set my device to HTC Vision in build.prop
set manufacturer to HTC
installed netflix.apk
restart... watching spongebob squarepants right now
EDIT: colors are a little off sync, someone come up with a more compatible modification?
I used the Nexus settings, works great, well except the colors are sorta washed out (faces go between black and white and a orange jersey shore look) and there's an ugly green bar that spans across the top (anybody else seeing that?)
But it does work!
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA App (lol)
Tried the HTC settings but got the same results, same green bar along the top and odd colors. Also restored my build.prop settings and got the 'not supported' error. Back to Nexus S settings for now... heh

restore my build.props uninstalled the previous version of netflix, installed the version without the device check, rebooted... confirmed working Thanks!
EDIT: still has yellow band above the screen
Confirmed working via changing the build.prop on my Rogers device in Canada. Yay... but colours are bad
I couldn't get the other method to work, the second file wouldn't install.

Ditto, I got the 'green bar' across the top, colors washed out, same as before. But now I have my original build.prop installed! Cool...

Im not big on creating new threads but I noticed alot of threads asking about removing bubbles so I created some apks of mymode themes that have the bubbles removed. enjoy

EDIT: Should mention I am using SlideMeRoot5r1. I haven't tested it on stock or other roms, but it should work.
ok I have included system themes now. just push these to /system/app/"themename".apk
example: go into recovery and in adb do: adb push C:\Android\Hoops.apk /system/app/Hoops.apk

Great stuff! Also works fine on a non-rooted phone. Is there anyway you can put something under the icon text? Those of us with light backgrounds have a tough time reading the text.
Any way you could do this for Nest? I mainly use that theme with different wallpaper. Awesome job btw.

Only issue I came across is that the preview images for these do not load in the mymodes app when you're changing the themes.
Also, randomly it froze up and kept trying to reload the home page but kept freezing and repeating. If this happens, just power down and back on.
It'd be great to see the other themes get this as well
Previews showed for me, I really like these as well.

my phone is not rooted.
I got the issue solved now.
This is just a warning for those with non rooted:
Your phone could freeze up from these modified theme files.
If they do, you will not be able to get past the mytouch slide startup screen.
If you get frozen you will have to do a long battery pull (i let me out for almost 7 hours, i'm sure its shorter, i just did it while i was as work), then boot into recovery mode. This shoot then boot to the red triangle/exclamation. pull battery again (short pull), power phone up to the boot manager and do a fastboot. Hopefully if anyone else goes thru this, it will help them. I wouldnt want to see anyone else freaking out like i was this morning.
Note:Hard reset wont fix this issue
Here's a little edit of Clearbar. Just changed the color and some of the icons.
Nice work! I'm glad to see people put their own spin on my theme.
Hey looks great. I downloaded but mm says the theme is invalid because one of the control items could be missing. ??? I really like what you got here. Any ideas?

Thanks y'all.
Otten I'll look into that when I get home and see what's up.
Two Questions
Install using the regular update.zip?
Looking at the pic, what UI are you using?..really neat.

Thanks,
1) I used metamorph with it.
2) Using Launcherpro plus.
I reloaded last night and didn't receive any errors, so I added a different zip of this, dropboxed from my phone so hopefully that fixes the issue?
Ok. Couple of things. New file won't even unzip. Manually applied the original and it applied but, bars is black and clear at times. Battery icon won't change. Several other icons not there. Weird. Still says control file is missing or not written correctly (contact theme creator) sorry brother.

Hi all
I am using streak but can't find good screenshot program. Anyone solve this problem?
If i take a screenshot, it took reversed. I have to rotate that to see. That bugs me.
Plz. Help me. Thanks guys.
Sent from my Dell Streak using Tapatalk
I personally use drocap2 but I have to rotate the shot.
ScreenshotIT has a rotate option in the menu but I haven't had good luck with it
The issue with the rotated screen shots is a Streak issue, all of the screen shot apps do it.
drocpa2 with the swap endian setting checked and screenshot by Kastersoft (formerly GikSoft) work for me.
I tried a paid app that had a setting for auto-rotating the images but they cam out pink. (don't remember which one)

Marvin, I think that was the ScreenshotIt app that I also tried, which has a menu setting that will rectify the "pink" issue, BUT only the pink issue, more times than not my screenshot looked like a negative, which there is also an option for, but it didn't always work, so I switched back to drocap2 and it never gives me any problems.
I don't understand why it defaults to display the image in portrait mode if the Streak, at least mine anyway, is default landscape. I wrote the devs back a while ago and they responded that they are working an a fix just for tablets that should take care of the Streak and anything else 5" and up, so I'm anxious to see that
For me the best way is using a desktop application called myphoneexplorer it is very useful and has an option to take shot.

