[Q] Restoring to factory 2.2? - Streak 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've sold my streak, and I want to restore it to the factory 2.2. It's an UK O2 device. I found the stock pkg with the o2 rom, but how do I restore the phone?
When I enter recovery mode and select "restore from sd-card" I just get a black screen.
And if I try clockwork mod, it just reboots...
I have streakdroid 1.9 on it now.

Flash KA6 unable to CWM

I flashed the following KA6, and I didn't realize it would wipe my apps and contacts. I took a nanroid backup using CWM beforehand, and I'm trying to boot into CWM to restore my backup. However whenever I tell CWM to reboot into recovery or to restore the backup, the phone reboots into the standard Samsung Andriod e3 recovery, which does not allow me to restore my backup.
How can I get CWM to boot up so I can do a restore?

I figured it out.
I'm having the same problem. How did you fix it?
I have flashed, deleted the clockwork recovery files, re-flashed, rebooted, etc, etc.
I can only get the standard blue recovery mode. I run reinstall packages and all it does is quickly shows it's attempting to install the clockwork update.zip file but just boots back into the blue standard recovery mode. Yes I have confirmed the update.zip file is there. I have removed it, reflashed, rebooted, etc. Running reinstall packages takes me into a constant loop.
This really sux.
Anyone got ideas on what my problem might be?
Thanks
Getting the same, and when I go check on my rom backups of my default OS there are no roms to be found after it says it created them successfully.
I erased any existing update.zip, then I told clockworkmod to reinstall, boot into recovery, in the blue menu I selected reinstall package, it rebooted into blue recovery again, and I selected reinstall package for the second time and then it finally rebooted into clockworkmod.
If this doesn't work you can try to follow this guide to get clockworkmod working again.

In the mist of my experimenting trying to get this to work, I did use the app Quickboot which is on the phone already to boot the phone into download mode. Then I did a hard reset (hold power button for 10 seconds), and tried the whole process I described in the previous post. I would guess this is not necessary, but it's just what I did.

[Q] Recovery

I have a Rogers Dell Streak build 7921 in stock condition with Android 1.6.
I have not modified the phone as yet. I want to be able to get back to stock if needed after I flash roms.
Looking at screen shots of the clockwork recovery on the web, it seems to have a factory reset option.
1.
If I flash clockwork recovery and use nandroid to backup my current rom, can I perform a factory reset after that?
2.
if the answer to the question above is yes,
Will it reset to rogers stock rom?
3.
When the factory reset is performed will the clockwork recovery still be there or will it be back to the original factory recovery?

Bricked X10 - hangs on bootscreen

I'm using CM7 from Jerpelea. I've today flashed the phone with wrong kernel (the one for froyo) and it seems not to boot. I cannot access ADB, it was turned off (I don't know why it was off myself) and I cannot go into xRecovery. Any ideas of doing this w/o reflashing to stock?
you can try reflashing the baseband from the flashtool (remember to uncheck the "wipe data" option).
Tried it, hasn't helped. I'm already after a reflash.
THREAD FOR REMOVAL.

Phone only boots when I choose console=ttyS0,115200.

Hi everybody,
I have a huge problem.
Most of the time, when I power on my phone, it gets stuck at the Motorola-bootscreen. When I choose "console=ttyS0,115200" in the menu, it boots fine.
What happens when I choose that?
I erased everything, the rom, the recovery, the userdata, the radio, the caches,... and flashed back to the full 4.5.91 stock ROM sbf.
I also can not boot into recovery. I flashed Romracer's recovery, but it does not work.
Console=ttys0
Does somebody knows what it does when I choose that?

[Q] LG L35g Optimus Logic stuck in Clockworkmod boot-loop! Please help!

My stats:
LG L35g Optimus Logic from Net10
Running Android 2.3.6
It is rooted.
Clockworkmod 5.8.4.5
Okay, first off this is totally my fault that this phone is stuck.
I was inside the About menu of android and saw there was an update for 2.3.6
So, stupidly, I decided to select it. It downloaded the update, rebooted, and then wound up at the clockworkmod recovery screen.
I tried the "reboot system now" option, but it just reboots back to the recovery screen.
I have used the "wiped data/factory reset" option. I've wiped the cache partition and Dalvik cache.
I didn't backup the stock rom, so I found these two roms for the l35g from here:
AA51
Stock (user modded version)
I used the restore option in recovery mode, but the "Stock" rom above didn't take. The AA51 rom did install fully and told me to reboot. I did, but it still went right back into the boot-loop!
I think the solution to this is to fix the boot-loop issue. Would Zengarden or Xionia help? Then, if so, I need a version of it to work with the l35g.
Please, I REALLY need this phone to work!
Any help will be appreciated!
Thank you.
