Is it possible to create a shortcut to the 'applications' function in the settings menu?
Basically I want a shortcut to that task killer.
Can this be done, and if so, how?
Thanks.
download and install anycut

guys where can i find the setting for the menu botton? i accidentally checked the "apply always" option. i want to revert it back where when you click it once it will pick options for what desktop application you will choose.
thanks guys.
Try settings, applications, manage applications, find the app you chose to always apply, click on it and then click clear defaults.

thanks for the reply
the "always apply" app the i accidentally click was "home".
there is no home in the "application" settings.
then you can try to install another launcher like launcherpro or adw(vice versa) change it then you can uninstall the third launcher afterwards
First download AnyCut from the Market/Play Store
Then go to Add >Shortcuts > Anycut > Activities > Android keyboard Debug settings > Ok.
Select the created shortcut and enjoy.
Nice find!

I'm surprised that hasn't been brought up before. Great find!
Yeah I came across an article looking for a themed version of the stock ics keyboard and found this instead. Which was perfect because I actually enjoy the GB keyboard look. Apparently this menu was accessible in the original ics release from Google but they hid the accessibility through system settings in later releases for some reason.
Is it possible to add more themes?

Anything's possible. These are just the themes that Google built in.

Thanks in advance!!

I believe add means add in the homescreen. Go to the homescreen and press-hold it and the menu appears with add on it. You can also press the menu button of the phone and choose add.
Can anyone tell me how to remap my menu key on s2 to open recent apps/task manager on long press. Is it possible?
Nobody?
Use Nova launcher. You will see the option under Nova settings > Gesture and buttons > Long press menu

Is there any way to get this option in apex launcher?
Hey,
need a fast way to disable/enable an app. Shortcut would be nice. If it's not possible, shortcut to show application info will be ok.
Is there an app for that purpose?
Thank you!

+1 to this question! Specifically Kakaotalk has wakelocks but i need it thus i would like to enable/disable easily quickly... any advice would be appreciated!
I'm not sure if this is a feasible option, but you could try the nova launcher. It gives you option to go to app info on long-pressing the shortcut.

Is it possible to somehow create a shortcut to a specific setting with JB either with tasker or some other app? I'd like to quickly be able to get to the setting where you can quickly enable/disable notifications for an app.
Thanks

If you wanna create something like an shortcut to eg the battery in the android settings, you could use nova launcher. It has the option to start a single activity from an app.
