hey man stop drinking... that **** powerfull xD
no its not possible to run ios on android phones.
you should look for MIUI roms. they are iphone like.
and if you want ios you should look for an Iphone not android powered phone
i think about the question : when you want iOS buy an Iphone
So... if I understand, you want an android to run an emulator to run android? No. Perhaps I don't understand.

But iOS is running on HTC Magic but u sad this is not possible on adroid phones
Im not an expert , but android is an open source where developers can see the codes & modify it the way they want ... and for sure they can modify it to work on an Iphone or Ipod hardware
on the other hand, IOS is closed source ( with zillion lock!)
so it's almost impossible to make it running on other devices,,, and if it does it will be only 20% functional
short story long,,, users who switched to android are fed up because of IOS and it's lack of any customization whatsoever !! ALL Iphones have the same look ! it's like all Iphone users are wearing blue jeans and black shirt !!!
so I dont think there are a lot of android users willing to give away the freedom of the android & use IOS !!
Without getting into a debate over iOS vs Android, it isn't possible to run iOS on the Mini Pro as it would require having an unlocked bootloader (which we do not have)

even if you have an iphone you would be unable to port it. its like writing something from scratch for the mini pro.
by the way stupid question.

Just I think it's interesting...
Anyway it's easier to port MIUI (and with easier I mean, less hard)
1. we need a unlocked bootloader.
2. need to write alot of code from scratch.
3. iOS sucks.
I could imagine someone wanting a linux distro... but iOS... seriously...

@OP: Keep dreaming, maybe one day you'll get it (in your dreams). Whats the point of running iOS on our MP anyway, even if someone managed to port it it would be laggy as hell.
BTW: iOS walled garden fail.

and yes you can run android on a iphone.
So, as our Xperia S is ARM based I thought it would be great to port Windows 8 to Xperia S. It would look great on SONY's HD screen, and all those colorfull Windows 8 tabs would look just fantastic. Let's think of it, and do something.
wouldn't this be so fricking hard to port?
Sent with my Sony Xperia S using a little bit of KA magic.
pretty much impossible since windows is closed source so therefore finding a way to get hardware working is beyond possible.
if you wanted a windows phone you should of brought one , if you want an android phone to look like a windows phone then download W7 Launcher ;0
NO!
You see, android is not that smooth on this phone, it usually hangs, and design is not as good as it should be, I'm SE fan since childhood so I wont by any other phone, but SONY users must have easy choice what OS to install on the phone
Short answer: no. The internals of WinRT are closer to desktop and WinMo8 is very, very hardware dependant. This means that getting any hardware support on that without Microsoft is going to be very, very, EXTREMELY hard.
But, you must admit, that Win8 or Win7 would look great on XS ))) Just imagine it, I'm not fan of Windows phones, I really like android but Dualcore 1.5 Is not enough to run smooth

No, really this phones are really slow, that's why we need better OS that uses less memory and cpu, for example when I open browser and music player, my music starts glitching and sometimes phone even hangs, its very stupid for 1GB ram phone, so lets do something about porting Windows, or something like that.

It's not because the phone is unable to run Android, it's because of bugs in Sony's firmware. CM10 is very fast for me and capable of running 5-10 apps with music in the background and zero stutter.
Android is smooth as butter on my XS running FXP131 CM9, There was nothing really wrong with it on the stock firmware except that Sony somehow felt the need to leave out WiFi Direct, If you want Windows phone, Go and buy a windows phone, The XS is way overpowered for it.

There's a fix for that stutter... Works on every single rom...
Go to system and change in build.prop the following values:
dalvik.vm.heapgrowthlimit=32m
dalvik.vm.heapsize=64m
Save and reboot...
Enjoy!!!

You see, there is one problem about it, SONY XPERIA S is not a cheap phone, when I pay a lot of money for it, is should work as smooth as watch, developer must do it's best to solve those firmware bugs, and SONY is just ignoring all our requests.

