Consider the x10 mini (Cyanogen mod question) - XPERIA X10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Dear all,
I shall buy a second-hand X10 mini by the end of this month. The first thing I shall do is put CM onto it. I know that CM is not offcially supported on the X10 mini, and many developers have made this possible through their hard word.
My questions:
One CM-styled ROM has a specific baseband requirement. How easy is it to install new basebands into the X10 mini, and where are these available from?
Regards,
F.

I dunno, but there is a x10mini thread. Plz post your question there.

Thanks for pointing out. I found the dl for firmware 2.1 mini (not mini pro), again from NORDIC, and updated #1 accordingly.

thank you
I separated the mini/mini pro ROMs and did some small adjustments
still, this thread is not state of the art anymore, I'm simply lacking the time
I would love to keep it up-to-date, if you (the members in general) would provide the required input
Thnx

First of all... you post in the wrong forum.... this is mini development and since you have pro go to the mini pro section....
2nd... in the mini pro development forum you can see all the guides on how to flash your phone to android 2.2/2.3... please read all the Q&A as all your question can be answered there.
3rd... Tyou do not need app2sd as they are already method of native app2sd in 2.2/2.3... You only need it if you are planning on staying on 2.1 as the eclair does not support such funtion...
Hope that helps..p/s welcome to the community

[Q] new x10 mini pro HD

can someone tell me where to find facts about the new mini. want to now if they have added dualtouch to it. it looks like and awesome screen maybe its have a nice digitizer also.
This should be asked in Q&A thread.
here you have about nev Mini Pro http://www.gsmarena.com/sony_ericsson_xperia_x10_mini_pro2-3713.php
And yes it have dualtouch.correct me if im wrong
"Multi touch input method"
Guess they do have it
it is no x10 it is just named:
"xperia mini pro"
and it has natively android gingerbread (2.3.x) installed.
You will also not be able to install any of the custom roms provided in this forum. it is a completely new mobile phone with other hardware named similar but not the same
And I can not await it!!
thanks for all your answers guys can always count on you. sorry if i posted this in the wrong forum its kind of a jungle in here when you are a noob
PLEASE move this if it is posted the wrong place

Wrong forum. We have a Q&A forum for that. You should also decide on your own which is best by testing it.
Sorry I created a thread there, please close this thread.
There is no best, it is whats best for you...which may not be best for others....
