Whenever I try to put my phone on vibration it does not work like if i receive a notification or a text and my phone is srt on vibration it wont vibrate at all and this issue is on all 2.2 roms and up any clue why?

Your issue is odd and would rarely happen..
Apart from asking you to reboot or even factory reset,
of course I've got a clue for you, just making switching modes a bit inconvenient, but solving the problem is the most important isnt it
download VIBRATE MODE BY FORCE from the market and check the boxes you want
(ignore the market previews, it will translate itself once it goes to your phone)
This app can also help other ppl who wish not to accidently turn on their volume when they are in meetings / schools!

I found the the problem.. it was a turn to silent app which was causing this.. removed it... and nw its fine..

Whenever people send me messages over 160 characters, I only get the second half of the message. It knows there is more cause it says 2/2 bur the first half never comes. Does anyone know of a fix for this? Thanks!

Give it some time its most likely a carrier thing. Try turning on and off airplane mode a few times and rebooting
If you feel creative you could flash a new radio to your device to see if that fixes it

I install the latest CM7 rom on my phone,i noticed that my phone disconnect to network(2G) and after a while reconnect every few minutes.

I don't have this issue but I do have another bug that isn't mentioned anywhere and it's the vibration not working (haptic feedback) on the menu and back buttons. Do you have the same?

When I receive a call and my phone is set to vibrate, it vibrates a short one, and the rest are long. Is this normal for the sgs2? I never noticed it before I updated ota.

Hey guys, I am currently running a gs2 with cm9 rom, and the cm9 kernel, however if I have my phone on any of the profiles I.e silent vibrate or loud etc, I constantly switches between the profiles automatically, roughly every ten seconds .
Things I have done:
Flashed a newer nightly
Crashed system UI and restarted it.
Done all the wipes when flashing roms.
Changed between themes and icon packs.
Any other options for me guys? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advanced guys

Try to set Profile to default (hold Power key) and then switch sound mode.

Strange thing.
Try to:
1. flash RC (http://download.cyanogenmod.com/get/jenkins/3457/cm-9.0.0-RC1-galaxys2.zip)
2. make Nandroid backup, format system, flash CM9 again
3. change kernel
4. make logcat (aLogcat form GPlay or through adb on PC)
I have no more ideas right now.
