Hey all. I might be teaching ESL in South Korea in January. I was wondering would this phone work there and would I be able to connect to the internet there? Also what are some pros/cons of this phone vs the American version? Thanks for all your help!
Hi there guys,
In the advent of so many new modems for different countries, I'd like to hear your recommendations for the South East Asia region namely, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and the like.
I'm currently on DXLPA but I would like to try something better. Any ideas?
Hi,
Somebody can know me, somebody may not.
I'm doing firmware list for LG phones. You can see my good list in g2 section.
Since lg changed something we don't have an access for new phones since lg flex.
I think that everybody want to know when g2mini will get new fresh updates but nobody will do kdz list so you must wait when invidual users will tell you.
I have a deal for this situation.
@update:
Ok so first thing is that I must know every G2 Mini codename models.
For example for LG G2 there are a lot of codenames:

Ok so I bought a sim-free variant from some store and it turns out the phone is Russian which means no bixby and some occasional Russian videos on the "bixby home" but more importantly - slower updates(I didn't get the october camera update yet)
is there any way to change the firmware to the US version or would that be the same as asking to turn an S4 into an S8?
by the way exynos version, thanks in advance
It's exynos you can change to almost any version that is not America or Canada because it's Snapdragon over there I'm from the United Kingdom so I recommend the BTU build because it's the stock UK one and gets updates straight away and bixby fully works I got mine on carrier and I flashed to BTU within the first week but the one thing I'd be worried about is that if it works for your carrier if it doesn't you have to go to the Russia firmware. (The UK also uses Exynos)
I have an unlocked S21 that is up to date.
Late model BMW's have the ability to use NFC to lock/unlock/start the vehicle however support from Samsung only seems to be in Europe, UK, USA & Korea, I understand this only came in a recent update (last month or two) I believe it is updates to "Samsung Pass" that enable this.
As my phone is the same model as say a UK one, am I amble to flash the firmware from UK potentially enabling this feature? Assume I will lose 5g support?
