I downloaded the xCyanogenMini - Gigglebread - v10 couple days ago...
Today I finally got the xRecovery to work after 3 days.
Flashed my X10 Mini Pro with xCyanogenMini v10, phone now stuck in bootloop.
Tried to plug it into SESU, but it says i already have the latest firmware and there is no option to repair or force reflash.
How do you refresh your phone or to fix the bootloop problem?

It should have a button labeled "Install". Just click it.

The install button should still be there and xCyanogenmini v10 is for x10mini not pro the x10 mini pro version is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1041099
Hope this helps
Plug your phone into the usb, hold down back while pressing power and menu and release only the power and menu button when the phone reboots (keep in the back button until the flash starts)
There has to be a fresh reflash option, the bottom right of the screen
Wasn't that for x10 mini (non-pro) only? I read that method. But doesn't seem to work, or i was having problem pressing the power and home and back at the same time lol, was kind of awkward to press 3 buttons AND plug in the USB cable.
also my phone doesn't seem to charge power anymore when i plug in the cable hum...
Let me try it and get back to you, thanks a lot.
Doesn't seem to work, SEUS just say i have the latest firmware. I don't think it matters whether i use the HOME + PWR button, because i pulled the battery before and then just do the regular USB cable + BACK on SEUS before and it also detected my phone, but just won't flash it.
Question though, when i plug the USB cable first, my phone goes into charging mode (orange light), am i suppose to do that HOME+PWR+BACK method when the phone is on charging mode??
Or should i do it on SEUS, failed to flash -> went into some non-charging state (with green light).
Did you look in the bottom right hand corner of the screen when you got the "latest FW" screen??
If the phone is charging while connected to your PC USB you can do the Home+Power+Back method but if you can just pull the battery and the Back thats fine too.
I'm not sure what you mean by the non charging state though, does the led flash every 2 seconds or so when plugged into a power source? If so then your battery might be too flat and SEUS might prevent you from flashing until theres enough charge (40% should be fine) that is, if you've looked in the bottom right of the screen to see if the "Install" button is there, please confirm this as it can seem inconspicuous.
Ok after much digging on google, i've finally found a way to re-flash my phone. Here is how...
- Download FlashTool 2.8.0
- Download the UK 2.1 firmware for Mini Pro
- Extract the UK 2.1 firmware into a folder, say for example: FlashTool/UK_2.1_minipro
- Run FlashTool -> Advanced -> Bundle creaction
- Point to your FlashTool/UK_2.1_minipro
- Select all the files on the left panel and add them to the right side
- On top right, type in something in the 3 text fields, doesn't really matter what
- Hit Next and select "X10 Mini Pro"
- Wait for it to finish building the bundle
- Disconnect the USB cable if your phone is connected
- Hold BACK and plug the USB cable
- Hit Flash on your FlashTool and select the newly created Bundle earlier
- Wait for it to finish flashing
- Reboot your phone and you will be able to boot back into your phone
- Now run SEUS, and do the same thing to re-flash your phone back to the latest OEM firmware
- You can then decide to flash it to whatever ROM you want after (you will need to go through all the root/xRecovery/busybox/etc/ again)
Cheers!
Many thanks for christophermaisch on helping me along all these times across a few threads!!!
Jeez that sux! I've never had that before, thats where my knowledge runs out I'm afraid. Have you looked on the Mini Pro forums? See if nobodyatall of owain can help you, they port ROMs so they would have the most knowledge.
Sorry man, good luck
Yup yup, i am going there now. I first stumble this X10 Mini forum (without Pro) from google search, and i thought this is the only forum about it lol...
I just found out last night that there is another Pro sub-section hahaha...
Thanks dude!
Cool dude, glad you got it sorted! I know now for the future too.

