Is there any good camera apps for the myTouch running an AOSP rom (CM7)?
I mean, the stock is fine, but I want to be able to focus on items like on the stock rom, and or adjust the iso values in the preview. Anything? Could be either free or paid, I'm willing to drop about $3 for a good app that I know will work perfectly fine like the stock rom.
I use Vignette a lot. Can do a lot of cool effects and such. I also use Pudding Camera and I think it has the best camera quality out of all the apps but its all in Korean so its kinda hard to figure out all the settings.
I use Vignette and Camera 360

Is there a way to remap the camera button from default camera to whatever alternative (e.g. 360camera), in similar fashion like genius button remapping?

I have CM7 and I don't mind the camera application. But I was wondering if someone had an alternative that they recommend?
Thanks.

Is there a better camera/video corder for CM?
Sent from my HTC Glacier using XDA App
I've always gone under a Camera360 + lgCamera combo. They're both free and great when you configure them properly.
I'm currently on MIUI, but that's what I did on CM.
I need a camera with touchto focus on video

For photos I use Vignette & Camera360.

to be honest, the MIUI Camera is pretty awesome... takes pictures almost like Sense, except its a bit too sharp.

Sorry for hijacking but is there an app where you can focus on one color and when you take a picture, only that color appears?
Vignette has color isolation, plus many other settings.
Something else to play with if you're in to great contrasting photos is HDR Camera. It takes a steady hand but a great camera app to add.

I second this. Very good camera app indeed.
Does anyone know of a working live wallpaper that will set whatever my camera sees as the wallpaper? It sounded neat so I tried to look for something. I found a free one on the market and it seriously messed up my phones screen.

I tired that and it made my phone wig out hard. The screen was flickering really bad. Looked a some one flipping through a flip book. I had to use my backup to restore the phone because the screen was totally unusable.
c-thruFone is one I have used.
It worked for me but the only downside was you couldnt go to the camera app when the wallpaper was active

eh, I like the HTC flashlight app better for its simplicity and three step brightness. I found the apk from either the sensation or the EVO 3d, it works but you have to tap above and to the left of the button by about an inch. I don't know why that is but otherwise works fine.
its bc they are different screen resolutions i think
It's a sense 2.1 app, not completely compatable with 3.5.

Tesla has various options for different brightness and even strobe/etc.
I personally like this one.

I like that one too. And this one just as much:

I like Tiny Flashlight because it has two screen lights, one white and one you can color how you like. But I like Color Flashlight HD because you can dim it but there's only one screen light so you have to change the color if you want it different. Although since it can be dimmed I might not care about color. I just want something low light that I can use to help me see menus in dark restaurants. Or else I guess I could start dating guys that aren't embarrassed to be seen with me. lol.
And I like the extras on both. Don't know when I would actually need or use them, but I like them. Especially the warning lights and the text.
