Brightness Question? - Fascinate Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So I turned off auto brightness by clicking on the screen brightness and unchecking the box where is says "auto brightness". I then used the widget and set my brightness to 0%. However whenever I open an App (for EX: browser) my screen gets brighter by itself. And yes I also have the powersaving thing unticked. Any ideas? Thankss.

The browser has its own brightness setting. Push the menu softkey while in the browser to change it.

Toggle function rotation backlight

Hi all,
I use energy rom "cookie hometab". I tried also energy rom "max sense". I know in max sense are some additionally toggle functions. Is it also possible to toggle "auto rotation" and "backlight" without max sense?
I want to set a shortcut (directlink) to switch on and off the automatic rotation. I dont mean a shortcut to rotate the screen manually. It would also be nice if there is also a possibility to do same for backlight.
Thx a lot!

Screen timeout stops processes... how to control?

When downloading a file, or installing a game such as the gameloft ones (which have a long download sequence at the beginning): I have to keep the screen timeout at very high values or else the download ends and the app stops when the timeout occurs.
Is there a workaround for this, for example where you could run a very long download yet have the screen off?
Change your Wi-fi sleep policy to 'Never' in Wireless and Networks- Wi-Fi settings- Advanced settings (by pressing Menu key).
Regards.

Second Screen Toggle Shortcut?

Sometimes I like the second screen (when the main screen is off) and sometimes I don't. Is there a way to create a shortcut to on/off toggle "show second screen when main screen is off" easily? Thanks.
I was able to make a short cut to the second screen toggle settings page and put it in the second screen, but yes I'd love a toggle to quickly turn it off and on.

Always on Screen

I have seen in a video of the Find X. The screen can be set to always on like the S8.
But for the life of me I can't find the option. Any hints?
Thanks
Well on the EU versions you can go to Settings> display & brightness > Screen Clock (right below auto screen Off time )
not sure how this is on chinese versions though..
Yes the option is there but it says "Screen clock is disabled when screen-off gestures are turned on"
Maybe it because I turned on double tap to wake hmmmm
Thanks dude
Yep. So it's either double touch to wake or Screen clock. But not both like the S8
Now to sort out how to get the apps in alphabetical order.

Controlling timeout of the lock screen before it goes blank

Sorry for the trivial question, but I cannot find a user setting to increase that.
Is there any on Android 11?
It should be hightlighted:
NOT the option - "Display / Screen timeout" which determines when the "Home screen" goes blank
But the unknown option which determines when the "Lock screen" goes blank,
On my Samsung with Android 11 the "Display / Screen timeout" is set to 30 s, however my "Lock screen" goes blank after 5 s . I want to increase that.

Ticket.
There is no such an option in the Settings of Display nor "Home screen" nor "Lock screen".
Ok, I have found the solution:
Open the Settings app.
Navigate to Lock screen > Secure lock settings.
Tap on “Auto lock when screen turns off.”
Set a longer time according to your preference.
BUT BUT BUT
when you have only "SWIPE" type of your Lock Screen Type, you dont have the "Secure lock settings" option.
In my opinion it is a bug?
But maybe there are some reasons that "Swipe" Lock screen MUST go blank in 5 secs only.