Hi all. I have multiple problems in my x10i.it has 2.1 It was rooted and worked fine..few days ago I tried to wipe the phone and did the master reset via xrecovery ..after the restart it just hanged at the boot logo and xrecovery is not working from then....I wanted to update with SEUS via USB... but the phone is not connecting as well...What should I do? PLZ HELP ME GUYZ........
Hi,
Seus doesn't recognize your x10 even if you hold back button while plugging usb (flash mode) ?
This week my x10 2.1 crashed (I suppose it was because of rooting with superoneclick without rebooting immediatly), and wasn't recognized by windows. It was in a loop turnig on/off and only putting off battery could turn it off really. Big Problem.
The only solution I found : putting off battery, pluggin usb cable, holding back button and putting on battery. Back button still hold (like flash mode) until seus recognize x10. Then it runs alone and install rom (after I rooted with flashtools and launched jit optimisation, witch increase truely x10 performances!).
Probably seus not recognize your phone because you have a rooted and custom firmware in your x10 and xrecovery is not working because you did a reset and then you delete some files from your phone, you can reinstall it with the x10flashtool or to make a complete restore firmware whit the same x10flashtool
If SEUS/PCC doesn`t recognize your phone, remove them from PC and reinstall them.
You have an USB driver problem

Did you wait for at least 30 seconds before putting battery inside phone (to make sure clearing all memories? And sure you hold back button before, during and after?
Otherwise, what does happen if you press and hold volume button before turning on the phone (and keep volume button hold)?

Well your usb is definitly working then as its glowin green?..
Are you sure you are doing it all right? It happened the same to me, and it ended I was pressing the wrong buttom (I knew which one was the correct one, but was blind cause I was scared that Ive broke it totally), a day later I noticed it and I was able to flash my phone.
However, read a guide and follow it step by step, reinstall everything and start from beginning maybe?
Or use the repair function with PC Companion
Hi! I had the same problem!
1. Search and download from this forum Flashtool 0.2.6
2. Install it.
3. Download from this forum one generic ROM (for exemple X10i_2.1.A.435_GLOBAL-GGL GENERIC 1232-9897 )
4. Put the file in directory Flashtool/firmware
5. Launch X10flashtool.exe
6. DO NOT PUT THE USB CABLE IN THE PHONE
7.From option "flash select the desired ROM
8. Wait the program to begin(a picture will appear)
9. Pressing the back button, insert the usb cable.
10. Wait the flashing to begin and release the back button.
Follow instructions and WAIT around 5 minutes until flashing will complete
11. Send me two words if it helps you! Success!

In order for anyone to assist you your post must be edited to include your phone model, ROM, and kernel(if applicable). If the phone is completely stock then this might not be the place to look(take it back to the store) otherwise some googleing might help you before you post.

I tried to flash nAa kernel(unlocked bootloader successfully before) with flashtool and flastool said it succeed. When i reboot my phone it comes up with nAa kernel screen and reboots again. It goes into an infinite loop within rebooting phone, only showing nAa kernel splash screen, nothing more and reboot. I can reach to cwm recovery. I flashed the latest MiniCM7-2.2.0 custom rom and wiped user data/cache. Same problem remained.
I decided to go back the original stock kernel and rom via flashtool. You know the rest; you select the stock files then press ok then it says "oh, ungplug usb, power off, hold back button and plug in usb again". I did this steps several times but flashtool cant recognize my phone. Not even a blink. The weird thing is, when i power off my phone and plugin usb(not doing the holding back button thing) the green light is on(it is not offline charging i know it) same as it goes into flashmode. I tried flashtool again with hope but couldnt recognized phone again. Even S1 tool cant recognize my phone. It seems completly lost!
I tried hopelessly with Pc Companion and get the same result. I found a post about "Gordons Gate Driver" but couldnt get any result with that. No tool can recognize my phone in flashmode, in normal mode(talking about the infinite rebooting state, not even a blink from flashtool).
Im out of ideas, even out of google . Is there someone to provide me with new idea? Or is there something im missing? Please help.
Thank you for reading my adventure hope someone helps.

Hi everyone,
I have problems with my x10 mini - probably there is issue with bootloader - phone doesn't rised after reflashing stock FW.
Let me start from the beginning:
1) I wanted to have MiniCM10 on my phone
2) I unlocked bootloader (procedure taken from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1254225)
3) I flashed nAa jb kernel (procedure taken from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1837135)
4) and then problems occur
5) My xperia catched a bootloop (stuck on nAa animation)
6) I flashed stock kernel (using Flashtool)
7) My xperia catched a bootloop (stuck on SE animation)
8) I did factory reset and wipe cache in recovery X - did not help
9) I flashed stock ROM (using Flashtool)
10) xperia powered on, vibrated, blinked for a few times and went to sleep...
Currently I cannot get into flashmode (back button+USB in) so I cannot use either flashtool to reflash the rom or SEUS (or SMUS now).
Is there any other way to get xperia into flash mode? Is there any way to bring my phone to life? Currently, my computer recognizes x10 as x8, and flashtool gives info that it is in MTP mode.
I have experence in flashing Samsung (i5700 and i9000), although this tiny phone is quite a challange
Thank you for your help.

