on CM9. I then re-wiped and re-flashed without issue.
I've been running the latest version since it was posted and I have not added anything new...strange I have not had a single error message since 3 this afternoon??

Have you checked permissions for maps ??
Or fixed permissions for all apps ??
Often times the permissions are wrong ...and the app will produce errors or force close ...
Just thinking out loud ...g
Also ....
Maps is highly dependent on the services framework ....
You could also delete your account info and set it up again ......using the data wipe option ...then load maps again ...g
Again ...just a thought ...g
I have never touched the permissions don't know even where to go to check them?? I will do a little research when I get into work and see if I can figure it out thank you for your advice.
