Transfer any apps you can to the sdcard seems like the obvious move, and I think there's a few apps on the market that will clear the cache for you

Only running two ROM slots. Stock and ROM slot 1 and am getting insufficient storage when trying to update apps. Any ideas?
Wipe cache? Google music cache?
How big are the ROM slots?

Have you checked to see how much space you actually have available on your system partition? A couple of ROMs and space hungry apps, or old data from deleted apps can fill it up quick

Are you playing a game called "Wild Blood" (it had a bad habit of making huge save files which ate up a lot of my memory) and have you tried clearing cache, cache files are generated every time you use certain applications, for example Chrome browser may generate more than 100mb of cache data .
