if it looks to good to be true.......chance is this is like many sites in china......con, I used to get loads of ads of these kinds of companies with stuff mega cheap, just google them and see, other chance is that it is a cheap copy.

Yeah, I know you are desperate to have the phone like the rest of us. You're not the only one here to have rational thought overtaken by gadget-lust, you should see the number of guys here who purchased 32GB microSD cards for "amazing prices", only to receive fakes.
When you're buying electronics you should really only ever stick to reputable sellers - anything online that looks too good to be true is a sham.

Yea got a bid so far! I personally dont like windows mobile 7, android all the way for me. This was the upgrade Orange offered as they dont have the HD for now and so getting this and selling it for one
I'm finding myself in a similar position, I wanted the HD but they have sent me this out. It'll be here Monday also. I imagine there will be more listings after Monday for sure, good thinking on getting that head start. I think I'd rather do that than pay £7 to send it back to Orange.

Exaclty yeah, I want the HD but they dont have it as of yet therefore selling the unwanted Mozart for it. I was the first on ebay but now there are 3 others, one of which was 'highly inspired' by the wording of my listing down to the letter at points lol but my lisitng is at £499 so far being lead by an American, perhaps they cant get this phone right now, VERY curious to see how high this goes!
I intend on picking up the HD from a Phones4u store as soon as the cash transfers

On a side note, there still aren't very many videos on the nook tablet yet. Mostly just comparing it to the amazon fire or nook color videos.

Or when they delivered $1500 printer in original box, with make, model, picture, etc on the box. They didn't feel like lifting it up 1 flight of stairs and left it by the door or a private house. And this is not in suburbia. It was basically sitting on a Brooklyn street.
Actually this is how my wifes Black Friday transformer was left and it has worried me since then. Since when was signature not required he norm.

There have been some very real quality issues with this device. Particularly with the GPS (which MAY have turned out just to be a software issue, but may not be).
For you to write those issues off by saying that people were trolling is extremely irresponsible.
There has been some direct trolling, but the volume of the negative reviews have been from honest owners.
I appreciate the honest opinions here - it can be tough to fish out the trolls from the honest folk though.
Ah there are simply too many people that are looking for an ipad but buying the Prime, imho... And then there are many people that only look at the small things that arent perfect yet and not at the big picture.
I still have not found a big enough reason to cancel my preorder (ships mid january here) and there are so many people here trying really hard to ***** about this Tablet
On the other hand, if I was getting the TP mainly for GPS navigation in my car i wouldnt do it. But for the things i intend to do with it (surfing&youtube, watching movies, gaming _with a gamepad_ +emulators and text input), there's still nothing better and wont be anytime soon.

Well said. As for the people trying to make a quick buck by selling it on ebay good on you but if its defective that's just mean and PayPal could refund the item. Amazon is still the 12th and Ebuyer is 17 to 25 days..Ahhhhh
I opt'd to cancel my prime order...no gps and poor wifi performance... not for $600 so I canceled the dock and tablet order *sigh* am very disappointed...
I have one that I'm selling for $650 here locally on Craigslist in Eugene OR. I think I'm the only one in Eugene that has it. If I sell it I can buy a dock for my second Prime.

The wifi is fine and there is a GPS. You didnt even receive it, yet you assume that these issues exist in all TFPs, which they don't.

Good thing I'm selling it on Craigslist. Its funny how some people are oblivious to the Prime. One guy laughed at me and sent me a link to what he thought was the same tablet. It was the tf101 lol. Asking me why he should buy mine and not the one he found for $400. So I of course educated him a bit and told him off.

Anyone know where I can get a screw for the i717. I need it for the back plate. It's bugging the hell out of me knowing one screw is missing. OCD I know. I don't want to try ebay because the last time I ordered one for an iphone, it was some cheap stuff.
I would be taking out another screw and take it to the hardware store.
