I have an Expansys UK and no menu for internet Calls ?
Samsung removed it from Touchwiz 4; not sure why. Only thing I could suggest would be to install something like SipDroid.

Hi,
i have FlyHoney ROM v0.2 running on my HTC flyer and I´m wondering if I somehow can use the Sip-Telephony-Feature as in GB? Could not find it in the Settings Menu...
I dont even know that feature in Gingerbread but I use CSipSimple http://code.google.com/p/csipsimple/ for getting Google Voice SIP calls on the Flyer-HC in Europe (via IPKall and Callcentric).
Hey All---a Q.
I really wanted to configure SIP calling through the native (inbuilt) client in ICS. However, since AOKP doesn't have a 'phone' app for the galaxy tab p4, I can't find where the internet calling settings would be!
Anyone have a thoughts / advice?
I'd really like to avoid having to run a separate app if I can. The native features work great on my galaxy nexus!
(I was rocking groove ip for a while, but the call quality sucks. like, unusable.)
hi has anyone got the on board SIP client running on the GT I9300? mines setup and when I turn it on it answers an incoming voip call but later in the day i find ive had all these missed calls, so im guessing its not holding the data open or reconnecting after a data loss.
Sipdroid works fine so its not a data issue on the handset, I just need the SIP as it is louder (i have hearing loss)
As the title says.
I I have been trying to configure my galaxy s2 so I can use the default SIP client in the native dialer to make phone calls over my at home wifi connection.
So far the closest I have gotten is the phone will dial the number but then I get a time-out.
I can use the MajicJack app on the phone to make calls over this same wi-fi. But when I try to use the native dialer to make calls I cant get it to work.
Any ideas?
I currently use iptel.org as my sip account.
Im not sure if I need to port forward on my router? Or maybe Im not inputting the "optional settings" in properly in the native dialer settings. Anyone have any ideas?
Im still learning about how to do this stuff. Need to be noob friendly please.
I've searched the different forums for the S3 without luck, so please if this has already been answered let me know what thread.
I am moving from an AT&T branded Tab S to a US Cellular branded Tab S3 on AT&T. I've asked and confirmed they updated the IMEI on the AT&T side to reflect the Tab S3. What I would like to do is get the same calls and texts on the Tab S3 as my S8+. I know I can get other apps like Google Voice to make calls but I would like to connect the Tab as the primary bluetooth device in my car (along with other reasons) so would like in those cases to just use the Tab for all actions.
I know the Tab is not AT&T branded, but wasn't sure if the AT&T Phone Tablet apk has been extracted and possibly installed on another unlocked device.
Have you checked any of the apk sites like apkmirror?
AFAIK there are no phone apps for tablets. The Galaxy Tab S3 I have doesn't have a SIM card but I see the uscellular site has 4GLTE version but my understanding is that is data only, not phone calls. You would have to use any VOIP app like Google Voice, Hangouts, Allo, etc to make "calls" but as a phone and receiving phone calls I don't think the Tab S3 can do what you want unless you are on Project Fi and can use hangouts to receive calls. I know when Project Fi gets a call on my number I can also have hangouts ring on my tablet. But I think that is Project Fi specific. I'm not aware of any ATT app that can provide that functionality.
Thanks @aspexil I was looking for something similar to what the AT&T branded Tab S has. There's a phone app that when clicked launches their NumberSync configuration so calls from your phone can be routed to the tablet if needed. I'll check apkmirror and see if anything comes up!
@alfredtv if you still have the Tab S you could get the apk from there? There are plenty of tools and sites that describe how to do that even on a non-rooted device. Good luck it sounds like a neat app.
