Has anyone else have Wifi issues since rooting and installing the 2.2.2 Liberated ROM? I tried reinstalling Liberated R08 a...I've cleared caches and done a factory reset.
Please ask in the liberated thread.

This first happened on GSB 1.9, then I wiped and flashed the newest version and still got this same error. Wiped and flashed gingerTazz and it happened again.
The problem seems to be when rebooting the phone. After a fresh wipe/flash/formatted sd card this still happens
The process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.
Obviously I did some research and found a few different answers, but my real concern is why this is still happening after reflashes/wipes/switching roms, and it's always after a reboot. The phone shows no service and can't connect to service, but has had no problems 2 days prior until I had to turn it off.
I've also tried wiping dalvik cache before rebooting, wiping dalvik and fixing uid mismatches, and wiping data+dalvik. Still happens, anyone know what the deal is?
(this is all on gingerbread roms, so I guess I'll flash a froyo one in the meantime, but this just recently started happening, and i've been on 2.3 since the roms started rolling out.)
My fiance had the same problem and he wiped the dalvk and data a bunch of times one right after the other due to he didn't really know what he was doing and then flashed ginger tazz and its worked ever since. I know that doesn't help much but maybe some one else will answer.

Might be a good idea to delete Android secure from the SD card. Then wipe and reflash the Rom.

How did you flash and what baseband are you running? I did a factory reset, flashed stock recovery, flashed stock 354 rom, flashed streakmod recovery, flashed 1.9.1, then did a Dell factory reset. Sounds worse than it really is. I haven't experienced your problem (nor other problems posted by other users) and can only assume that flashing over a fresh stock rom install in some way helps.
Did a cursory test of wifi tethering and it seems to work fine.
Paired my old iphone 3g and browsed a bit and no hitches.
Have you tried doing a factory reset? Installing streakdroid leaves all data in place so reinstalling is only half of it

Im pretty sure did the same thing more or less.. i forgot to mention that it used to work until i tried to create a password for users to connect, upon trying to change or enable a wep code, the activity crashed and since then, it gave me errors everytime i try to enable tethering...

Help needed again. Yesterday I installed Ken's 4.5.91 2.3.4 and have had 2 re-occuring errors ever since. Calendar storage ( force closed) com.android.calendar., and com.motorola.suggestions.scheduler (forced close). These errors reappear at random times. There was 1 more but I didn't get it written down... something about poll scheduler.....
Can I reinstall from my sdcard and possibly fix this?
Yes , I would reinstalled you should wipe via fastboot so you know it wipes everything. CWM dont wipe everything. then try the kp rom again i have no problem with mine.
Hello,
I am in desperate need of help. I recently flashed my SGS2 with CM7 and everything went well. I also flashed Gapps as recommended by the CM website.
I was able to download my application back from the market but not I am not able to as the Market keeps on force closing. I cannot install/ download any application and I am in desperate need of some of my applications.
Steps taken:
clear cache and data
Flashed gapps
installed a newer and older version of Marketplace.apk
cleared Dalvaik cache
Select English (Canada) in setting (as I found this to work for some users)
I did pretty much every I found and can think of in short of flashing my ROM again.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
did I mention I'm a noob
So here is the situation:
I previously had 7.1.0 rc1 thunderbolt kang and wanted to update to the latest cm7 version (7.1.1). I wipe cache and dalvik and tried installing and my phone got stuck on the boot screen. I then decided to wipe data and reinstalling but same **** happened. I then decided to try to reinstall my previous version (7.1.0) and now i have no service and my baseband version is now unknown. I've tried different radios for this version and nothing works. I need my phone for my work and having no phone right now is killing me. does anyone know why this is happening ? thanks
try loading latest .906 radio, wiping data/cache/dalvik & don't forget to format system... then install your rom
This happened to me once. All else fails, download the latest RUU and load it on the phone. You will lose root, but you will have a phone and you can reroot later....

just try all the radio combos until u find one that works, your phone is fine
