I have CM7 and I don't mind the camera application. But I was wondering if someone had an alternative that they recommend?
Thanks.

Is there any good camera apps for the myTouch running an AOSP rom (CM7)?
I mean, the stock is fine, but I want to be able to focus on items like on the stock rom, and or adjust the iso values in the preview. Anything? Could be either free or paid, I'm willing to drop about $3 for a good app that I know will work perfectly fine like the stock rom.
I use Vignette a lot. Can do a lot of cool effects and such. I also use Pudding Camera and I think it has the best camera quality out of all the apps but its all in Korean so its kinda hard to figure out all the settings.
I use Vignette and Camera 360

Is there a way to remap the camera button from default camera to whatever alternative (e.g. 360camera), in similar fashion like genius button remapping?

I've always gone under a Camera360 + lgCamera combo. They're both free and great when you configure them properly.
I'm currently on MIUI, but that's what I did on CM.
I need a camera with touchto focus on video

to be honest, the MIUI Camera is pretty awesome... takes pictures almost like Sense, except its a bit too sharp.

Sorry for hijacking but is there an app where you can focus on one color and when you take a picture, only that color appears?
Vignette has color isolation, plus many other settings.
Something else to play with if you're in to great contrasting photos is HDR Camera. It takes a steady hand but a great camera app to add.

I second this. Very good camera app indeed.
Does anyone know of a working live wallpaper that will set whatever my camera sees as the wallpaper? It sounded neat so I tried to look for something. I found a free one on the market and it seriously messed up my phones screen.

I tired that and it made my phone wig out hard. The screen was flickering really bad. Looked a some one flipping through a flip book. I had to use my backup to restore the phone because the screen was totally unusable.
c-thruFone is one I have used.
It worked for me but the only downside was you couldnt go to the camera app when the wallpaper was active

This one works perfect! Can't launch camera while using it but that's fine with me. Thank you!

wondering if there were any alternate galleries for our phones. i really don't like our stock gallery. i used to think it was decent before our gb update.
i downloaded justpictures and quickpic from the market. didn't like justpictures. quickpic was okay... didn't entirely like the interface.
also wondering if we could install a gallery from another phone? i like my friend's gallery on his lg g2x. i was thinking i could find an apk from a gallery that i like and try to install it on my phone.
oh. and wondering if this MIUI gallery apk would work.
thoughts? concerns? complaints?
thanks in advance.
I use quickpic. The MIUI does work. Not sure what you're expecting, but quickpic is awesome IMO.
+ 1 on quickpic

This may not be the best place to post this question but here goes an way. I just got my One in the mail yesterday! I'm switching from the HTC vivid and the only flaw I can find with this beautifully crafted device is that there is no built in/stock messaging widget like the one I have from sense 4. So my question is would one of the devs be willing to recode the one from sense 4 to work with sense 5.
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app
You can use apw widgets. It's not as good as sense 4s but they work.

I'll check it out I'm currently usingng sms widget it works and dosent take up as much space on the screen, but it's not the familiar widget that I'm used to
