Every rep I spoke to since I joined Sprint said 1 year. Now they're telling me it take 1.5 years. I don't truly care about a $5 charge, just the fact that they will lie to me, and won't do anything to fix the problem. My whole family is AT&T, and I think we're all going to Verizon...

I feel you but I see allot of probs with the sgs2 as I dig deep into the forums but what phone is perfect its great benchmarks ok but so do.many others and no way would I switch from sprint to ATT unless they pay me to LOL

Im one of those people who need to get a new phone every few months and after hacking playing with the vibrant for some time its awesome. However the vibrant wwas going to be my permanent phone but now with everyone getting blackberrys it makes me want to get one just for bbm. I know theres apps such as kik and ping but not the real deal. I have simple mobile (t-mobile for those who havent heard of it)rright now unlimited everything for 60 a month. I would probaly get an umlimited boost mobile blackberry plan for the same exact prize no tax or anything. Would you stay with the vibrant or get a blackberry. Or wait till the new ish*t comes out and ssee if it brings a new chat service?

I've had a total of 3 blackberries and none of them compare to the Vibrant or even a G1 (seriously). The lack of good free apps, the lack of touch screen, the screen isn't big enough, blackberries tend to get real sluggish over time, the lack of full customization etc. I can go on for years. The one thing I love about blackberry is that its phones are luxurious looking. In a way its somewhat exotic. At least in my opinion.

Agreed. But I expect that from someone that lives their life according to a fictional book. The education system has failed us in the US and these primitive sky wizard worshipers are a prime example of what happens when you don't pay attention in school. I was just in a sprint store at a mall here in baltimore and was talking to the manager about the free tethering on the nexus. I told him i really want the evo3d but this really has me reconsidering. He told me not so fast lol.....sprint is well aware how upset the evo community is over this and hes been hearing from corporate friends that the evo will be free also. I started another thread kind of complaining about sprint but if what he says is true man i have alot of my own words im gona have to eat come next month lol

I been following the sensation forums, its been pretty active and a lot of progress is being made. It too bad our 3d forums had to suffer because people could not follow the rules. It looks like whatever is done to the sensation it compatible with our EVOs.

seems to be the biggest thing people use when justifying turning in their phones if it isn't S-off by the thirty days. Please let's not discuss that part here there are like 3 threads dedicated to this already. My question is have any developers come out and said this or are people just talking out of their anuses? I would love any developer to chime in.

This will be a better question to pose 30 days from now... right now we are still in the 30-day window for launch-day purchasers. There is still a frantic effort to unlock this beast and HTC is dealing with the mass of bureaucracy that large companies with partnerships and contracts must deal with.
Obviously the sooner the unlock the better...but the 30-day window is a freebie.
As long as virus is cooking them I'm happy.....

Is it really that funny and honestly trolling how bc I rather have a better phone I can care less about dev work being on this phone it just seems like they pushed out a bit to fast to me and 3d isnt all that great and after my epic kinda fell in love with Samsung. Don't get me wrong had the first evo and the shift and personally I think Samsung makes better hardware. Is that a problem for me to say I rather have the sgs2 and its supposed to be out at the end of the month for what my phone guy told me that works a corporate so idk rumor whatever but so mean for an opinion and yes I guess I will just have to man up till then or get another phone so yea

Yes it really is that funny. Wanting/liking a better phone is one thing. But coming into a thread that has nothing to do With said phone and not even explaining your point of view makes you a troll. I cant remember if its in the Q&A or General, but someone asked a similar question directly to the devs, and if theyll actually get it perm rooted/s-off.

I dunno what I really wanna stick too I have a epic on the way I got off ebay 1 month old. I might stick with it for awhile seems fine with me or might snag a nexus s tho the part that sucks about the nexus is no HD filming like the epic.
I know the nexus s is easy as hell to root which in the long wrong I might swing too or just keep the epic and root it .
Dunno the 3D is not my thing fast phone looks good nice layout but not my thing. Epic is a slight downgrade not much tho the OS is alil old and what not but takes good pics and films feels good in the hands. So does the nexus s.
So im stuck in between which phone to keeep lol.
I think u on the Missing Root boat lol man good luck both are good phones, I say stick with the epic man seems better than the Nexus

Im still on the boat with folks I just been busy man with work and I have a baby on the way due in august so I have more important things to attend to also work is slow as hell so im doing what i can to make money .

Thanks man we are pretty excited our first one for wife and I just been getting settled in and everything lined up. I will still be on the threads helping everyone when I get the time. Thanks again man im happy your on the threads and liked virus work.
Virus does some outstanding work and rom wise when the 3D gets full root he will make some sweet roms for it I know the epic has a bunch out it will slowly move up to 2.3 soon ....

The 3D is great the Galaxy 2 should be pretty sweet when it comes out. I think HTC will unlock the Evo 3d pretty soon after that 30 day period runs out for the launch day folks.
Im hoping root comes out soon tho lots of folks are going stock crazy and want full root. The Nexus S is 100 dollars now on sprint and so is the Evo. The Epic is 150 still.
