Hi, I recently bought a HD2. So far it's been fine & I've enjoyed looking at all the posts & tweeks that are available for it, on these boards.
I have a query though I recorded a 15sec video in portrait, the other day & transferred it to my computer, it played fine, & the right way up.
Since then, I think, I do the same thing, but all the videos come out in landscape mode even though recorded in portrait & when I transfer them to my computer they are on their sides.
I know I can rotate them using 'w movie maker' but what I can't understand is why the 1st one came out correctly & the rest 90 degrees out.
Any thoughts as to what I'm doing wrong?
TIA
Anybody know what the best (optimal) conversion settings are for the htc titan?? I have a few blu ray videos that i want to convert for the phone. I used these videos on my samsung focus and they play fantastic but on the titan i see stuttering on some seens. thanks in advance
same issues here. tried multiple samples, changed framerate from original to 24, 29, etc. I'm wondering if this is something HTC/M$ overlooked?
I just converted some 720p shows for my titan and it works fine. The framerate might not be perfect, but it's consistent and you won't notice it. I used mp4hd with HD2 settings, High quality.

What program are you using?
looks like our frame rate issue is resolution related. My earlier samples where set at 800*480, which are default for this OS/device, and noticed the FR stutter on slow camera pan scenes, however, this is resolved when i used 640*480 and bumped up the kbs to 4000 (my preference, you can go lower), keeping the FR to original or 24fps. 720*480, DVD default, gave me the frame rate "bump" every few seconds. this was confirmed using Format factory, Tipard blu-ray converter, and IMTOO vid converters. i used XBOX hd video settings, WM9 vid codec along with the above settings and Im good to go. Hope this helps.
Hi,
i am searching for an Video Player that Plays the Video while the Screen is switched Off.
I am using the Samsung Galaxy S2 device, and all Video Players from the Play Store i tried are stopping the Video when i switch off the Screen.
It might seems unusual to play a video while the Screen is switched off, but i hope someone could help me.
I asked this on some other Internet-Forums, but no one was able to help me, so i was hoping to find someone on the biggest comunity i know.
Sorry for my bad English.

Hello everyone,
I have that weird problem when using Whatsapp, i can send recording video but people can't get the image, only the audio works whith a grey screen.
I tried in full HD and 640 X 480 . And my contacts have galaxy note 2, iphone 5 etc ... None of them could watch my videos ...
Any ideas ?
Thanks
Bump.
So far i've managed to try on three other Xperia Ultra from friends, same issue on all devices , people can't read our recording video on Whatsapp, they just get the audio with a grey screen.
Does Sony use a weird codec for recording videos ??
Hi,
Since I bought GT 2 PRO global version (RMX3301) 2 months ago, I have an issue with sending videos (recorded from the main camera) as videos playback get choppy after being processed by whatsapp.
latest updates did not solve the issue.
However, if I record and send videos directly from whatsapp, the playback is smooth.
Anyone faces the same problem? Any fixes?
Exact same issue here, have been trying every different setting etc and nothing working.
Same here. Gdpr version
Sorry, I posted a fix I thought works but doesn't ...
If you change video options to 4k, 30-60 fps, it´s must work for you.
Is better ,but no, not working
Same problem
try turning of hevc (h265) video in setting, alternatively cut the video shorter using the editor and use the new video
same problem here. Just found out the culprit. if you download the video to computer and try to read the FPS, it always using weird number, like 28.97, 29.41, 29,33 fps. I guess that what really make whatsapp compression failed, it tried to upscale the frame rate to 30 fps but because the FPS never have constant rate, the output get choppy.
I tried using Gcam, and works perfectly, because Gcam always produce 30 fps video.
Realme should fix this bug
To solve this inconvenience (it happens in several mobiles that are not Samsung and Iphone), you must use the "VenLow" application (I suggest downloading the premium app from google) and that's it, the same application indicates how to use it and you can also watch videos on youtube. Greetings People from Chile.
Just noticed that problem was solved already