Well, if your phone turns off by itself waiting for battery-death doesn't do any good, especially since you just charged it all night Could take months...
Start it up with usb connected already and flashtool ready to flash (with the popup on screen), as soon as the screen-backlight ligths up press power- and home-buttons together and press the back-button when the light goes off again.

Well, I guess, the first time you flashed the JB kernel, you tried to run it on stock ROM... that doesn't work.
Don't know if you did the formats required for the jb-rom, but that would have prevented the stock rom from running properly.
And maybe the cache and dalvik-cache were still filled with old junk from a previous ROM, preventing the new ones from starting properly.
one of these, or a combination maybe... i'm not sure...
Today i tried to flash my x10 mini using flashtool and this kernel: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1256739&highlight=custom+gingerbread+kernel and now my phone is dead, and when i say dead i mean completely dead (cannot even connect in flashmode). Note: this is not the first time i flashed my x10 mini and i never had this problem!
How did i do this? Well, i dont know what i did wrong, i followed the steps as i always do;
-downloaded the latest flashtool
-installed the drivers, both for flashtool and for x10 mini
-downloaded ftf file for the kernel and placed it in the /firmware directory
-entered the flashmode and flashed my phone (everything was working fine and i read the output provided by flashtool, everything seemed to be fine, no errors)
-then i disconnected my phone, and now it's dead.
I tried:
to disconnect the battery
to charge it for a while (i don't know why, but someone said it might help)
connect in flashtool (yes i hold the back button while connecting my phone and did everything as i did before - the only difference is that the green LED doesn't light up! it's dead)
hold power and home button for a while - nothing happened
Anyone else has any idea? I tried everything that i could think of, my phone doesn't respond - no vibrate, no LED, nothing.
Since i tried to install MIUI, but didn't got to that part - my phone has now probably a broken kernel and no ROM whatsoever. I cannot re-flash the kernel because the flashmode doesn't work.
So, any idea?
(oh yeah, i realize that there are some threads with this question - but no real answer, either the OP didn't provide enough info, or the answer is to re-flash the kernel, so i decided to make a new thread)
1 - Maybe you forgot to unlock the bootloader.
2 - Maybe you forgot to install a Custom Rom after you flashed the kernel. The original android version that comes with the phone doesn't work on custom kernels.
3 - If the problem is not one of these 2, then use the Sony Update Service, download it, then you just have to select your model on the program and it will tell you to press the Back Button on the phone and then connect it with usb (still holding the back button), this will bring the phone to it's original state (Stock Android) and back to life.
If i helped press thanks

2 - Maybe you forgot to install a Custom Rom after you flashed the kernel. The original android version that comes with the phone doesn't work on custom kernels.
3 - If the problem is not one of these 2, then use the Sony Update Service, download it, then you just have to select your model on the program and it will tell you to press the Back Button on the phone and then connect it with usb (still holding the back button), this will bring the phone to it's original state (Stock Android) and back to life.
If i helped press thanks

1. I unlocked bootloader a year ago, unless the bootloader re-locked himself that is not the problem. I said it is not the first time i done it.
2. I didn't install any custom ROM, because the second i plugged my phone out of my laptop (after the flashing was finished) it was dead. No chance to power it on, no chance to enter the flashmode again.
3. I cannot enter the flashmode, if i hold the back button on my phone while inserting the usb cable in - NOTHING happens.
My phone is probably hard bricked. Good thing my warranty expired 1 month ago :S.

If your phone doesn't charge in any way (cable or usb) and doesn't complete the Stock Android Instalation by the Sony Ericksson Update Service then it really is hardware problem that can only be solved by Sony Ericksson :S, the problem is that they will see that the kernel is changed or modified and you gotta pay a lot of money for repairing, so probably a new phone is the best way out if the phone really is dead :S, unless of course you lie to them and they don't figure it out.
Did you install all the necessary drivers? like, installing Pc Companion (will install drivers) from sony ericksson?