Yeah I've got that but I'm not always connected to my computers when I need a screenshot so I stopped using it

You might want to link to that. The Screenshot It I found is $3.99, there is a free trial that will take 5 screenshots. Sometimes the names are similar.
ok, will do.
The developer has finally fixed the "tint" issue with Screenshot It.
Now it works like it should, & it's a breeze taking screenshots.
You still have to tick the "flip picture" box, but that's all.
I believe it's the best screenshot app for the Streak.
If having to flip the screenshots manually after taking them really bugs you Screenhot It does have a setting for flipping them automatically. I found two apps with that name, so since none of the posters who recommended Screenshot It linked to it, I will.
Screenshot It trial
You can test with the trial version, the paid version is $4, which is a too much IMO.
The trail version says that you get 5 test shots, I only got three and when I took the third a dialog box popped up urging me to buy from the market that could not be dismissed (I didn't try killing the app) so you could not even finish processing the last screenshot (I wanted to see how the share options were handled) . When I ran Screenshot It to see if it had an exit option on the menu after taking the last screenshot the notice to buy also popped up and I could not even browse the settings.
For an app that costs $4 the trail is too short and too limited.
BTW - the attachment was taken with drocap2, which is still my favorite screenshot app.

WOW!!!!!...How much did it cost and from where did you buy?
Here's the Market link to Kastor Soft Screenshot. I used this one, and other than the image being inverted (easily fixed on the PC), worked quite well.

@XperianPro
When i change my wallpaper p.ex. for a yellow one, i still have the light bar displaying the Blue Light from the Blue Theme...
I think that this app makes the lightbar display the colour based on the Wallpaper and not based on the Theme...
Gotta try the app
This thing works ! Great job stracian! Now if you could add an option to crop the pic it would be great.

Well app works great.

Works well for me. You can also change back to another wallpaper the regular way and keep the colour led's. Nice option for unrooted users.
Thanks!
EDIT:
When using dark pictures, like black ones with only a few colour elements the average is very dark, resulting in the bar lighting up at lowest brightness. Not really a problem for me, just wanted to give some feedback.

You download the apk file and once done, you tap on the file and it asks you for installing. Did you allowed installing unsigned apps ?

Hi, I´ve installed and it works nice. But how to unload from memory without needing to unistall?
Thanks,
Alexandre
app has no cache data or some others data.
this dont need to unload from memory.
just uninstall or set some theme.
@ououououo:
thank you, yes i need any feedback i know, that is like you describe. i dont know for now, how to drop color from grey scale if detect.
I can't install this, it says "application not installed". Any suggestions? I have installing unsigned apps enabled.
Never mind. Installed, but I better like the default leds.
I installed it, but I didn't like it so I unninstaled. But now when i change my wallpaper the colour stays as it was when I had this app.
Any ideas how to change my colour?
I thought I'd share with everyone that the app/home replacement named THEMER is finally LG G3 Compatible as of today.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mycolorscreen.themer&hl=en
If you aren't familiar, all you do is install the app, chose from one of over a hundred themes you like, and apply it. Widgets, backgrounds, everything on yours will look just like the pictures in the app gallery.
I've been using it for quite some time on my Nexus 5, and was happy to find out it worked fine on the G3 via restore from TIBU when I upgraded.
Doesn't seem to be working for me, says themer is not detecting a supported resolution

If you have modified your dpi or the size of your navigation bar it'll throw that error. They need to be set to stock.

Do know you what the stock nav bar height is by any chance?
I do not, but if you changed it using g3 tweaks box you can just turn that section of the tweakbox off and go back to stock.
You might need to do a quick search of all of the G3 forums to find the correct answer
Here's some info about DPI
