when i start vtl launcher it show force close
plse help i want this launcher
AFAIK vtl is for tablets, not for HVGA phones... You may wait for the next update, but it won't give you sureness it will work.

It's the launcher from the Samsung Galaxy S phones. It runs on MDPI screensm but it's not quite right because the Galaxy S phones are all HDPI.
Bumping this thread. It would be nice with TocuhWiz on Legend.

You can get very similar look with using ADW launcher, and download Galaxy S theme.
Adw launcher is nothing like touchwiz..

I've been using the TW Launcher from Bi-winning on Malice 2.3 and some other ROMS. but somehow when i try to push that Launcher on Cm7/MIUI, it does not install. Is it because its not compatible? Can someone please tell me how to do it? I usually just use Root Explorer to copy the apk to system/app and its installed already when i press Home. Thanks alot and sorry for the noob question
I don't think it is compatible seems to me I remember another posting talking about this. You might go with launcher pro or ADW ex both are awesome or... if you really want bells and whistles spb you can try out free from applanet site

I'm just testing this ROM again and I found one problem (despite the fact that it's a gorgeous ROM) and that's the SE launcher. The stock launcher with it has the corners which I'm not a fan of (it's too small as screen). If I try to remove that launcher an put in any other SE launcher e.g. my favourite, the Arc, it works UNTIL you reboot/backup/flash the phone. When you come back to the main screen it says com.sonyericsson.something has crashed.
The only way around is either using the stock launcher or installing a non-SE launcher, which I've done until I can figure it out.
Anyone know what to do? As I say my aim is to use the Arc launcher which works on any other Gingerbread ROM I use, except this one.

and i am using cm 7 and it give a problem of force close for adw launcher and screen revolution can u plz sugest me any way to come out from this

Hi man!! I was also disappointed with adw launcher with this bad behaviour, forcing closes and else... So I decided to look for another launcher... I tried Go Launcher, which is more stable, but eats a lot of ram, and now I'm using Zeam Launcher, which runs perfectly in my mini... Its smooth, fast and stable, no force closes till now...

Just want to know if there is a way to get the eclair/donut launcher to work on the newer versions... why it crashes when we try to open them? i want to see that old school tab that you pull up on my N7, is it possible?:laugh:
