I have the htc eris with kayosfroyov39 installed and lost bluetooth in my car for some reason. car cant find phone. stock 2.1 was all good with both earpiece and car working fine , but after I rooted and installed v39 no car bluetooth. any help appreciated. btw, earpiece works fine.

I was just wondering if I'm the only one with this problem.
I am using Becker Cascade radio.
X10 mini connects to it perfectly, keeps connection fine and generally has no connection or setup problems.
But voice quality is very noisy and distorted, like compressed to sub-5kbit codec.
I had similar issue with HTC Hero on firmware 1.6, and it disappeared on 2.1
Other phones (Nokia,iPhone etc) work fine with this stereo.
Did anyone notice this as well ?
Does anyone use car bluetooth handsfree with Android 1.6 successfully ?

this is an general problem with Android 2.1... i have the problem with my bluetooth "headset" in my Nissan... with Android 1.6 i had no problems to connect my phone with the car and the bluetooth audio streaming works to...

I have a weird problem running the latest CM7 updated 5/28, stock froyo radios, and 2.6.35.9-cyanogenmod+slayherathomebrewed#3. Im using a wired heaset because i cant find a bluetooth i like for one reason or another. With th wired headset, when placing or receiving a call, i have to switch to speaker then back to headset to get audio in the headset. works fine for music though. any ideas?

Hi all. First post here. I have an AT&T GS3 running HOMEMADE OmniRom v.20140401 and am having issues with my newly installed Pioneer MVH-X560BT car stereo. The stereo has Bluetooth capabilities for streaming music and taking calls and includes a microphone. Streaming music and calls from the phone works perfectly fine, but the microphone doesn't pick up a word I say. I tried another mic with the unit (which didn't work) and contacted their customer support. They suggested it could be an issue with how the device is interacting with the radio rather than the mic or mic input jack not working. I realized I hadn't used any Bluetooth devices since installing OmniRom, so I tried using a headset this morning. The mic on the bluetooth headset worked fine. The only thing I haven't done is try a different device with the stereo, which I plan on trying later today or tomorrow. Does anybody have any other suggestions on how I can get this to work?

Need some help with phone calls not passing through Bluetooth to my car stereo.
It's a new stereo, the old one died, but I could make/receive calls with it without any problems.
The new stereo recognises BT media audio, but not phone calls (incoming or outgoing).
The BT settings screen shows the car stereo as "Connected (no phone)"
I am using [ROM][Slim][6.0.1][AOSP_r74][Slim 6 For Kenzo][21/11/2016] and I saw two posts here and here from @DoubleDroz experiencing the same issue.
I would ask at that thread, but unfortunately it has been locked by @Umang96.
I've seen this problem mentioned before with some ROMs.
I know the phone's BT works fine because it worked with the previous car stereo only yesterday (and it works with the new stereo for media audio).
I've tried a few apps from the PlayStore but nothing sorted the issue.
Ideally, I'd like to stick with this ROM, old as it might be, as I find it just fine for my needs (I don't play any games, it's work only).
But if I have to install a different ROM to get bluetooth calls in the car I will because it is a necessity.
I don't want to install MIUI though, can't stand it.
I would use Krexus-CAF if it hadn't the issues with GPS navigation, which is also a necessity.
Any ideas or suggestions?
