Try all the different releases of the market and report back. I'm sure that will fix it for ya.

Doesn't work, can't install 2.2.7.apk and 2.2.11.apk and when I try to flash 2.2.11 it says com.wsandroid.apk is missing, so flashing also doesn't help..

Android market 2.2.6 patched!

This is not my work. I just found this patched version on wildfire's forum and it works just fine with nfinity rom
Here is the original thread, if you have problems:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=831782
Anything for 1.6 like this?
Work fine on SPQRom -0.7
excellent, i'll download straight away
It says it cannot find build.prop. Is it not possible just to push it into /system/app ?
I get the same error on SP-FroYo ROM

Yes, just open the zip file and extract vending.apk
I get FC all the time on my Tattoo with SP-FroYo ROM
can't install it on nfinity froyo 1.15(can't find build.prop)
If you cannot flash it, open zip and find vending.apk, extract it and the push it or copy it(if you use a prog like android commander or android manager) to /system/app. Then reboot.
Thanks, it works perfectly! I deleted old vending.apk (after backup) and pushed the new one.
But i understand why it was not made for Tattoo, look at the screenshots.

I dont know why but it doesn't work for me on SPq ROM 0.7 and nFinity 0.15
I don't know about SPQRom, but I tested this on nfinity rom(1.13 and 1.15) and on kalimocho's latest version and works fine. Try to clear data for market from settings - applications.
It doesn't work because it's made with Wildfire build.prop someone has to put in our build.prop and resign it. I honestly don't know how to do it.
I can flash it without problems. I have clockwordmod recovery image for tattoo.
Anyway here is the patch with corrected build.prop
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=10102232&postcount=37
working like charm
I have a 1722 result for video, up 200 from 1.82,
and it is very fast and nice on nfinity 1.15 OC to 710Hz
Cheers
Vuk
Just flashed it and FC
Any tips?
Latest Market running on Stock ROM 1.6 (donut)
Hi guys, apparently there's a version of the latest Market app that works on Tattoo with android 1.6, take a look at this post
I'm going to test it, hopefully it will work.
Regards!
I have cm6.1.1 would it work on it?(g2)
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App
I have resigned the latest patched (v2.2.7) market (source) using tattoo build.prop.
Have confirmation of working on Tattoo cm6.1 roms, but on sense froyo needs data and cache wipe after flashing the update
here is the link for the post

Edit: Sorry dancer_69 I missed your earlier post about the same link.

Have you tried a redownload of the ROM, comparing the MD5 Hash of the download, perform a FULL data and dalvik wipe and reflash the ROM, GAPPs and C2C if you use it?

No I'm not sure what the md5 is so I didn't download that. I have tried redownloadind and performed the full wipe procedures. And may I ask what C2C is?

Two things. First I've used GSB v2.9 and my GPS works just fine. "I tried GPS fix apps" is rather non-specific. There are at least a few of them out there and some of them do almost nothing. That being said, I agree that a full wipe/reflash is warranted.
GSB 3.0 is out, you can find it here: [ROM][4/25/2011] GSB v3.0 | GingerBread 2.3.3 [CM7.0.2 NIGHTLY]

Doesn't the "supersonic" listed before the change mean that the change applies to the HTC supersonic phone, as opposed to the ones listed as "common" refer to changes that are common across the board?

I think that you're right. That said, GPS has been rock-solid on GSB for my phone as well. I was using it constantly last week on 2.9 while traveling and it was perfect, with very rapid lock, etc. Now, I did do a flash-over of 2.8 (which may have been flashed over 2.7 -I don't remember at this point.) You may want to try installing an older version (or Nandroid restore, if you already have it), see if GPS works, then flash 3.0 (and gapps, of course) over that with a Dalvik wipe.

[GAPPS] [UPDATED] [Android 2.3.5 GB] 07/25

Credit goes to BrwnSuperman for finding these and then I took them and put them in a cwm flashable zip. So, I figured I would post this in the Development section (Mods feel free to move it if you see fit) since many of us are on mtd roms and most of these roms have been updated to the new 2.3.5 Android code. Here are the updated 2.3.5 GB gapps: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?67t2077vf4q3zd6 Included are the new gtalk, new car home, new market, updated google search, and all the rest of the little system service apps etc. that can't be downloaded from the market. All (I think) updated to 2.3.5. Flash from cwm recovery and enjoy.
Edit: here is a mirror as it was reported that there was a problem with the mediafire link: http://www.multiupload.com/Q184Q5YS09

curious
just noticed that i have not installed GAPPS since i first came on board on the 07/04 build, i also installed the new market..not sure if that has anything to do with it......so has anyone else installed the new market and from there havent had any issues? running the 07/28 build....and still the new market works...
Can't Google apps be updated via the market...I flashed the one listed in the OP of the CM7 thread, but have updated through the market, so are these newer than that?
Also, if I am on CM7 7/18 winch is Android 2.3.4...would flashing this screw up something?

Well, I know google talk can't be updated through the market and yes, these are the gapps that came from the nexus 2.3.5 code release earlier this week. All the little google services apps are updated as well, not just the main apps. You can just wipe cache/dalvik and flash these but you might have to erase the old ones manually.
Can I remove some of the apk that I am not going to use in the gapps.zip?
Just installed on latest CM7 (not the nightly), runs good. I've been wanting this new gtalk, if only it could be updated via the market. Thanks thanks

So I hope I am not the only one with this issue, but when I flash it either on CM7 or JTs AOSP 2.3.5 rom, after I select what apps I want, the loading just keeps spinning and spinning until I rotate the screen, then I select to install, then it keeps spinning again until I rotate back, and I have to do that with EVERY app during the initial app installs, and this was also after a complete wipe of DATA, cache and Dalvik

i setup falsh 10.3 ,good for the rom.
Download the lates version of the flash player (Attached) and put these files in /data/data/com.adobe.flashplayer/lib/. Change permissions of all files to 644, reboot and see that flash works perfectly.
@Ianis G. Vasilev: how to cook your rom used effectively? Because it is used for stock rom.
Sorry, but I don't understand what are you trying to ask me.
I mean your tips for stock rom, but gingercrust cook a rom. If you do so effectively?
It applies to all ROMs, not only stock.
Thank you very much
The problem for me is that when I install these files, they get deleted on reboot. I'm on stock rom with Optimus S.
i have said it before i will say iit once agin, the flash player 10.3 is already included, you dont need to reinstall it.
actually "flash 3.10" is not installed in gingercrust 1.3, but the app file of "flash 3.10" located in system / app, just use explorer to root and install it.
p / s: in system / app is: "Adobe flash for ARMv6 10.3" and FlashLitePlugin_fix, install both.
update 1.4 now
v1.3, v1.4 as the "whatismyflash.com" were reported as: none (or disable).
How to have Flash? Please help people. Thank you very much.

GAPPS(market, maps, gmail, gtalk) are not bundled with any CM. you gotta flash the appropriate version as separately from recovery.
GAPPS(Gtalk, Gmail, market, maps etc) are not bundled with CM7 due to copyright reasons.
Download GAPPS here and flash with recovery.

yeah thanks guys... i got it working no after installing gapps. thanks again.
