i searched the q&a forums but nobody seems to have this problem.so i made a new thread.
i flashed the batista70 foxhound 2.4 on my galaxy s2 international edition few days back and since then i cant add telephone contacts to my phone. whenever i click the plus button the screen goes blank and returns to the previous screen again and sometimes this message pops up "process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly" force close.
thanx in advance for your help.
Not sure if you have Google+ installed but pretty sure I've read of people having the same issue on other roms. Deleting Google+ fixed it for them.

Hey guys, I am having some issues with one specific app. The “iradar” by cobra, after installing Twisted Sense 1.5.1 I keep getting FCs. I did not have this issue with any other Rom I had tried before. The app requires Bluetooth and GPS for full functionality, but they are not required. The actual error message is as follows “The application Cobra iRadar (process com.cobra.iradar) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again”. I have tried fixing permission, clearing cache and removing and reinstalling the app, no change. Any suggestions?
I m sorry i can not post a link of the website due to my noob status but you can find background info about the product with a google search "cobrairadar"
Thanks in advance!
Sorry for the question. As soon as I was done posting the question, the company came out /w a new update aimed specifically for FCs on the Thunderbolt. Thanks anyways....

I was flashing a ROMfor the first time from Stock Eclair 2.1
So, as per the Instructions on Simply Honey 5.1 Revolution(JVR GB 2.3.4) Thread,
I flashed the light version ROM using Odin, after doing backup, and cleanup from CWM (so My phone was as from factory, when I was flashing using ODIN.)
The flashing was successful, and the phone rebooted but I saw a lot of pixel tearing during startup until the Android green monster was popping and everything was clear as the language selection menu came up.
I let the phone sit idle for 15mins, after this,, while USB was still plugged in.
I restarted the phone again, and still see the pixel tearing on startup until the Android Green monster pops up.
Iam going to select the language preferences and continue using my phone.
But is there anything which I did wrong, or is there any way I can avoid the pixel tearing during Startup?
Not able to even Receive Calls Now!
Guys please reply!
As I have insufficient no. of posts, therefore I can't post in the thread for Simply honey ROM...
Apart from ,
1.) the screen tearing at startup(as above)
there are other major issues:
2.) If I get a call, the phone would ring for once, and then call will get automatically disconnected with the Network service failing, and a notification would popup that com.android.phone failed or com.android.dialer failed.
3.) Battery is draining at a rapid pace! I know there is fix(/app) to calibrate the battery not showing 100% after full charge. But I observed, I lost around 38% (39 to 1) in around 5hours, with no activity whatsoever, except the alarm(which I think didn't ring when I woke up)
Hey sounds like you ate seeing the rainbow on bootup. You need to Odin the gingerbread bootloaders to clear that up. I believe the simply OP has link out you can search for the actual thread in development section.
As for the calls issue, I haven't had it but there are threads about it in the simply topic. If you search there they have a solution for it....
Hope that helps

thanks for the confirmation. I was not aware u didn't develop for Vibrant as I saw u as one of co-developers of Simply Honey ROM under the Vibrant Thread, but now that u have mentioned I will make sure I don't contact u via pm.
Sent pm to explodingboy70 , waiting for his response now.
Have been almost a week, still haven't got any reply from explodingboy70.
Will flashing bootloader solve my dialer issue, was super busy this week, didn't get time to flash bootloader, so had been without any incoming calls for the past week.
Any pointers for going back to stock 2.1, so that I can start over this process from scratch?
My slide it keyboard will not open up when I go to type. I'm using default android microphone to type. Also when I receive an incoming call slide down answer does not respond
edit: I reinstalled slide it keyboard using titanium backup and it seems to be working but my launcher crashed and screen loses all touch sensitivity until launcher crashes again or reloads

if you are asking for some help in solving this mystery, it would help if you would explain what exactly you have on your setup.
is it stock?
did you flash a rom?
did you flash a mod?
are you using one of those useless task managers?
what launcher?
the more info YOU provide, the better people can help you out
Sorry I figured. I'm Using Galnet MIUI 1.11.9 I guess with zedomax kernel. It comes integrated with a launcher. My phone started going south real bad when I installed Siyah 2.2i Since then I restored to an older kernel. I'm thinking of starting over from scratch with a new rom.

Back on PC. Nothing?
The "launcher" that keeps crashing the phone says is "Activity launcher", it crashes and I can't do anything til it crashes and reboots i guess.
The Keyboard i think it is says: Android Keyboard (process com.google.android.inputmethod.lating) has stopped. Force close or report to MIUI
SwipeIT keyboard doesn't even open (the app does, but no keyboard)
Install another launcher for the mean time. At least it won't keep crashing while you try to figure it out.
It may end up being a rom specific issue. You'll want to check out the galnet miui forums and see if they can help.

FYI!
Samsung Galaxy SIII Stock ROM has leaked! S Voice and all other goodies are up for grabs!
Go to: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1646610
Link for S Voice: [Dropbox Link]http://goo.gl/AgNJk
This works ONLY on ICS. But, just because we have ICS, doesn't mean that it will automatically magically work, it is just that ICS is a prerequisite to make it work.. I don't have a DX2 anymore, so you guys need to test this out and see if it works!
Install it as a system app: Push it to /system/app and change permissions to rx-r--r--. Then, choose "Samsung powered by Vlingo" for Voice input in settings.
Anyway, I am trying to use it on my Droid Incredible 2 on a fairly stable ICS ROM and it is still waaaay too buggy, crashing almost at every search query. So we still need some devs fixing this up!
Thanks, hopefully someone can get this working 100% for us. Did a voice search for Facebook and sure enough it worked. Then I used it to send myself a text message and I'm not in my contacts so I spoke each digit individually and it picked it up and sent my text. Got it and everything lol. Only issue I noticed so far is that when you try to change the wake up phrase from Hi, Galaxy it instantly force closes. But I'll keep playing with it. Thanks again
Edit: Also works for making phone calls. Every once and a while she'll tell me "An unexpected server error has occurred, please try again."
DX2 running ICS on CM9
I am not responsible for what you do to your phone
Hi all,
I have a problem with the Samsung apps/services not working after flashing my S3 with FoxHound ROMS (I am currently on 1.4.4 final but have been using their ROMS since v1.3).
If I look in settings under accounts and sync, my Samsung account has a red circle next to it and at the bottom of the screen it says "Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly". This has been the case for about three weeks (since I started noticing things like my contacts not showing properly in the stock contacts app).
I cannot use S Voice either. Either on Wi-Fi or mobile data. All other internet applications work fine but I constantly get Network errors in S Voice.
Is this a symptom of using a modded ROM and Samsung are blocking my phone or is there an application I should have installed when I was installing FoxHound ROM (has Aroma (??) installer script with lots of extra apps and I didn't install them all).
Thanks all
You should report the issues in Foxhound forum. They will have better idea of what's happening to your phone.

Thought that but clicking any forum links on the http://www.italiancustomstyle.com site goes to http://www.italiancustomstyle.com/Home/?page_id=1046 and just shows a page with "Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn't here." message...
Anyone have a working link? Gonna trawl through the XDA section for FoxHound.
Thanks
