By full screen, I mean something I can just have on a screen, and leave it there, I've been looking everywhere and I can't find anything like this.
I would like it if it supports at least Windows live messanging :/

I like being able to look at my taskbar when browsing. Anyway to turn off fullscreen browsing?
With you on that one there! Love the fact you get maximum webpage space but just a little bar at the top would be nice, also would enable you to check and respond to notifications without closing the page.
I would like to know if there is a way too ...
anyone figure out a way?
I don't think there is a way to do it with the built in browser which is a bit rubbish really.
An alternative would be to get another browser such as Steel off of the Market but it doesn't feel polished enough to replace the default one to me. Hopefully Opera Mobile is nice when that arrives

What dont you like about the built in one that Opera does better?
I want to see the notification bar as well. I would love to see what's going on on my device while I'm browsing. Now I am forced to close the browser first.
I just tried Steel, but I really miss the multitouch zoom. I'm afraid I'll have to stick with the built-in browser.
I want this too! If only to see my reception / H / E /wifi logo etc just to know how I am connected! Oh and the time
Could someone post an apk with Android's default browser? Maybe if we ask in another sub-forum?
I looked around the forums but couldn't find any good answers/explanations about it, so I decided to ask myself.
The thing is I grew addicted to GoWeather's live wallpapers showcasing the current weather, the HD ones are a true sight for sore eyes, the thing is I dont want it on my home screen because I feel it lags me up a bit, and I also dont like how it transitions on to other screens, but mainly because I like static backgrounds for my home.
So I wanted to set the live wallpaper to appear ONLY in the lockscreen (im using widgetlocker) but I simply can't set it to go there; is there anyway to set a live wallpaper only for the lockscreen? I tried browsing my phone's memory (I own a SE Xperia Neo) to see if I could find the live wallpaper myself and set it manually, but I cant find them on there.
If someone can shed some light on this or where the wallpaper got installed to I'd appreciate it greatly ^^
cheers
Anyone? Anyone at all? *__*
i dont think u can use live wallpaper for only lock screen ..that is all i know
meh, thx anyway >.<
You can have it on the lockscreen but you will also have to have it on ypur home screen. i use go locker to do this but i dont know anyway in which you can have it only for your lock screen. Go locker is a new app so hopefully they will update it the way you want it
Hi all,
I just would like to ask someone to spare literally 2 seconds of their time and drop the market/youtube widget onto their homescreen (the widget thats like layered and staggered) and once its on your home screen, flick the home screen to the next screen along (either direction) but do it VERY SLOWLY.
Now, out of curiosity, do little dots or lines appear on the widget?
Thanks

(Watch it in atleast 720p to properly see it)
If anyone can doublecheck against theirs thatd be great
You need more confirmation?
try another launcher.
I no longer have the tab at hand and won't do until after christmas.
Can no one else look at the video I made and tell me if they get anything similar?
No one? Really?
Well, I noticed them. However they are faint and appear only when scrolling rrreallly slow... So, what? Do you have any info that this means faulty H/W? I think that it is launcher related.
Edit: Used adw and the problem is gone. Plus the widget looks better.

You get them too?
I don't think it means faulty hardware, that's why I was trying to confirm if anyone else had it.
But it seems its launcher related! Thanks!
Anyone else got any input?
I'm fairly sure it's possible but i have no idea how to do it.
Seeing as i have a galaxy s, an inverted browser would be really useful for me to save battery on my amoled screen, and i use opera mini all the time.
But i dont know how to modify the CSS (which is what i think you're meant to do) to get inverted colours (so the background is black and the text is white), but the images stay the same.
A few google searches and xda searches have got me no closer in figuring out how, so please help
I there a Windows 8 lockscreen out yet for Android? The one you see on the commercials where it shows a picture and you do a gesture on the picture to unlock it?
Up this thread.
I'm looking for the windows 8 lockscreen adapted on android tablet. Is this exists ?
Thanks for help
That'd be cool. They seem fairly secure given all the possibilities of touches and gestures one can do.. certainly much better than swiping some dots.
I don't know much about lock screen development though, me thinks it'd be not so simple as creating an app though, it's something that has to be ported/integrated.
here it is guys. And yes, it was made into an app. Its simple to use and very nice. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=32401443
