Thank's for reply...is it normal??
if can..i want to extend the battery life..any suggestion for apps??thank's...
If you wanna extend the battery life you should uninstall all apps that can possibly keep the phone awake. more apps needing CPU = less battery life.
also lower the display lighting if you have high battery use of it.

Yes, it's normal
Turning down the brightness will of course help.
Normal seem to be about 12-40 hours. Some apps are badly behaved, others just take a lot of power. It seems there might be a few OS bugs which come and go depending on exactly how you use the phone - some ROMS/kernels seem to help but it is difficult to be specific. Check the BetterBatteryStats thread for some ideas on debugging.
18 hours is decent, it all depends on how you use the phone.
If for 10 hours your phone's screen was on, then ofc this is amazing.

What is your brightness setting? When you are in the battery usage page, click on Display and tell us how many hours the display was on.
You should also check if your phone is on standby mode properly. When you press the awake button and the phone awoken instantly, then you need to restart the phone until it doesn't (e.g. 1-2 second delay is good). I had this problem before and it ate my battery like crazy.
Sleepy cat: my brightness setting is auto & already running for 1hr 38m...since i charge..last night..and the display percentage is 55%...how to reduce it??..
i already reduce my brightness.....
How to reduce battery use by display: Dont use it.
Simply flash the LeoMar75 2.4 RevolutioN Rom. The best rom!!!

I personally found the SolarFlare rom much better compared to many other roms. Have the longest battery life on that.
Use auto brightness, use running services to close what programs/services you don't need(for example I always close skype, yahoo messager, update software, out of milk etc...depends on what you have installed on it and what you don't need ) use static wallpaper and most important charge your phone OFF.

He's right. It's all about programs which are using your mobile data connection.
Thnk's all..really appreciate it...but i have doubt for auto brightness...i read some forum that using the auto is increased the battry usage??is it true??confius...lol..
18 hrs is not normal.....at least for me. stock rom with speedmod kernel.
how can i increase my battery life in my htc inspire?
U can
1. flash custom kernel and than underclock and undervolt
2. root and remove bloatware running in background
Sent using r800i with DoomKernel v14 (1.21ghz)
First of all, you can't really increase it. Just a little bit.
Thingd that help are:
Turning screen brightness low
Turn bluetooth and gps of when you don't use it
Turn wifi off when you don't need it
Advanced things that less people know:
Wait untill your phone shut down automaticly, because battery is dead. Than boot a few times to be sure.
After that, plug it in and don't stop charching untill its 100%. Than plug it in again, untill its 100%. This will boost your phone.
If you have root you can change your phone to batterysaver, but it will kill high performances. If your just a heavy user, buy yourself a second battery
I hope it helped

Easy:
Brightness down.
Auto sync off.
Turn wifi & mobile data off when not in use.
Turn off auto brightness.
Use push notifications rather than refresh (Facebook, email, etc.)
Harder:
Flash a different kernel.
Flash a modem that gives you good signal.
Undervolt.
Underclock.
Enable tweaks (AFTR Idle, lulzactive inc_cpu_load, etc.)
Use a different governor/I/O Scheduler.
Use profiles (SetCPU, Voltage Control, etc.)
And, if you're desperate, flash a stripped down ROM.

I'm using Pantech IM-A820L, rom CM10 but battery drain so fast ... when i use battery monitor widget pro indicator 0% is 3.850V and power shutoff... please guide me how to fix it to 3.500V for longer time use. I tried to wipe battery but not work ... Thanks so much
If you look under Settings > Battery, you can see whats using most power.
I have a mod battery for my lenovo p770 phone and as a result, the phone now keep running until the battery dries out. I have tried to calibrate the battery stat but it doesn't help.
Question is: is there any app that force the phone to turn off at a certain battery level? example: I want to force turn off my phone at 5% battery level.
hi folks, battery life for me is a joke..roughly 14 hours with 2.30 hours screen time..thats completely stock, deodexed and rooted.. installed better battery stats and theres nothing draining it i can see..i have gps disabled, auto sync off, brightness down, location off..
thats with both a genuine samsung batt and a aftermarket one..
would i be best to try a different kernal..
You can try to remove all the system apps that you do not use or freeze them by greenify.
You can also try a custom kernel as dorimanx v.8.43 and turn down voltages arranging other aspects of the kernel through the application STweaks.
You can try the apolo kernel that already has versions with rated energy saving parameters
hi folks, just an update..
i installed apolo v4 regular and cleared the davilk cache (maybe this was the issue from the start)
now my stats read: - 23h30m on battery and screen on for 3h31mins, with 16% battery left, pretty impressed with that
maybe i can afford to turn the brightness up a little bit now, hehe