What about WiFi Direct, Will they include that in the update ?
So here it is:
http://developer.android.com/about/versions/kitkat.html
About Bluetooth:
Android 4.4 support for two new Bluetooth profiles to let apps support a broader range of low-power and media interactions. Bluetooth HID over GATT (HOGP) gives apps a low-latency link with low-power peripheral devices such as mice, joysticks, and keyboards. Bluetooth MAP lets your apps exchange messages with a nearby device, for example an automotive terminal for handsfree use or another mobile device. As an extension to Bluetooth AVRCP 1.3, users can now set absolute volume on the system from their Bluetooth devices.
Platform support for HOGP, MAP, and AVRCP is built on the Bluedroid Bluetooth stack introduced by Google and Broadcom in Android 4.2. Support is available right away on Nexus devices and other Android-compatible devices that offer compatible Bluetooth capabilities.
About RAM managing:
Android 4.4 is designed to run fast, smooth, and responsively on a much broader range of devices than ever before — including on millions of entry-level devices around the world that have as little as 512MB RAM.
KitKat streamlines every major component to reduce memory use and introduces new APIs and tools to help you create innovative, responsive, memory-efficient applications.
OEMs building the next generation of Android devices can take advantage of targeted recommendations and options to run Android 4.4 efficiently, even on low-memory devices. Dalvik JIT code cache tuning, kernel samepage merging (KSM), swap to zRAM, and other optimizations help manage memory. New configuration options let OEMs tune out-of-memory levels for processes, set graphics cache sizes, control memory reclaim, and more.

Well no it didnt...
Only low res phones were cabable for upgrade and high end like Xperia Arc didnt so they could not just update cheap phones without expensive one.
Anyway they are Sony Ericsson phones now not from Sony so thats another reason.

I think it's time to write a message to Sony to be so kind and make at least the new drivers that fits to KitKat to help the XU, P, Go XDA devs to make a proper Rom. Fingers crossed.
Even though Galaxy Nexus is fully compatible with Android 4.4, Google is not upgrading it. Xperia P, Go, U and Sola users shouldn't pin hopes at all. Even if Sony were to upgrade older phones, they would rather focus on their flagship like S and ion instead of budget phones like U and Sola..

TI isn't active on the market anymore. That's probably the reason for not supporting Gnex. (why make new drivers and such when you don't release new products...)

That is logical, but I would like KitKat on my Sola so much. The ICS made this great phone a crippled device, so if KitKat runs on 512MB devices, then it's a great opportunity to bring the Sola back to life.

my opinion is it they dont come with their own wifi chip to connect to other networks and run independantly from phone than its just a nicer interface and exact same thing as the galaxy gear which stinks in my opinion compared to the truesmart, callisto, and motoactv. which all can run independant of phone.

The question is not about the android wear devices but the operating system. I would also be interested in trying out the android wear version of Android on my Omate. From the videos it seems very similar to the Google Glass OS that runs on Glass. I used my Omate as my primary phone for a while but the microphone was not too good so I switched back to my main phone for a bit. I would love to see the ease and simpler screens of the Android Wear OS on my Omate.
It's basically Now as your UI. It requires a minimium of 4.3 on the host device and 4.4ish on the device it's running on.

Actually it wouldn't take any porting at all. Someone created an Android Wear launcher .apk, but it's only compatible with 4.4. Hurry up Omate! Or should I say Umeox?
I asked about Android Wear on their facebook. They said they have the SDK and the OS and are working to see if it's something to can make available to Omate users. But it's in the hands of mediatek mostly.

This is a longshot, but I don't know the details yet. What if it will all be built into the Google Search app, and we need some kind of xposed module to enable it? That would make sense if this was a year ago, but Google seemingly wants to making apps easier, lighter, and thinner so only general features are there. Who knows at this point.
Android wear needs a 4.3 firmware OE better. The TrueSmart is already eol at the shipped 4.2.2...right ?
Maybe they are planning another cheapass half-baked device to sell to their massive happy user base ? TrueSmart 2 ?

I completely agree. I'm pretty much done with the Omate at this point. I almost feel bad about selling it to someone.
Hi. Do you know after a few month of android wear if it's possible to put it on a TS ?
It's possible. It would be incredibly difficult.
I love my old Google Nexus S. It has a fantastic screen and I'd love to hang on to it, but have watched it become slower and slower with the Android updates. I guess I'm happy running Jellybean on it, but is there a decent Android version which will restore it to its original speed?
